Job summary
Applications are invited for a full time Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry based at Bushey Fields Hospital Dudley. This is an existing post within a well-established supportive team working both on the in-patient wards and in the community, having retained the Continuity of Care model. Patients have access to local beds and strong links with community services and the CRHT team ensure that patients remain close to home. Community services are based in a large mental health centre where the successful applicant will work with 3 other consultants and their medical teams; CPNs; OTs; psychologists and social workers, providing sectorised services to the South of the borough.
Main duties of the job
There are opportunities for someone with an enthusiasm for leadership and innovation to become involved in active service improvement and partnership working with GPs and primary care is a focus of our development.
The Trust encourages the participation of medical staff in Medical Management and the there is strong support from the Clinical Directors.
As a training and teaching Trust there are opportunities to teach postgraduate psychiatric and GP trainees and undergraduates from Birmingham and Grenada Universities.
Links to local Universities have always been strong and input to Birmingham and Wolverhampton Universities is welcomed.
The post holder will work full time to a 10 PA Job Plan.

Job responsibilities
This is a substantive Consultant appointment which attracts a Recruitment and Retention Premium (RRP) of £20,000, payable as a recruitment incentive for new starters, subject to Trust policy and specific terms and conditions.
The Recruitment and Retention Premium will be paid over a threeyear period as follows:
£10,000 on taking up post
£5,000 at the commencement of year 2
£5,000 at the commencement of year 3
This provides a total value of £20,000 over three years, subject to continued eligibility.
In addition, the post is eligible for relocation expenses of up to £8,000, in line with Trust relocation policy and subject to eligibility criteria.
Applicants wishing to claim relocation supportmustdeclare this at interview, as relocation support cannot be approved or applied retrospectively.
Recruitment and Retention Premia and relocation expenses arenonpensionable, subject to ongoing eligibility, and will be paid in accordance with Trust policies in place at the time of appointment. This is a substantive Consultant appointment which attracts a Recruitment and Retention Premium (RRP) of £20,000, payable as a recruitment incentive for new starters, subject to Trust policy and specific terms and conditions.
The Recruitment and Retention Premium will be paid over a threeyear period as follows:
£10,000 on taking up post
£5,000 at the commencement of year 2
£5,000 at the commencement of year 3
This provides a total value of £20,000 over three years, subject to continued eligibility.
In addition, the post is eligible for relocation expenses of up to £8,000, in line with Trust relocation policy and subject to eligibility criteria.

Main duties of the job
Clinical and Health Care
1. To answer health professional phone line and add cases to SystmOne e.g. blood results,referrals from other health professionals or AVS calls.
2. To support clinical, non clinical staff and Service Users by contributing to the smooth running ofthe service.
3. Receive specimens from patients and record these on the audit trail to be taken to the lab.

As an Applications Support Analyst you will work in a support team,responsible for supporting all RBFT digital applications. Gloucester Neonatal Unit for a highly organised and motivatedNeonatal Stores Administrator to join our dedicated Neonatal Unit, Transitional Care and Outreach Service team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This important role supports the smooth day-to-day operation of our neonatal services by ensuring that essential equipment, medical supplies and consumables are available, maintained and managed effectively. Main duties of the job
Responsible for ordering equipment and supplies for the neonatal unit through P2P and the Women's & Children's Specialty Procurement Team, ensuring stock levels are maintained and resources used effectively. Works with the Stores Lead and Ward Managers to identify cost-saving opportunities and support efficient use of equipment, consumables and services.
Acts as the main liaison with Medical Engineering, ensuring equipment is maintained, serviced and safe, reporting faults and supporting investigations into Medical Device Alerts. Ensures relevant information is shared with key stakeholders.
Oversees the storage, cleaning, monitoring and decommissioning of equipment in line with Trust policies. Supports procurement and equipment replacement programmes, working with Procurement, Materials Management and the Trust Equipment Lead to meet clinical, operational and financial requirements.
Liaises with Gloucester Managed Services (GMS) regarding maintenance, infrastructure projects and unit developments, and supports charitable donors in identifying equipment and service improvement opportunities.
Works closely with the Women's & Children's Specialty Procurement Team to ensure effective stores management and the smooth operation of the neonatal unit, while contributing to service improvement, quality initiatives and financial sustainability.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Acute Oncology Team, within the Medical Division of Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. This role is for a band 7 Sonographer rotating between the City campus, Treatment Centre ,QMC campus and the Community Diagnostic Centre due to open in 2027. A great opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team and develop new skills in a busy department.
NUH provides both Obstetric and non-Obstetric services across the 4 current sites which includes GP (AQP), outpatients, DVT /vascular, and inpatient scanning, and a gynaecological scanning service for the Nottingham Treatment Centre.
There are 3 Ultrasound Clinical Specialists who will support and guide you during your induction period and beyond.
The Ultrasound Department is open between 8am-6pm Monday-Friday with potential additional lists at the weekend.
You will be accountable to the Ultrasound Modality Manager and the Diagnostic Pathway Assistant General Managerfor Ultrasound, and as part of this role, you will work with a team of Sonographers', Radiologists and other specialties within NUH to ensure a high quality Ultrasound service to our customers.
The Ultrasound team are well established, dedicated and professional. They are a diverse group of people with a broad range of skills and experience.

Were looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our Dorset Outreach team, supporting a young adult living just outside Dorchester. Youll be providing 1:1 community-based support helping them take part in meaningful activities, stay active, and grow in confidence.This is a fun and rewarding role where your relationship with the person you support really matters.
About the person youll be supporting:
They are a sociable and friendly person in their early twenties who thrives on routine, humour, and connection. They enjoy spending time outdoors, all things gardening, music, festivals, swimming, and trying new foods. They are also keen to build up their volunteering and community involvement. Theyre happiest when outside in nature, doing things they enjoy, they need support to safely access these opportunities whilst developing their independence.
This individual responds well to upbeat, calm support workers who are patient, observant, and fun to be around. Having the same people around regularly helps them feel safe and supported.
Where youll be working:
- Dorchester and surrounding areas
- Shift patterns are 09:00-15:00, Monday Friday.
- This is a community-based support role with no personal care required. Youll be accompanying them to activities, clubs, appointments, and volunteering roles.
- As this is a 1:1 support role, a driver with access to your own car is essential

Are you an experienced Registered Midwife with an interest Fetal Medicine.
If so, we have a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Fetal Medicine Operational Network as the Regional Lead Midwife .
The post holder will be the strategic and midwifery lead for the regional Operational Network (ODN) - specialising in Fetal Medicine .
Through strong leadership and effective management, the Lead Midwife for the FMU ODN will promote and deliver excellence while maintaining and continually improving clinical standards.
