Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Appraisal and Revalidation Advisor/Project Support to join the Medical Director Services Team. The post holder will support the Trust wide compliance with appraisal, revalidation and job planning requirements, ensuring that processes are embedded throughout the Trust.
The post holder will be a point of contact for the department in relation to Appraisal, Revalidation and Job Planning enquiries. This will involve responding to queries and requests as appropriate from a range of stakeholders. This may require using persuasive skills, tact and diplomacy.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels across the Trust. You will need to be resilient, flexible and informative as well as having a positive 'can do' attitude.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential, in particular in Excel, in order to record, monitor, analyse and report compliance for appraisals and job planning.
The post holder will deal with queries in person, by telephone, and by email from doctors, managers and appraisers regarding revalidation, appraisal, 360 feedback and job planning.
They will maintain and update the electronic systems relating to appraisal, revalidation and job planning for doctors, including administration of user accounts, data entry, validation and analysis.

Job summary
Applications are invited for a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in congenital cardiac MRI and CT scanning to join the Paediatric Cardiology Service within Evelina London Women's & Children's Clinical Group. This is a full-time post. It is a requirement of your employment that you be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the Trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service.
Main duties of the job
This post is full time (10 programmed activities) with the option for additional programmed activities available.
This role will immerse the successful applicant fully within the paediatric cardiology team by undertaking cover of the inpatient service, outpatient clinics and support of clinics throughout the wider paediatric congenital heart network. The subspecialty activity is to provide specialist imaging in congenital cardiac MRI and cardiac CT.
The successful candidate will be on call for general paediatric cardiology.
The post-holder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years) and therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Criminal Records Bureau to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Your hours of work will be as detailed in your job plan and may be varied from time to time in accordance with the Consultant Contract Terms and Conditions.
About us
Paediatric Cardiology Services sit within the Children's Cardio-Respiratory and Intensive Care (CRIC) directorate and are a joint service across Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals and Evelina London Children's Hospital. As such it is a requirement of your employment that the post-holder is prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the Trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service.
The Paediatric Cardiology Services are committed to meeting the standards set out by NHS England for the provision of congenital cardiac care for all age groups. There are 32 substantive consultant cardiologists within the service covering a range of sub-specialist areas including fetal cardiology, cardiac imaging, electrophysiology and interventional cardiology. Our cardiac surgeons perform the full range of congenital heart surgery.
The Paediatric Cardiology Services have access to a full range of services across all age groups including fetal, neonatal and adult facilities at St Thomas' and also across the North West London Hospital Alliance. There is a close working relationship with academic partners from Kings College London and Imperial College London, with some academic consultants having joint NHS and University appointments and supervising research fellows and their projects.

Job summary
Applications are invited for two posts available for Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist to join the Paediatric Cardiology Service within Evelina London Women's & Children's Clinical Group. This is a full-time post. Main duties of the job
This post is full time (10 programmed activities) with the option for additional programmed activities available.
This role will immerse the successful applicant fully within the paediatric cardiology team by undertaking cover of the inpatient service, outpatient clinics and support of clinics throughout the wider paediatric congenital heart network.
The successful candidate will be on call for general paediatric cardiology.

Paediatric Cardiology Services sit within the Children's Cardio-Respiratory and Intensive Care (CRIC) directorate and are a joint service across Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals and Evelina London Children's Hospital. The Paediatric Cardiology Services are committed to meeting the standards set out by NHS England for the provision of congenital cardiac care for all age groups. There are 32 substantive consultant cardiologists within the service covering a range of sub-specialist areas including fetal cardiology, cardiac imaging, electrophysiology and interventional cardiology. Our cardiac surgeons perform the full range of congenital heart surgery.
The Paediatric Cardiology Services have access to a full range of services across all age groups including fetal, neonatal and adult facilities at St Thomas' and also across the North West London Hospital Alliance. An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Band 6 Specialist Cardiac Radiographer within Cardiology & X-ray Imaging. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic HCPC registered radiographer to join our dynamic imaging team at UHPT. Applications are welcomed from Radiographers with proven experience within an acute care setting, demonstrating a sound clinical knowledge of diagnostic radiography from within the UK and the NHS in general. Previous demonstrable experience of working within a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory in the NHS & UK and participation in a 24/7 on call service is highly desirable.
Within this role you will be expected to work within a multi-disciplinary team to support the diverse range of cardiac procedures and therapies offered at the South West Cardio-Thoracic Centre (SWCC), the Tertiary Unit for the South West. We provide imaging support for Primary PCI, complex PCI including CTO's, TAVI, complex devices such as CRT-D and a variety of EPS procedures.
The department has 3 state of the art Philips Azurion 7 Cardiac Imaging Systems. These include fully integrated IVUS, OCT and pressure wire systems. There will be a rotation into the general x-ray department & a 24/7 on-call rota covering the associated with the specialty.
Recent collaboration with Cardiology has enabled suitably motivated Cardiac Radiographers to study at post graduate level in Echocardiography with a view to career progression and possible reporting opportunities at Band 7 level.
Main duties of the job

The service hosts undergraduate radiographers on placement from the University of Exeter and the University of Plymouth as well as training apprentice radiographers, so you will be expected to be actively involved in their training and supervision as part of your role, whilst supporting the wider team. All candidates must be enthusiastic about teaching and supporting learners in the clinical environment.

Job summary
This is a 6 month fixed-term locum appointment, based at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC) in Northwood and Northwick Park Hospital (NPH) in Harrow, part of the London North West University Hospitals Trust (LNWUHT). The post comprises 10 programmed activities (PAs) and an on-call commitment.
The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred urological and GI oncology care across Northwick Park Hospital and MVCC. They will be responsible for specialist outpatient care, participation in MDT meetings and the safe delivery of both SACT and radiotherapy. This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. Working as a Bank Chef at Barchester, you will have the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks.
