Job summary
Fixed 12month term contract from date of employment.
Are you a friendly and customer-focused individual looking to make a difference in the NHS? We are seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrator to join our busy Audiology team, providing an efficient and welcoming service to patients across Worcestershire.
As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience. You will be responsible for greeting patients, managing appointments, handling telephone enquiries, maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Audiology service.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team that is committed to delivering high-quality care. You will work closely with Audiologists, administrative colleagues and other healthcare professionals, helping patients access the services they need while contributing to the efficient delivery of care.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, a professional and compassionate approach, and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment. Previous reception or administrative experience is desirable, but most importantly we are looking for someone who enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
If you are reliable, motivated and would like to be part of a team that makes a real difference to patients every day, we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Join our friendly Audiology team and play a key role in supporting patients across Worcestershire. As an Audiology Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients attending our hearing and balance services, helping to ensure they receive a professional, efficient and welcoming experience.
This varied role involves welcoming patients to the department, managing appointments, handling telephone and email enquiries, maintaining patient records and supporting the day-to-day administration of Audiology clinics. You will work closely with Audiologists, administrative colleagues and ENT teams to ensure clinics run smoothly and patients are seen at the right time and in the right place.
The post also provides essential administrative support for ENT services, including coordinating referrals, managing clinic information and helping to facilitate patient pathways between Audiology and ENT. Your work will contribute directly to reducing waiting times, improving access to services and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable and able to remain calm in a busy environment. If you enjoy working with people, have excellent communication skills and want to make a positive difference to patients every day, we would love to hear from you.
In return, you will join a supportive team that values kindness, teamwork and continuous improvement, with opportunities to develop your skills within a busy NHS service.

Take a share of duty doctor and same-day urgent access sessions, triaging and managing acute presentations safely.
Assess, diagnose and treat patients across the full range of general practice, making appropriate referrals to secondary care and other services.
Prescribe safely and cost effectively in line with practice and ICB formulary guidance, and contribute to medicines optimisation and repeat prescribing.

Contribute to the ongoing management of patients with long term conditions and to delivery of the Quality and Outcomes Framework and local and enhanced services.
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous and coded records using EMIS Web

About us
At All Saints Surgery you will join a close, supportive team where people genuinely look out for one another. Our GPs, nurses, pharmacists and wider clinical and administrative colleagues work side by side, share knowledge openly and help each other through the busy days. New starters tell us they feel welcome from day one.
The atmosphere is calm, friendly and grounded. We protect time for a proper coffee and a chat as well as for clinical meetings, and we take workload and wellbeing seriously, so you can do good work without feeling stretched too thin. Decisions are made together and your ideas will be heard, whatever your stage of career.
You will have a manageable, well-organised list, protected administrative time and generous study leave to support your development, appraisal and revalidation, plus the NHS Pension Scheme and the day-to-day backing of experienced colleagues and a strong multidisciplinary team. We are happy to be flexible on sessions and working patterns to fit life outside work. WE offer free parking.

Job summary
These posts are office based and available full or part time, covering shifts across a 24/7 rota, across days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
We are looking for compassionate and experienced Band 6 Registered Nurses to join our new Worcestershire 24/7 Palliative and End of Life Care Advice Line service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a countywide service providing timely advice, telephone triage, symptom management guidance, reassurance and care coordination for patients deemed to be in their last year of life, their families, carers, care homes and professionals.
Working as part of an integrated model with our Single Point of Access (SPA), Evening and Night Nursing, Neighbourhood Team and Specialist Palliative Care services with strong collaborative working with Primary Care and other system partners, you will help people remain in their preferred place of care and reduce avoidable crisis escalation and avoidable Emergency Department attendances or hospital admissions.
The role is clinically focused and will be co-located with other clinicians with the ability to escalate to more senior clinicians where appropriate. There will be only one clinician covering this phoneline so the ability to deliver the service confidently is essential.
Applicants must read the attached guidance notes before submitting your application for full understanding of Trust requirements.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will provide telephone triage, clinical assessment and advice to patients deemed to be in their last year of life, as well as their families, carers, care homes and healthcare professionals. You will coordinate and navigate care across services, making appropriate referrals or escalations to Neighbourhood Teams, Urgent Community Response, GP out of hours, Community Specialist Palliative Care Teams or other services when needed. You will work as part of the SPA, Evening and Nights and Specialist Palliative Care model, with access to clinical supervision, specialist training and specialist advice.
A typical shift will involve responding to calls, assessing need, giving patients or their families time to talk and provide reassurance, providing compassionate advice, documenting contacts and supporting safe, timely care decisions.
This role offers meaningful, person-centred work with access to specialist support, supervision, training and ongoing development.
