Job summary
We are seeking a Clinical Admin Officer to join the Medicine team at Wexham Park Hospital. This is a Full-time role (37.50 hours per week) offered as a Permanent contract.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with Medicine Consultants and their teams. It is ideally suited to candidates with proven administrative experience, strong organisational skills, and a positive approach to change.
As a Clinical Admin Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to Consultants and junior medical staff, ensuring all documentation and patient data is accurately recorded in line with Trust standards.
Main duties of the job
To provide an administrative service to the Department
To plan and organise own work schedule with the use of appropriate planning aids, demonstrating good time management and ensure anticipated difficulties in meeting deadlines are promptly reported
Deal with Consultants requests for actioning urgent correspondence, medico-legal reports and any other appropriate ad hoc correspondence requested in line with the Trusts policies and procedures
To obtain and organise information in support of own work activities, maintain confidentiality in accordance with organisation procedures
Answer queries from colleagues, GP's and patients in a timely and professional manner
To ensure that secure systems are in place for the storage of all resources including computerised information
Scanning and uploading relevant patient medical documents into the Trust's Electronic Patient Record system
To assist clinicians with sending letters using Epic where incomplete patient information or where attachments need to be included
To ensure all phone calls are dealt with - in a professional and timely manner adhering to the local targets set by the department and Trust
To operate the various IT systems used to fulfil the role/department requirements.

Job summary
The Department of Clinical Health Psychology are delighted to be recruiting a Consultant Clinical Psychologist tolead and develop the cancer and palliative care psychology services.
The post will form part of the senior leadership of our thriving Clinical Health Psychology team, based at Stratford Healthcare. You will be part of a large and supportive team of Clinical Psychologists, psychological practitioners, trainees, trainee CAPs, and assistant psychologists working in physical health. Supervision and support will be provided by an experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the team.
The role will involve both face to face and remote working, along with consultation, training and supervision of psychology and MDT staff.You will also be expected to represent the department at local, regional and national level.
Our department has strong links with the local Clinical Psychology training courses, and regularly offers specialist third year placements. We encourage research and improvement and there would be scope to utilise these skills in this post.

Main duties of the job
To take the lead in the Strategic development and systematic provision of high quality, specialised clinical psychology programmes of care and advice to patients and staff working throughout South Warwickshire, covering cancer and palliative care as well as a range of physical health specialties.
To propose service changes and policy for all clinicians providing psychological care (MDT etc.) in the general patient group.
To provide highly specialist clinical health psychology assessment and therapy across the health economy for patient groups as negotiated with the Director.
To provide highly specialist advice and consultation on patient care to colleagues and carers.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise individual responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the patient groups described.
To utilise research skills for audit, service development and research within various patient specialties as negotiated with the Director
To support workforce development by training and supervision.
To be responsible for the allocation of resources, line and operational management of the clinicians working with the general patient care delivery.
To provide highly specialist teaching for the Birmingham, Warwick & Coventry, & Oxford University Doctoral Clinical Psychology Training courses and other training providers.

To provide highly specialist psychological assessments requiring advance theoretical and practical knowledge of a variety of psychological models to a broad range of patients i.e. inpatients, hospice residents, nursing home residents, outpatients and members of staff employed by the Trust, referred to the clinical health psychology service. This will be based upon the appropriate use, interpretation, and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, specialist knowledge within oncology & palliative care, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with patients, family members and others who may be involved in the patients care.
To be responsible for formulating and implementing highly specialist psychological intervention plans for the formal treatment and/or management of a patients physical and psychological health problems based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the patients difficulties employing evidence-based methods of efficacy, across the full range of health-care settings.
To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals, including members of staff, carers, families and groups, within and across teams, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses.
To evaluate and decide on treatment options utilising physical and psychological theoretical and therapeutic models (e.g., systemic, cognitive-behavioural therapy) and highly complex factors, based on past psychological and mental health history and ongoing psychological developmental processes that have shaped the individual, family, or group, as well as constraining factors associated with the patients medical treatment, physical health status and prognosis.
To decide upon appropriate courses of action (consulting as appropriate with supervisor / peers) and exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of patients whose problems are managed by psychologically based treatment plans according to a professional code of conduct.
To provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to a patients formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan.
To facilitate a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all patients of the service, across all settings and agencies serving the patient group.
To undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual patients and to provide advice to other professions on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management.

The Clinical Coding service is a part of the Digital& Data Teamof the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire NHS Group (UHN) andis responsible forextracting and codifying complex clinical information that describes a patient's diagnostic and procedural healthcare status within an episode of carein a timely manner.
The ability of the UHN Group toaccuraterecord and codify its clinical activity is fundamental to understanding the quality of its clinical services. Our coded data is used by all parts of the Group's business to deliver trusted and high-quality services to patients.
Accredited Clinical Coders are a corecomponentof the Clinical Coding service and have a crucial supporting role in the overall management of the Group as their output directly influences income through the NHS Payment Scheme.
Thispost attracts a 10% Recruitment & Retention Premium (RRP) payment paid monthly. The RRP is subject to annual review.
Main duties of the job
As an Accredited ClinicalCoderyou willbe responsible forcodifyingin a timely mannercomplex clinical activity according to all relevant National Clinical Coding Standards and Local Clinical Coding Policies.
You will be expected toevidencean expert grasp of National Clinical Coding Standards (evidencedby audit results,maintainingyour professional Accredited Clinical Coder status and attending regular Clinical Coding Standards Refresher courses and other associated training).
You willassistthe Clinical Coding Team Leads to support and mentor Associate Clinical Coders and to achieve the submission of codified datain a timely manner.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Dietitian to join our dynamic team at UHCW. As a Dietitian within the Nutrition Team you will be working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based nutritional advice, assessment, and treatment to a variety of patients, including those with intestinal failure who require parenteral nutrition . The role will include a mix of inpatient care on a variety of wards (surgical, gastro, oncology, intensive care) alongside outpatient clinics.

As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology & Haematology you will provide an oncology and haematology clinical pharmacy service to our chemotherapy day unit and inpatient ward.

We are seeking a highly motivated CBT Therapist to join our team of passionate and skilled psychological therapists on a 12-month, fixed-term contract (covering maternity leave) (until August 2027). Working collaboratively with Wokingham and Bracknell Community Mental Health Services (CMHS), our team aims to deliver the highest quality care for adults with significant mental health needs.
The post is based at Resource House, Wokingham and/or Church Hill House, Bracknell, with an expectation that you will work from base at least 2 of your 3 days per week. We support flexible and agile working, with opportunities to work from home where service needs allow. Occasional travel across Berkshire will be required for meetings, training and collaborative working.
Main duties of the job
- Conduct specialised clinical assessments and develop clear and detailed psychological formulation of the service user's presenting difficulties using evidence based cognitive behavioural models of understanding.
- In collaboration with service users and multi-disciplinary colleagues, develop personalised treatment plans based on service user needs, assessment findings, formulation of the presenting problems, and evidence of effectiveness to support recovery goals and improve quality of life.
- Deliver evidence based cognitive behavioural therapy (to individuals and groups) using a range of specialist knowledge and techniques, and adapting interventions based on evolving needs and formulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team clinicians and multi-agency representatives to ensure the delivery of integrated and psychologically informed care.
- Support and engage in research activities as indicated, adding to the evidence base for practice, and participate in development activities and quality improvement initiatives, to enhance the overall effectiveness of clinical services.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to join the Occupational Therapy team at Wolfson Neurorehabilitation Centre based at Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton. As a key member of the therapy team, you will work under supervision and guidance of trained therapists to provide direct hands-on treatment for people with neurological conditions in both individual and group settings. You will also have an essential role in assisting with administration tasks, maintaining equipment safety and promoting best quality patient care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful, self-motivated and reliable individual with good written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in health or social care is not essential as in-house training will be provided to assist continuous development of your skills, but would be beneficial.
