Job summary
To provide family therapy service to children and young people with mental health problems across all sectors of care as part of a multi-disciplinary CAMH service. Providing specialist family assessment and therapy to service users and their families/carers and advice and consultation on their care to non-family therapy colleagues and the professional network involved in their support.
The post holder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures. They will utilise research skills for audit to support policy and service development; and undertake research within the area served by the service and of relevance to young people their families and carers.
The post holder will provide generic initial and Duty CAMHS assessments and interventions as well as providing specialist family therapy interventions and contribute to support plans for the care of children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Main duties of the job
To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary CAMH service for children and young people within the clinical governance structures and protocols of the service.
To undertake generic and specialist family therapy /systemic assessments of children and families referred to the service.
To provide a specialist family therapy service to children, young people and their parents/carers.
To provide Systemic Consultation to colleagues within CAMHS & partner agencies.
To be part of the Family Therapy Clinic both as a reflecting team member and as lead therapist.
To undertake Multi-family interventions and group work.
Where necessary to assist in supervising other systemic colleagues and practitioners
To receive regular clinical supervision in accordance with Trust guidelines.To pursue continuing professional development by relevant study and attendance at training events, courses and conferences to gain experience and skills relevant to the service.
To remain current with all mandatory / statutory training for the service
To maintain professional registration with UKCP
To adhere to local and Trust policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Lone Working, Sickness and Absence, and Annual Leave.

The opportunity has arisen to lead the community based Acute care at home team for the North and East locality of Cornwall. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of senior nurses providing support and treatment to people in their own homes. The Acute care at home team deliver treatments which include the administration of IV medications and the monitoring of people during an acute episode of illness to enable patients to recover at home safely. We are looking for a caring and motivated Genomic Practitioner, an exciting and newly established Healthcare Science Practitioner role within the Genomic Counselling work stream. The Genomic Practitioner will take a lead in running whole genome sequencing (WGS) consent clinics, counselling patients and families specifically about taking part in WGS and obtaining blood samples.
Main duties of the job
Working within the Clinical Genetics department, the role will involve communicating with patients and their families directly by phone, video call and face to face. It will include obtaining appropriate samples for genetic testing and recording consent.
The Genomic Practitioner will also help to facilitate access to the service, particularly amongst marginalised communities and families who are difficult to engage. Other roles include facilitating patient support days and patient engagement events. The role also includes co-ordinating multidisciplinary meetings and occasional education events for professionals. The role will also include providing education sessions to allied mainstream clinicians around consent and genomic testing, helping to upskill the mainstream workforce in genomics.

We are looking for a highly motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in our integrated paediatric Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy team. This is a fixed term post of 9 months to cover maternity leave.

The post is for clinical assessment and intervention for children with neuro developmental and motor skills difficulties. You will have the opportunity to work with children aged 0 - 19 years in a variety of settings, including; the Child Development Centre with some community visits to schools and nurseries. It would be an advantage to have experience in sensory integration and neuro developmental therapy techniques and of working with children.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Therapeutic Radiographer to provide both clinical leadership and operational management within our Treatment Review Service. The successful applicant will lead and support a team of Advanced Therapeutic Radiography Review Practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care throughout the radiotherapy pathway.

Main duties of the job
As Treatment Review Section Lead, you will provide clinical, professional, and operational leadership within our Treatment Review Service. Working closely with Consultant Clinical Oncologists and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will ensure patients undergoing radiotherapy receive expert assessment, advice, and compassionate support throughout their treatment journey.
The role includes a dedicated clinical commitment to supporting patients receiving radiotherapy for lymphoma, acting as a key point of contact and advocate to help optimise both patient experience and treatment outcomes.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will lead, line manage, and professionally supervise a team of Advanced Therapeutic Radiography Review Practitioners, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for supporting staff development, maintaining high standards of patient care, and driving service enhancements within the Treatment Review pathway.
As a member of the Radiotherapy senior management team, you will also contribute to the operational management, strategic direction, and ongoing development of the wider department. Working collaboratively with fellow section leads and senior colleagues, you will help shape service delivery, support departmental objectives, and ensure the provision of safe, effective, and patient-centred radiotherapy services.

The Radiotherapy Service serves a catchment population of approximately 1.6 million and is the provider of radiotherapy for the six London boroughs - Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. The service also receives national referrals from St John's Skin Clinic, based at GSTFT, for patients requiring specialist skin radiotherapy, Total Skin Electron Body radiotherapy (TSEBT). Following on from the governments green paper Dec 2017 Transforming children and young peoples mental health provision. Mind in West Essex is part of a national Trailblazer programme.
Our Children and Young Peoples (CYP) Mental Health Support Teams are working with children and young people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. This includes working with parents/caregivers of Primary School age pupils and working with Secondary schools and colleges to develop the support they offer the whole school community. The role:
You will be working as a clinical supervisor in our Mental Health Support Team and will be responsible for providing clinical skills and case management supervision to trainee and qualified EMHP staff. You will hold your own small caseload and deliver MHST interventions in schools.
The team includes Qualified and Trainee Educational Mental Health Practitioners, who deliver group and individual low intensity CBT interventions to children and young people and some support packages for parents/caregivers.
The post holder will have an active caseload of children and adolescents with mild moderate emotional and mental health difficulties and will use evidence-based therapeutic models. Low intensity, early interventions will be delivered in a range of education settings (primary, secondary, and colleges). The work will also include training for education professionals and developing the teams ability to serve the needs of the whole school community including children and young persons caregivers.
You will work with CYP and families from different cultural backgrounds, using interpreters when necessary, and should be committed to equal opportunities. You will also work closely with colleagues and partners in the Local Authority, SET CAMHS, education settings where interventions are being delivered and other relevant mental health providers.
Key Task Areas and Responsibilities:
Provide clinical and case management supervision, including support through observations and modelling, to team members who are undertaking EMHP training as well as working with qualified practitioners
Support the EMHPs to develop and maintain a working relationship with education settings
Support the EMHPs in delivering a Whole School Approach service
Support the EMHPs to develop their clinical progression during and after training
Support the EMHPs in assessing, reporting and managing any client risk
Support the EMHPs to ensure data is inputted to EPR (Iaptus) within 48 hours of clinical contact

Join our Gender Identity Service as a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary Gender Identity Service at NHFT. You'll play a key role in delivering specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for transgender and gender diverse adults. You will be working within NHS England guidelines to support individuals throughout their transition pathway. As part of an Outstanding-rated Trust, you'll contribute to high-quality, person-centred care while collaborating closely with colleagues across psychology, psychiatry, speech and language therapy, nursing and peer support.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Anaesthetics.
These are a mixture of replacement and new sessions to cover expanding surgical activity. With the current reconfiguration of services across the Health Board, including the new Grange University Hospital, the post holder may be required to work at any site across the health board to meet service needs. On-call commitment will be based primarily in the Grange University Hospital.
The Anaesthetic Directorate provides services to more than 30 theatres across the health Board. As well as undertaking elective theatre lists, we provide 24-hour cover for all emergency surgery, Trauma and Obstetrics as well as the cardiac arrest team and emergency department at the Grange University Hospital, Cwmbran. There is a 24 bedded adult critical care unit supported by an outreach team and an active acute and chronic pain management service supported by a team of pain nurses. Paediatric wards include a High-Dependency Unit and a level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The Obstetric unit serves approximately 5500 deliveries per year supported by 2 emergency theatres and a dedicated elective theatre.
Main duties of the job
The Grange University Hospital is supported by the local general hospitals of the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny, and Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr in Ystrad Mynach. The Royal Gwent Hospital is a major elective and day surgery centre supported by a 9 bedded post-operative Surgical High Care unit which has 24 hour anaesthetic staffing. Nevill Hall Hospital and Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr now operate as day surgery centres.
Substantive post holders will undertake 7 DCC's and 3 SPA sessions per week. Applicants are expected to take part in the anaesthetics on call rota at the Grange University Hospital. Rota frequency is currently 2 in 32 but can change with appointments and attracts a banding intensity supplement appropriate to service which will be agreed via job planning processes. Candidates are reminded of the Clinical Futures Programme and should expect agreed changes in their working patterns over forthcoming years. ABUHB is looking for capable applicants with skills to support the future health care models in ABUHB.
All Health Board sites offer generous departmental facilities and busy professional development activities. Shared office accommodation and secretarial support with full IT facilities will be provided.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Diabetes Inpatient Specialist Nurse (DSN) to be at the forefront of driving up standards and quality in diabetes care within the Inpatient areas of Liverpool University Hospitals (Aintree Hospital) and The Walton Centre. Aintree Inpatient Diabetes Service has recently achieved DCAP accreditation. Part of the role is therefore aimed at continuing this success by participating in audit of the care given to patients within Aintree Hospital to suggest improvements in services to improve the overall quality of care and patient experience.
The post holder will be required to deliver complex educational packages to health care professionals and patients around effective diabetes management.
The role will also include some development opportunities working in a variety of other clinical areas, outpatient clinics in the Diabetes Centre. It will include sub-specialist clinics e.g. pre-operative assessment clinic at The Walton Centre. The successful applicant will preferably have some clinical experience of working within the field of Diabetes and with awareness of and ability to work to evidence-based guidelines appropriate to the specialty.
The successful post holder will have the support of the wider Diabetes team to help in their professional development, Nurse Consultant, Diabetes Specialist nurses, Diabetes specialist Dietitians, Podiatry team and Consultant Diabetologists.
Main duties of the job
Diabetes Nurse Specialist will act as the clinical expert and professional resource to the multi- professional team, patients and carers within their Speciality Service.
The post holder will have a responsibility to develop the specialist area of practice in partnership with other members of the speciality team will work collaboratively to develop services and improve the quality of care delivered.

- Undergraduate degree, upper second class or above, in Psychology OR related subject (e.g., Psychology, Education, Childhood development, Social Work etc), OR any subject with further training or experience in a relevant field (e.g., Teaching/TA; Learning Support; HCA; Youth Work; Counselling etc)
- OR relevant professional experience in CYP Mental Health/Education/Mentorship (to be considered on a case-by-case basis)

- Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, counselling or within a specific psychological therapy Psychology or other health /social care/youth related undergraduate degree Other relevant postgraduate degree
