Main duties of the job
Your day in the life of a Healthcare Assistant
As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will be supporting our 2 Week Wait, Dermatology contract across Reading. You will be responsible for collecting stock and equipment for the clinic, setting up examination rooms for clinicians, and acting as a chaperone during patient consultations and procedures. Additionally, you will take on administrative duties, ensuring all reports are completed with outcomes and providing support related to administrative tasks. Your support will ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic and contribute to providing a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience for our patients.
Please note our service operates seven days a week and you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/07:30 - 17:30/18:00.
Our Clinic locations are nationwide and include Manchester, Birmingham, Hereford, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire, Stoke, Staffordshire, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Wrexham, Gloucestershire, Reading, Frimley, Slough and Bassetlaw. This is a mobile role and you will be expected to travel to any of these site locations.

Job summary
The Resuscitation Practitioner supports the delivery of high-quality resuscitation services across the Trust, contributing to education, training, clinical practice, governance, and service improvement to ensure safe, effective, evidence-based care.
The postholder will deliver resuscitation training programmes for clinical and non-clinical staff using a variety of educational approaches, including simulation, clinical skills teaching, e-learning, and competency assessment. They will support staff in recognising and responding to clinical deterioration and cardiac arrest, ensuring compliance with national standards and Trust requirements.
The role includes providing expert clinical support during emergencies, responding to cardiac arrest and medical emergency calls within individual competence, and promoting effective multidisciplinary team working.
Working closely with Lead and Senior Resuscitation Practitioners, the postholder will contribute to the development of resuscitation policies, audits, quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance activities, and national audit programmes to support continuous improvement.
This cross-site role requires the delivery of training and operational support across all Trust sites. The postholder will act as a clinical expert and role model, maintaining specialist knowledge and promoting excellence in resuscitation practice, education, patient safety, and service development in line with current evidence and national guidance.
Main duties of the job
Deliver resuscitation training for clinical and non-clinical staff, supporting the development and maintenance of skills in basic, immediate, advanced and paediatric life support, emergency response, human factors, simulation training, and recognition of the deteriorating patient.
Use a range of educational methods, including e-learning, simulation, and competency-based assessment, to support learning and compliance with Trust and national standards. Provide training and advice to staff in high-risk clinical areas, promoting a positive learning environment and acting as a resource for resuscitation practice. Hold, or be willing to obtain within 12 months, an RCUK-accredited Level 3 instructor qualification.
Clinical Responsibilities
Maintain accountability for autonomous practice and ongoing professional development. Demonstrate and maintain competence in advanced resuscitation skills, including defibrillation, ECG interpretation, intravenous access and drug administration, pacing, advanced airway management, intraosseous access, and mechanical CPR devices.
Respond to adult, paediatric, neonatal, maternal, trauma and medical emergency calls, acting as team leader or multidisciplinary team member within individual competence. Support patients and relatives with information regarding resuscitation decisions where appropriate. Maintain clinical competence through regular practice and keep knowledge current through research, evidence, and national guidance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pathway co-ordinator to join our dynamic, forward thinking multidisciplinary team in the SHAC/HIV Outpatient department.
The Sexual Health and HIV service is based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and provides specialist outpatient care to approximately 2400 people living with HIV and a large cohort of people accessing services for sexual health and contraception care. We are a nationally recognised leading centre for Sexual Health and HIV care and the tertiary referral centre for HIV care for the HIV south coast network. We pride ourselves on a multidisciplinary led approach to care.
We offer a variety of services including joint clinics with other disciplines within the Trust and virtual clinics to support people who do not require frequent face to face follow up and support retention in care.
We are looking for someone with excellent administrative skills to provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the growing virtual and joint services within the service. The post holder will also be expected to provide some additional support to the admin team within the SHAC/Lawson Unit when required.
Main duties of the job
After appropriate training, the post holder will be expected to:
- Receive and respond promptly to correspondence from patients and clinicians relating to virtual and joint clinics.
- Coordinate HIV & SHAC virtual clinics, including Connect, EmERGE, PrEP EmERGE and future virtual clinic services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MRI assistant to join our friendly MRI team, with a requirement for rotation between all Radiology departments at South Tees NHS Hospital sites including James Cook University Hospital, Friarage hospital in Northallerton, Redcar Primary Care Centre and the new Hub in Stockton.
The role will incorporate a 7-day working week with shifts covering 8am-8pm and 9-5pm. Cover is required 365 days per year.

Main duties will include preparing patients prior for their scans and assisting the patients throughout their time within the department. Maintain an efficient daily worklist through dealing with patient queries, appointments and assisting the Radiographers.

Job summary
The Chlamydia Screening Programme is part of the Sexual Health and Contraception services (SHAC) in Brighton and Hove. The service isoperatingfrom 3 hubs, with outreach to other parts of the city.
Working as part of a team to deliver the highest standards of administrative support for patients and staff, main duties will include;
data collection and analysis,
informing best practice,
seeking & evaluating improvements through data with use of patient management systems and spread sheets.
The post holder will oversee administrative staff and patient management processes for the delivery, inputting and communication of home test kits and results.
Main duties of the job
Toassistwith patient data collection by the development of databases and spread sheets.
Work collaboratively with the Recall Health Advisors to ensure ajoined-upapproach to results management across the service and support delivery across teams whenrequired
To task manage administrators processing recalls and positiveresults andprovide information on procedures to the wider Integrated Service Team to ensure the highest compliance with policies and procedures and local guidance.
To lead and manage daily positive STI results list and its associated interpretation and administration including continual review and development of the patient positive results and recall system to promote maximum efficiency
To order health resources through IPORC systems, such as patient information leaflets; condoms and training materials within stock budget asrequired
To attend outreach events such as Fresher's fair in conjunction with the Health Promotion Specialist.

Job summary
We have a exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist post within the Chester East Care Community Team based in the Fountains Health Centre as part of an integrated care team.

This position is required to fill this replacement post within the haematology department. The successful applicant should hold accreditation in medical oncology from the Royal College of Physicians or equivalent, and should be on the specialist register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill this vacant, 6 month, 10 PA locum post within the busy department of Haematology at St Jamess University Hospital. In relation to this post, the appointee will specifically be helping to further develop and support myeloid services (acute leukaemias, myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative disorders). The myeloid team provides level 3 service to Leeds, Harrogate and Huddersfield patients and works closely with the bone marrow transplant team and CAR-T team. Myeloid service is a busy inpatient and outpatient service with multiple clinical trials running, which recruit locally and regionally. We also support and advise our regional colleagues on patient management and provide region-wide MDT services for patients with myeloid disorders. They will join a large and established team delivering the full breadth of haematology services across Yorkshire and beyond with extensive research activity. We also provide TYA services for myeloid malignancies for the region, including East Yorkshire.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the practice navigation team may include any or all of the items in the following information. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the senior receptionist or practice management, dependant on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels:
- Have a thorough knowledge of the practice and all policies and protocols relative to the role.
- Ensure that the reception is manned at all times during the practice opening hours.
- Answering general enquires, explaining surgery procedures. Demonstrating up to date awareness of the various range of services the practice/community provides.
- Be able to cover all reception roles, including cover at alternative locations if required.
- Respond to a patient in an emergency
- Advise patients of relevant charges for private ( non-General Medical Services) services, accept payment and issue receipts for same.
- Deal with patient request for registration as per the practice protocol, explaining practice arrangements and formal requirements.
- Process patients through Accrux triage tool action accordingly, whether face 2 face or on the telephone.
- Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team members and associated healthcare agencies and providers.
- Demonstrate familiarity with all appointment systems in operation
- Book appointments ensuring that enough information is recorded for clinician to follow, using the signposting tool on the clinical booking system.
- Monitor and direct patients where necessary to consulting and treatment rooms.

Your day in the life of a Healthcare Assistant
As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will be supporting our 2 Week Wait, Dermatology contract across Staffordshire, primarily around Stoke. You will be responsible for collecting stock and equipment for the clinic, setting up examination rooms for clinicians, and acting as a chaperone during patient consultations and procedures. Additionally, you will take on administrative duties, ensuring all reports are completed with outcomes and providing support related to administrative tasks. Your support will ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic and contribute to providing a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience for our patients.
Please note our service operates seven days a week and you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/07:30 - 17:30/18:00.
Our Clinic locations are nationwide and include Manchester, Birmingham, Hereford, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire, Stoke, Staffordshire, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Wrexham, Gloucestershire, Reading, Frimley, Slough and Bassetlaw. Previous paediatric experience and an NVQ Level 2 in Healthcare (working towards Level 3) are desirable. You'll develop practical nursing skills under the guidance of qualified paediatric nurses.
We offer part-time and full-time hours, with clinics running primarily Monday-Friday between 8 am and 6 pm, along with some evening and weekend shifts.

- Deliver Mental Health Act (MHA) services in line with legislative, procedural and Trust Delegation (2026) requirements with minimal supervision.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Children and Young People's Mental Health Service in Knowsley.
We are a multi disciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, therapists and support workers who assess, treat and signpost referrals received for children and young people displaying mental health difficulties.

Job summary
There are two apprenticeships available, one based at Sunderland Hospital and one based at South Tyneside Hospital. Support service installations and their maintenance are an essential part of the NHS and form a vital link in Health Care Provision. An exciting and challenging position have arisen for Level 3 Apprenticeships in Multi Skilled Engineering which will require the individual to learn and study both aspects of electrical and mechanical engineering. Employed by CHoICE, a wholly owned company of the South Tyneside & Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, the successful applicant will work towards the completion of a tailored training plan in partnership with the Northern & Yorkshire NHS Assessment Centre (NYNHSAS).
As part of the apprenticeship, the successful applicant will be released to attend college to allow them to study for the technical knowledge aspect of the apprenticeship, it is typical that this is achieved over one day / evening per week for the first two years of the role. Practical basic skills training will be achieved via block release for approximately 8 months during the first year of the apprenticeship, which once achieved, will allow the apprentice to commence training towards their End Point Assessment to achieve their full Apprenticeship Standard which will take place within the Employing organisation and NYNHSAC.

The successful applicant will attend a College to study for the technical knowledge aspect of the apprenticeship for example one day / evening a week for the first two years and practical basic skills training as a block release for approximately 8 months.
