An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Band 7 Clinical Team Lead to head up our new Female Enhanced Care Unit (ECU ). This is a key leadership role where you will support a skilled multidisciplinary team and play an important part in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to women with complex mental health needs as part of our new women's pathway.
Our Female ECU will provide specialist care for women experiencing acute and complex mental health. The unit supports patients who require enhanced engagement, intensive therapeutic input, and a structured environment to support recovery.
Main duties of the job
We are committed to providing care that is safe, trauma-informed, and person-centred, recognising the unique needs of women within mental health services.
As Clinical Team Lead, you will be pivotal in the recruitment, selection and development of your clinical team.
As a new service, the drivers will balance a therapeutic and medical model and you will support and influence the implementation, training and delivery of this.
You will clinically and operationally lead the new ECU team.As part of this role you will join the acute and urgent care leadership team, with access to senior and peer support from mental health inpatient services and the wider Mental Health division -unplanned care.
As part of the inpatient leadership team, there is an expectation to provide senior Band 7 duty cover on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holiday Mondays across the wider unplanned adult and older adult inpatient services. This currently equates to approximately one in every 15 weekends (around four weekends per year), with time off in lieu taken during the week. This role is supported by the weekend multidisciplinary team (MDT), which provides cover for all inpatient areas to facilitate urgent MDT discussions. The service is led by the Band 7 on duty alongside an inpatient Responsible Clinician (RC) or Approved Clinician (AC), both operating on a rota basis.

- Undertake ongoing mental health risk assessments, including risks relating to self-harm, suicide, aggression, absconding, vulnerability, delirium/dementia, cognitive impairment and emotional distress.
- Deliver direct therapeutic engagement to patients requiring enhanced support, one-to-one observation or behavioural intervention.
- Support patients experiencing psychological trauma, distress, confusion, agitation or challenging behaviour using trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation skills.

The post holder will support the provision of the Autism Team to autistic individuals and complex healthcare needs across Lancashire and South Cumbria. Your role will be to ensure that the person's communication needs are assessed and considered. You will be a registered Speech and Language Therapist who will undertake appropriately delegated work to support the care and treatment of autistic adults within the community and inpatient settings. You will 30 hours between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is required to meet the needs of the team and the wider network. The specific hours are open to discussion however you will be require to work the same days at the team core meetings, currently these are a Tuesday and Thursday but may change.
The post holder shall support the delivery of the Specialist Autism Service team model through the provision of routine speech and language therapy assessment and interventions in order to maintain, restore or create a match beneficial to the individual between the abilities of the person, and the demands of the environment/ communication culture around them.

The Research Nurse is an independent practitioner who is supported by other clinical experts, relevant to specific research studies, and who reports and is responsible to the Director of Research and Chief Nursing Officer respectively.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the management, co-ordination and facilitation for a defined group of concurrent research studies, from set up to archiving, ensuring that agreed patient recruitment targets are safely achieved. This will involve direct patient contact in the recruitment, education and monitoring of patients taking part in research studies and the collection and documentation of accurate data and will include clinical procedures.

Pelvic Health experience would be advantageous but an MSK physiotherapist with enthusiasm and drive to develop within the speciality of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy would be considered. Job summary
This post is open to employees of the five LAASP organisations. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Support Secretary to join our secretarial team within the Respiratoryteam. The post requires an individual who is resilient and adaptable to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
You as a successful candidate will be working alongside an established team of Band 4 Medical Secretaries. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the secretarial team in ensuring work is completed in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for typing clinic letters, chasing results and providing support for the secretaries and service.
You should have good communication and organisational skills, be well-organised, flexible in approach and able to use your own initiative in prioritising your workload.
Extensive knowledge of medical terminology is essential, as are audio typing skills.
A key aspect of the role involves daily communication with patients, consultants, nurses and other health and care professionals and therefore the post holder must have exceptional non-verbal and verbal skills.
The available post is permanent 22.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
To produce accurate correspondence in a timely manner, typing from audio dictation.
*Provide day to day support to the PA/Medical Secretary team.
*Updating and inputting of patient information on to the appropriate systems and spreadsheet
*To book, reschedule and cancel appointments/clinics.
*Monitor clinic capacity

As a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker on a busy gastroenterology ward, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a fast-paced acute environment. Ward 16 is a 24 bedded acute gastroenterology ward providing assessment, stabilisation, and ongoing care for patients admitted with acute and often complex medical needs. Band 3 CSWs are essential to maintaining safe, effective and responsive care by carrying out delegated clinical tasks and supporting the multidisciplinary team.

The Leeds Sexual Health Service are looking for a forward thinking, innovative enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our lively and friendly team. The post holder will be required to hold, be in the process of attaining, or demonstrate a willingness to obtain the Care Certificate.

We use an electronic patient record so IT skills are essential.
The post holder will be required to move across sites and be able to travel independently to other bases during shifts. Our main hub is at the Beeston Hill Medical Centre in South Leeds and our spoke site clinics are in Armley, Beeston, Chapeltown, Leeds City Centre and Seacroft.
The post is full time permanent covering Monday to Saturday. The service operates 8am-8pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm Friday and 9am-1pm Saturdays. The successful candidates working pattern will incorporate different shift types.
