This is a rare opportunity to become the founding Chief Executive of one of the most significant new organisations in primary care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build an organisation from its earliest stages, shaping its strategy, culture, partnerships and long-term influence across one of the country's largest and most dynamic health systems. We are particularly keen to attract applications from individuals whose backgrounds, experiences and perspectives reflect the diverse communities of North West London and who share our ambition to transform the future of primary care.
Main duties of the job
Candidates will have a strong track record of organisational development, transformation or growth, together with experience of building effective partnerships across organisational boundaries and influencing senior stakeholders where there is no direct line of authority. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial and financial acumen, political judgement and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery. They will be comfortable working in ambiguity, adept at building trust and consensus, and motivated by improving public services and outcomes for local communities. A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and the Nolan Principles of Public Life is essential.
About us
The North West London Primary Care Provider Collaborative (NWL PCPC) is a newly established Community Interest Company bringing together primary care provider organisations from across North West London to create a stronger, more influential voice for primary care within one of the country's largest and most complex health systems. Collectively representing organisations serving a population of more than two million people, the Collaborative has been created to enable primary care to work at greater scale, shape system strategy and deliver services differently. As Integrated Care Systems continue to evolve and new responsibilities transfer from the Integrated Care Board, the Collaborative will play an increasingly significant role in supporting neighbourhood working, hosting strategic functions and delivering services on behalf of the wider NHS. We are now seeking to appoint our inaugural Chief Executive to help establish and lead this ambitious new organisation at a defining moment in its development.

We are looking for an exceptional Programme Director to lead the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme (HHRP), a Wave 1 scheme within the Government's New Hospital Programme.

Joining at a pivotal stage, you will lead the programme towards completion of the Outline Business Case in Spring 2027 and into the next phases of delivery, working closely with our construction partner, Kier.

Job summary
A rare opportunity has arisen for a clinical psychologist to play a pivotal role in the development of a new adult psycho-oncology service for people affected by cancer in County Durham and Darlington (CDDFT): building pathways and supporting patients.
This post will begin with a focus on supporting Lung cancer patients who are at particular risk in our area and with sharing learnings regionally.
At the heart of CDDFT's psychological approach is the critical nature of proximity, listening, involvement in systemic issues and how service design can either entrench or challenge inequality.
We want to shape a psychologically informed service that genuinely reaches all types of people in all manner of locations - so that no one is left behind.
If this approach sounds exciting to you, you have experience of working in phsyical health settings, and are motivated to build a service that makes a difference. We want to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
This role wil begin with scoping and developing psychological support with a focus on lung cancer population needs. It will involve speaking with patients, MDTs, charities, external stakeholders to help develop ways to provide specialist psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions that are appropiate for the population in all their variety.
You won't be alone, this is part of a servicewide approach so you will work directly with the head of service. A key aspect of the role will be to share learnings across the wider lung cancer region to support dissemination of best practice.
To really enjoy this job you will need to be creative and innovative, but also a real completer finisher with an eye for detail and evaluation.
About us
If you are being interviewed you must accept an interview slot in the system to continue, even if you have arranged with the manager.
You must be able to produce ALL certificates stated essential in the person specification or you will not be able to complete pre-employment checks.
