Job summary
We are currently looking for an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our HDU / Recovery team here at The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide level 2 critical care of patients undergoing invasive procedures admitted to the hospital as well as patients admitted via the medical ward. The successful nurse will also provide level 3 critical care as required and provide support to the wards via the Outreach Service. In addition to this you will provide post anaesthetic care to surgical patients within the Theatre Recovery Room.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an assistant psychology post to work with the Lancashire and South Cumbria Early Intervention in Psychosis service, specifically to support clinicians in the delivery of evidence based interventions, including Psychosocial Interventions (PSI) and Behavioural Family Therapy for service users experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis or At Risk Mental State (ARMS).
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual, with an interest in working with people with psychosis or at risk mental states. You will be working as part of a team of clinical psychologists and cognitive behavioural therapists, primarily supporting the delivery of psychosocial and family interventions in community teams. Main duties will include supporting the delivery and evaluation of interventions, attending group supervision, MDT case discussions, literature searching and audit work.
You will be joining a dynamic and busy team with a range of psychologists and CBT therapists, working alongside an MDT of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, STR workers and peer support workers.
Clinical supervision is integral to this post and to the service. It affords an excellent opportunity for the post holder to develop their skills and knowledge in PSI, family interventions and CBT for psychosis and ARMS.
Main duties of the job
As an assistant psychologist you will be supporting the delivery of family intervention and PSI work for service users experiencing a first episode of psychosis or an at risk mental state.
The successful candidates will work with service users predominantly who have experienced an episode of psychosis, or who are thought to be at risk of developing psychosis.
Supervision is an integral part of this role and you will be supported with regular access to supervision by a consistent colleague in the team.
It is desirable to have an interest in working with people experiencing psychosis and at risk mental states.

Job summary
The Adult Mental Health CMHT's are looking to recruit a full time Band 8c Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
The successful candidate will:
- Be compassionate in meeting the needs of clients, their carers and families.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to less experienced colleagues within the designated psychology service and to other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Undertake formal research as a major part of the job and act as field supervisor to doctorate trainees.
- Lead continual service improvement within own area.
Main duties of the job
- Implements a range of highly specialist psychological therapies for individual clients with complex mental health difficulties, adjusting and refining psychological formulations as required.
- Undertakes highly skilled evaluations and assessments, formulates care plans and makes decisions about treatment options including supporting other clinical staff to create appropriate therapy care plans and decision making where referral on is appropriate, including liaising with other services to ensure timely handover.
- Provides highly specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other staff contributing directly to client's diagnosis, formulation and intervention plan.

The South Cumbria team is one of our local MDTs and are currently looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join them. Job summary
We are looking for high-performing individuals to join our existing team of Acute Medicine Consultants at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. There are currently seventeen Acute Medicine Consultants and Specialists who are supported by a wider team of consultant colleagues from other specialties to manage patients within our service.
Candidates are required to have MBBS or an equivalent primary medical qualification, full MRCP qualification and a CCT or CESR in Acute Medicine. We will consider candidates with a CCT or CESR in General Medicine, providing they can show sufficient experience in Acute Medicine at consultant-level.
The Acute Medicine department includes an Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Short Stay ward as well as a Same Day Emergency Care Unit (SDEC) and Medical Receiving Unit (MRU). The Acute Medicine team is made up of 17 Consultants and Specialists who are supported by consultant colleagues from other departments to deliver care across our Acute Medicine and Short Stay areas. Opportunities for teaching are available in our simulation suite and clinical skills area. Other areas of special interest are encouraged.
The standard job plan is 10PA but less-than-full-time working is welcomed. The breakdown of job plans will be agreed with the successful candidates, using a standardised tool to ensure parity between colleagues.
This department embraces flexible working, and candidates are encouraged to approach the leadership team to enquire further.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
The post attracts 10 PAs, including 1.5 core SPA in the expectation that career-grade medical staff will undertake additional roles as part of their normal agreed job plan. The appointee will have responsibilities across the department, but there will be opportunities to develop subspecialty interests depending on experience and service needs.
Clinical
Responsibilities include ward rounds of our footprint of 94 inpatient beds, assessment of new and follow up patients presenting to same day emergency care (SDEC) and full participation in an acute medicine rota covering 0800-1600 and 1600-2100 shifts. Weekend ward rounds are included on a 1-in-6 basis (WTE). The role generates a degree of administrational work. The appointee will be expected to respond to results appropriately and liaise with other teams as required.
Clinical Governance
There is an active governance structure that includes a monthly morbidity and mortality meeting. As well as being expected to prepare cases to present in the meeting, the appointee will recognise and respond to risks and incidents using widely used reporting systems. They will investigate and respond to patient complaints in a courteous and timely manner. They will contribute to audit of departmental and hospital-wide standards as well as leading quality improvement projects to address concerns.
Management
The post holder will be accountable for clinical matters to the Clinical Service lead.

Job summary
We are looking for a dietitian to work in a PCN in Wolverhampton. This is a fixed-term maternity cover cover role. The dietitian has to work in-person.
We support and help dietitians become first contact dietitians (FCDs).
First Contact Dietitians are qualified autonomous clinical practitioners working in GP practices who can assess, diagnose, treat, and manage dietetic problems and undifferentiated conditions, and where appropriate, to discharge a person without a medical referral.
FCDs are a key multidisciplinary team member in primary care and support reducing GP workload. FCDs working in this role can be accessed directly by self-referral or staff in GP practices can direct patients to them to establish a rapid and accurate management plan to streamline pathways of care.
Main duties of the job
The dietitian will be a highly skilled, senior practitioner able to operate at an advanced level of clinical practice, with expert knowledge in the management of patients dietary issues and conditions. They will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) within the PCN.
The dietitian will provide person centred interventions for the patient from initial clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care within set patient groups. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the general practice MDT to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures, and provide dietetic leadership as required.
The role requires the dietitian to work in-practice, and work closely with a forward thinking and passionate multi-disciplinary team.

As a Band 7 Pharmacist, you will play a key role in the safe, efficient and patient-centred delivery of Outpatient Pharmacy Services.

In this role, you will support the Lead Pharmacy Technician and Lead Clinical Pharmacist in delivering a high-quality, patient-centred medicines management service within the locality. Key responsibilities include:
- Completing medicines reconciliation on admission.
- Supporting safe and timely discharge through effective medicines management.
- Providing patient counselling to ensure understanding and adherence.
- Coordinating the supply of medicines in line with clinical needs.
- Ensuring patients receive evidence-based pharmacological treatment, are involved in shared decision-making, and are regularly monitored for therapeutic response and potential side effects.

As the demand for pathology services increases, we are investing in our workforce, welcoming Histology Speciality grade professionals to join our growing team and bring fresh expertise and innovation to the department.
Applicants are invited to apply for a the specialty position in Cellular Pathology at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
These posts will complete a team of nine consultant histopathologists. The post is full-time, and applicants who, for personal reasons, are unable to work full time are also eligible to apply. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust, in consultation with consultant colleagues.
The post holder will be contracted to provide histopathology and non-gynaecological cytology services at Milton Keynes Hospital Foundation Trust, alongside colleagues in Cellular Pathology.

Main duties of the job
The post holder must be competent in cutting-up all benign cases and most of the complex cancers without consultant supervision. Independent cut up as well training and supervising training grade doctors and Biomedical Scientists in cut up are the main responsibilities of the job.
Independent reporting of benign cases (and other cases commensurate with competence and experience) is part of the main responsibilities; there will be appropriate Consultant oversight.
The post holder will be involved in the organisation of the rota of the department and opportunities will be available to learn about general laboratory management and administration.
The rota will assign the post holder to work with the SpRs in the department to share cutting up and reporting according to a regular timetable.
A digital pathology is available, and we are currently working on a home reporting project to be able to provide a hybrid approach to meet service needs
There is a departmental multi-headed microscope, which is used for Cellular Pathology Internal Quality Assurance and teaching / educational meetings.
The successful applicant may be expected to participate in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students (in association with the University of Buckingham) and to support colleagues undertaking these activities as part of his or her agreed job plan.

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Neonatal Follow-Up Service within Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB.
As an autonomous practitioner, you will provide expert assessment and intervention for infants with complex neonatal presentations, using highly specialised clinical reasoning skills to inform assessment, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning.
The role involves delivering advanced occupational therapy interventions and advice to infants, families, and carers, ensuring high-quality, family-centred care that supports the best possible developmental outcomes.
You will also play a key role in developing and delivering neonatal follow-up occupational therapy services across the Health Board, acting as a specialist resource and mentor for colleagues. Through teaching, supervision, and leadership, you will support the development of knowledge and skills in enhanced neonatal follow-up practice across multidisciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job
To independently manage their own daily complex caseload as part of a multidisciplinary team, triaging patients to reduce the impact on waiting lists; ensuring that patients are seen by the most appropriate healthcare professional.
To be responsible for the effective treatment and management of neonates accessing the Neonatal Follow-Up Pathway, including assessment, care planning and early intervention across a variety of community settings.
Be at the forefront of Occupational Therapy planning for the Neonatal Follow-Up within Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB.
To act as a highly specialist clinical resource, disseminating expert information and education to Occupational Therapy colleagues, the general public and other health care professionals, in both Primary, Secondary care and Community settings - with a particular focus on enhanced Neonatal Follow-Up and early intervention.
Lead and develops local and national networks with other teams providing similar services. Contributing to the wider professional network of Occupational Therapists working within Neonatal Follow-Up.
To be responsible for linking with relevant stakeholders as an expert resource.

Job summary
The post holder will be a senior member of Powys Learning Disabilities Services, providing a clinical lead to the community learning disability service. They will positively respond to requests from Team Members who need advice in the day to day management of learning disability clients
