The focus of the role is a Community Paediatrician with a specialist interest in Community Paediatrics to support the onward development of the Community Paediatric Service. However, we would also welcome applicants who would like to retain a degree of General Paediatric and Neonatal work and would be happy to discuss this as an option.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will work as a Community Paediatrician, though as stated above, applicants may wish to retain General Paediatric and Neonatal commitments including and want to share the workload with consultant colleagues, including out-of-hours responsibilities with a Consultant on-call rota. The team also supports mutual out of hours cover for annual, study and professional leave.
About us
This position provides an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified specialist to actively contribute to a modern Community Paediatric Service, along with Paediatric and Neonatal services within this highly regarded Trust. We have a wide range of acute and community services, and the post will afford high levels of professional visibility.
The hospital is situated in Gorleston, 200 metres from the beach and picturesque countryside, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border close to the towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft and within commuting distance from several small villages with affordable housing and local amenities.
