A 6.5 PA Consultant opportunity has arisen to join our team at Ipswich Hospital in the Child Health CDG.
We are inviting applications for a Consultant in Acute Paediatrics with any specialist interest welcome. Applicants will have completed CCT or equivalent (Portfolio Pathway) and must be on the Specialist Register or due to have completed with 6 months.
Main duties of the job
All consultants in the department have a continuing and individual responsibility for the care of patients in their charge and a general responsibility to provide, in conjunction with their colleagues, an effective Service to meet the needs of the local population, within the resources available.
The post-holder will:

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the Consultant of the week rota according to departmental requirements currently on a 1:12 basis. There is usually one Consultant on call, covering general paediatrics in the morning and general paediatrics and neonates in the afternoon and an additional consultant on call for neonates in the morning.The successful candidate will be expected to participate in weekend and night on call cover. The successful candidate will be expected to share outpatient responsibilities with a minimum of 3 paediatric clinics a week, depending on other commitments. Further discussion re exact composition of the role can be clarified and discussed with the Clinical Lead prior to application and will be reviewed in line with the prior experience of the appointee. This will be formally accepted and reviewed as part of the Job Planning process of the trust.

Main duties of the job
Job Purpose
1. Provide clinical expertise, acting as first-contact physiotherapist and making decisions about the best course of action for patients' care (including in relation to undifferentiated conditions). This will involve seeing patients, without prior contact with their GP, in order to establish a rapid and accurate diagnosis and management plan.
2. Deliver programmes of supported patient self-management, in ways that facilitate behavioural change, optimise individuals' physical activity, mobility, fulfilment of personal goals and independence, and that minimise the need for pharmacological interventions.
3. To request particular diagnostic tests such as x-rays and blood tests in line with agreed management pathways, and interpret and act on results to aid diagnosis and the management plans of patients.

We are seeking a motivated Band 5 or Band 6 Registered Nurse to join our expanding Single Neighbourhood Team within the PCN. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes Paramedics, Clinical Pharmacists, ANPs, and Care Coordinators, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our frailty cohort, including palliative care patients, housebound individuals, and those living with frailty. You will contribute to the delivery of Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments (CGAs) and work with GPs and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate ongoing care and treatment.
The role also involves delivering a range of nurse-led clinics and housebound and care home visits, including vaccinations and, where appropriately trained, procedures such as FeNO testing, ECGs, and ear irrigation etc.

The Neonatal Unit at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is a Level 1 Unit with 12 cots. We provide short term intensive care, high dependency care and special care for sick and preterm infants from 30 weeks gestation (multiples from 32 weeks). Orthopaedic Clinical Nurse Specialist (22.5 per week. Fixed term contract for 12 months (opportunities may be available to work additional hours on the orthopaedic ward beyond the contracted 22.5 hours, depending on service need)
UCLH (University College London Hospitals) Foundation Trust and Whittington Health NHS Trust work in partnership to provide elective orthopaedic services within North Central London (NCL). In 2021, the Trusts collaborated to create the Elective Orthopaedic Centre at Grafton Way.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) you will be based at the Grafton Way Building (GWB) at UCLH and assist in providing specialist care for patients undergoing elective orthopaedic surgery with the aim of ensuring a seamless transition of care between UCLH and the Whittington Hospital.
We are looking for an experienced orthopaedic nurse with a commitment to enhanced recovery and excellent surgical care to join the orthopaedic department as an Orthopaedic Clinical Nurse Specialist. This role will join the established CNS team and contribute to the comprehensive, world class service we provide to our patients in their peri and postoperative journey.
You will work closely as part of the multidisciplinary team with our consultants, ward nurses and allied health professionals to provide world class care, reduce length of stay, enhance patient experience, and ensure a supportive discharge process.
Main duties of the job
You will follow a patients journey from beginning to end and support in the pre-operation process by taking an active part in our patient education, Surgical School. In addition, you will review inpatients and take part in the daily ward rounds. You will also review patients on discharge with a telephone follow up clinic, using your clinical skills to assess if further intervention is required.
You will help to run the Virtual Arthroplasty Clinic (VAR) which reviews patients at certain intervals post operatively. You will be expected to review x-rays and interpret Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) data. We are keen to develop staff to enhance their skills and would look to develop you in this role.
You will work closely with our Trauma CNS and trauma MDT and provide support cover when required.
Clinical responsibilities

We are currently a two site practice based in a beautiful part of West Yorkshire and the successful candidate will be required to work across both of our sites. The surgery is extremely well-established, friendly, supportive and inclusive. We have a growing practice size of approximately 16,500 patients currently based over the two sites which are located within ten minutes of each other.

North and South GP Integrated Mental Heath Services (IMHS) are seeking an enthusiastic Psychiatric Nurse to join the team.

As the Psychiatric Nurse, you will assist the service users within their Primary Care Network (PCN). Alsowill actively contribute to building and sustaining relationships within the local PCN.
This engagement extends to regular participation in Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings (MDTs), including medication meetings, pathways forums, GP meetings and local CMHRS meetings. Additionally, MHPs supervise Community Connectors (CCs), and provide caseload management supervision for additional roles (e.g. LXP, trainee MHWP), ensuring effective collaboration and optimal service user care.
Subject to reasonable adjustments in respect of any disability, candidates must possess a valid driving licence and be able to drive and have the unrestricted use of a car or motorcycle for work at all times including community based work.
Main duties of the job
- upporting the Mental Health Practitioner and Clinical Lead with reviewing and allocating new referrals to team members
- Assessing the mental health of patients in initial appointments and subsequent follow ups
- Offering a holistic assessment and treatment plan in collaboration with the patients, and as needed, carers and other professionals involved in their care
- Work with partnership professionals such as GPs, social care, housing and community connectors to create plans to address the needs of your patients. This includes initiating referrals (e.g. to Adult Social Care, to the VSCE employment support service etc.)
- Offer brief interventions to the patients you see, within the 4 appointments, as per the short-term model of the team. These interventions may include behavioural activation, coping skills for anxiety and low mood and emotional regulation skills. - To work within a model of recovery, early intervention and solution focussed to empower patients to lead their own recovery and avoid dependence on mental health services alone

- As needed, present complex cases to the wider MDT, through Pathways Forum, to seek support from colleagues within the Complex Needs team, Talking Therapies and the psychology team.

Main duties of the job
Provide general medical services for the practice population to a high standard, including day-to-day activities such as surgery consultations, telephone consultations and home visits and appropriate administration to ensure accurate records, patient continuity and quality of care.
Comply with the requirements of the practices General Medical Services/Personal Medical Services GMS contract, Enhanced Services contracts, educational/training delivery contracts and private contracts.
Adhere to the GMC's Principles of Good Medical Practice.

It has excellent transport links and is by car less than 1 hour from Chester and just over 1 hour from Liverpool. We are privileged to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country.
We are a friendly collaborative team of 7 GP's, 4 practice nurses, 1 advanced nurse practitioner, 1 advanced paramedic practitioner, 1 healthcare assistant, phlebotomists and an excellent supportive admin team who pull together to deliver General Medical Services to our 9800 patients. We are actively involved in the Conwy West Collaborative.

Come and join our fantastic Eating Disorder Service! This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in community Eating Disorders.
You will be supported by a highly experienced Psychologist and other members of the team.
We are a community based service, supporting people to deal with the impact of an eating disorder (ED). The Bolton team is developing and works closely with the local area and the wider Cheshire and Wirral Partnership locality.
On-going continuing professional development is not only supported but encouraged with practitioners supported to develop their own interests within eating disorders.
This post is part time 22.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
To provide psychological interventions to people who have an ED. The post involves working in the community and will require occasional travel across all sites.We are looking for a confident, friendly individual who has experience of working with people with an ED or a passion to work with this client group and the drive to support them in managing their difficulties. You will be required to provide psychological assessment and interventions. The successful candidate will have experience in working within a multidisciplinary setting . They will have experience in delivering individual therapy that is adapted to the needs of people with an ED, and helping non-psychology team members work with people who have experienced an ED through consultation and joint working.

The Clinical Pharmacist will be part of a busy and proactive team working alongside clinical and non-clinical colleagues to innovate and progress the clinical pharmacy service, enhancing patient care and outcomes.
The successful candidate will participate in and support the GP's medicines optimisation to deliver change for the benefit of patients and/or the organisation.
You will be a key member of the senior clinical team being proactive in providing safer prescribing, providing expertise in clinical medicines advice, while addressing both public and social care needs of patients in their care.
The working hours for this post are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working pattern to be agreed.
Main duties of the job
- Provide support to other clinicians with regards to prescription and medication queries/repeat prescriptions, and will demonstrate clinical reasoning and critical thinking, as well as the undertaking of comprehensive structured medication reviews and assessing/processing repeat prescription requests.
- Provide advice, care and medicines management for patients either via telephone/ video or face to face.
- Act as a positive role model supporting junior staff whist offering the ability to work flexibly between urgent care and primary care to provide safe, clinical and expert care.
- Undertake clinical medication reviews to proactively manage patients with complex polypharmacy.
- Ensure that services integrate with community and hospital pharmacy to help improve patient outcomes, ensure better access to healthcare and help manage workload.
- Lead on the development of innovation bids, new services or a new mode of service delivery to meet the demands of the changing healthcare environment.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide safe, effective and patient-centred general medical services as part of our multidisciplinary team.
The role will include managing a varied clinical workload and providing care for patients with acute, urgent and ongoing health needs. You will undertake face-to-face, telephone and other appropriate consultations, assessing, diagnosing and managing patients across the full range of general practice.
An important part of the role will be supporting same-day care. This will include seeing patients with acute problems and acting as the clinical triaging GP for Anima Total Triage during allocated sessions. You will review patient requests, assess clinical need and urgency, and ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate clinician or service.
Alongside acute care, there will be opportunities to support patients with long-term conditions and complex health needs through our New Models of Care work. This focuses on patients who are frail, living with complex or multiple conditions, approaching the end of life or making frequent use of secondary care.
You will work closely with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, healthcare assistants and other professionals to provide coordinated, proactive and patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate UKCP-registered Family and Systemic Psychotherapist (Band 7) to join the CAMHS Inpatient Team on a full-time (1.0 WTE) basis.
You will be committed to family-focused practice, ensuring families' needs and experiences remain central throughout hospital admissions. The role involves delivering family and systemic interventions for children and young people requiring inpatient care, and working closely with the COAST team, which provides alternatives to admission for those experiencing acute mental health difficulties.
You will join a skilled multidisciplinary team providing integrated, family-led care across Sussex. Drawing on a range of systemic psychotherapy approaches, you will contribute to assessment, formulation and the delivery of timely, targeted interventions, supporting young people and families to feel heard, involved and supported in their recovery from the outset.
