Job summary
Maternity cover - 6 Sessions, Tuesday and Friday are required (flexible on other days)
GP maternity cover role at New Addington Group Practice, joining a friendly, well-supported team. You'll work alongside experienced pharmacists, with on-site Medical Directors and a Clinical Lead available for support, plus regular team meetings. Low visiting requests and very low paperwork mean more time for patient care.
You'll also have the option to work sessions at our new New Addington Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). A great chance to join a supportive team within Bourne Health, at a site investing in new ways of delivering care.
The postholder will have an opportunity to take part in leading on key disease areas (monitoring trends in the Quality and Outcomes Framework, treatment, staff training and prescribing) and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse, patient list (practice-based commissioning, patient participation and health promotion).
Closely supported by the practice clinical and management teams, the postholder will act as one of the GPs within the practice working alongside the practice team but will also be part of a larger multisite clinical team.

Main duties of the job
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake clinical sessions. A clinical session is normally composed of face-to-face appointments together with telephone appointments, followed by a variety of duties including queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, actioning test results, medical reports, and examinations (e.g. Insurance Companies) on behalf of the Practice. The above duties should be performed in a timely manner. Appointments will be 10 minutes duration.

- Record clear and contemporaneous I.T. based consultation notes to agreed standards;

- Compile and issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible);
- In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
- Other responsibilities with the Practice:
- Engaging in appropriate lifelong educational and audit activity to maintain clinical competence and performance, including the completion of objectives agreed by you and the practice, in an annual Personal Development Plan. Your Personal Development Plan must be in line with the Practice Development Plan.
- Actively participating in the training and development of nurses, medical students, and GP trainees in the practice.
- Supporting the practice staff and responding to requests for advice and assistance from the practice reception, secretarial and nursing staff.
- Attend prescribing, palliative care, clinical and practice meetings.
- You will be expected to take part in clinical meetings, be prepared to chair these and present clinical topics as required for the maintenance of educational standards and high-quality care. You will receive feedback from the partners via peer review and to act upon recommendations and demonstrate change
- Provide additional enhanced services to the practices that meet the needs of the practices patient population and maximise the income streams to the practice
- Undertake additional training where necessary to provide these enhanced services
- You are required to actively participate in Practice Based Commissioning - this will include reducing first outpatient attendances, demand management, monitoring of activity including peer review and data validation
- Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g., prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety, annual QOF Assessment of the Practice.
- Meet all tight timescales/deadlines for audits and written returns to ensure that the Practice meets quality standards and receives the designated funding (e.g., Locally Commissioned Services returns, annual QOF audit etc.)

Post holders must maintain the confidentiality of information about patients, staff, and other health service business in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998. Flexible Working

Due to the promotion of the current post holder, an opportunity has arisen to join Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) as our Principal Clinical and Professional Lead for Speech and Language Therapy.
This is an exciting time to join CFHD as we continue to transform how we support children, young people and families across Devon and Torbay. Over the last eighteen months we have worked alongside Better Communication CIC and implemented the Balanced System approach, strengthening our graduated response and improving outcomes for children and young people. We introduced Easy Access Drop-In Clinics for pre-school children and established a Link Therapist model supporting every school across Devon and Torbay. As we continue our programme of service development, we are at the beginning of the recruitment, onboarding and implementation of Experts at Hand.
This is a senior leadership position within CFHD. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Operation Manager to lead the Speech, Language and Communication pathway, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective services for children, young people and families across Devon and Torbay.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will play a key role in shaping the future direction of Speech and Language Therapy services, working collaboratively with colleagues across health, education, social care and the voluntary sector to deliver integrated care and improve outcomes for children and young people.
The successful candidate will be supported by the Head of Service for Nursing and Therapies as well as the Clinical Director for CFHD, the Associate Clinical Directors for Allied Health Professionals and the Experts at Hand Service Lead. Peer support will be available from the Principal Clinical and Professional Leads for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
Alongside pathway leadership responsibilities, the post holder will provide professional and clinical leadership for Speech and Language Therapists working across other CFHD pathways.

Job summary
We are seeking a friendly enthusiastic salaried GP to join our friendly practice. This position is available due to the reduction in sessions of our long standing senior partner in July 2027 and we wish to give ourselves plenty of time to find the right candidate.
We have a patient list size of 8100 in rural Oxfordshire, Main site at Bloxham with branch surgery at Hook Norton.
We have a full compliment of clinical staff who work closely together to support the practice needs.
Main duties of the job
We do not operate total triage at the practice. Our focus is to accommodate our patients on a daily basis with the options of either a face to face appointment or a telephone consultation depending on which option a patient has chosen.
We have open sessions in the morning with pre-booked appointments in the afternoon.
We have 15 slots in the morning and 12 slots in the afternoon.
You will be supported by a full compliment of nursing to support GP's over both sites. The team consists of 3 nurses, 2 health care assistants and 1 phlebotomist who is trained to do paediatric bloods.
You will be required to work at our branch surgery which is approximately 5 miles away from our main surgery site.

We are currently seeking an experienced GP Plus Practitioner, at Band 6 to work via a Bank Contract, based in Stevenage for our Primary Care Mental Health Service. You will be joining our Temporary Staffing Team within HPFT - Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
The role of the GP Plus Practitioner will be to work across the interface between Primary Care and Mental Health Services to work alongside the service manager(s) to facilitate mental health assessment in primary care and support GPs about decision making in relation to secondary care referrals, support transition of service users from the care of secondary mental health services back to Primary Care and to facilitate re-access where appropriate.
The post holder will do this by providing consultation, support, education and problem-solving approaches to the Local Primary Care Teams particularly in the area of assessment and management of mental health problems in adults of working age.
HPFT provides services for service users with mental health, learning disability and children's and adolescent mental health problems. The neonatal service is one of the busiest in the country with 1700 admissions per year, providing 4000 intensive care days and a further 4000 high dependency care days per year. Our St James’s NNU where this job is based has 18 cots with a stabilisation space for babies unexpectedly requiring intensive care. Babies requiring intensive care are transferred to the LGI unit which cares for the full range of medical, surgical and cardiac neonatal intensive care. There is a fully integrated specialist neonatal surgical service with joint care provided by medical and surgical consultants in the intensive and high dependency areas. The service is also supported by a comprehensive AHP team. The Neonatal Service is also very active in its participation in research and is part of a number of large national trials. Are you a compassionate phlebotomist? Our Weymouth and Portland Community Team based at Weymouth Community Hospital are looking for a Community Phlebotomist to join their experienced team.
As the Community Phlebotomist you will support the DN and Anticoagulation teams and housebound patients with their venepuncture requirements. You will be able to work autonomously and manage your own workload (with support). You will be expected to visit patients in their own homes to take required bloods tests and deliver them back to the collection points in a timely manner.
The Community Phlebotomist is a part time role of 24 hours per week, 4 days a week, Monday to Friday. Job summary
The successful candidate will work in our pharmacy hub across all of our established sites, offering exposure to enhanced services and modern models of care delivery.
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Pharmacist with prescribing qualifications, preferably with Chronic care or minor illness experience, to join our Practice to work closely with our nurses and GPs.
The appointed Pharmacist would be part of a wider pharmacy team working with our associate practices within a Hub model.

Main duties of the job
As the role will develop the successful candidate will take responsibility for areas of Chronic Disease Management and undertake Clinical Medication Reviews, proactively manage patients with complex poly-pharmacy needs. The role would also entail providing primary support to GP staff with regards to prescriptions (this includes repeat prescribing), medication queries, complex clinical queries - please see full job description. There will also be training to manage low-level investigation results following strict protocol and supervision.
We will look to provide support to develop and train the candidate to further their skills in their clinical interests. The Pharmacist would have an allocated Lead Pharmacist and GP Partner to mentor, support and guide them.

The North London NHS Foundation Trust seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, part-time old age consultant psychiatrist to the Enfield Older Adult Services, working in the newly established older people's home treatment team covering the northern boroughs of the Trust (Barnet, Enfield and Haringey). Main duties of the job
General Expectations of a Consultant Psychiatrist employed with North London NHS Foundation Trust include
o To work within the MDT promoting respect for all professional groups and focusing upon coherent and integrated teamwork.
o To be Section 12(2) approved and have approved clinician status and participate in the Trust-wide Section 12 daytime rota.
o To provide second opinions for consultant colleagues if requested.
o To keep up with administration and note-keeping on the electronic patient record system in a timely manner, including letters to GPs, Dialog+ and risk assessments.
o To assist with Serious Incident investigations and complaints if requested.
o To keep up to date with mandatory training.
