You will have completed the PWP Supervision Training. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of how anxiety and depression present in Primary Care. Main duties of the job
- Using Microsoft Office application, produce clinical correspondences with audio transcription. To include communication to General Practitioners and other health professionals, clinical letters, notes, and discharge summaries.

- Ensure all queries from colleagues and external organisations are dealt with quickly and effectively in the department, producing file notes as necessary.

The Leeds Sexual Health Service are looking for a forward thinking, innovative enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our lively and friendly team. The post holder will be required to hold, be in the process of attaining, or demonstrate a willingness to obtain the Care Certificate.

The post is full time permanent covering Monday to Saturday. The service operates 8am-8pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm Friday and 9am-1pm Saturdays. The successful candidates working pattern will incorporate different shift types.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Advanced Biomedical Scientist to join the Cellular Pathology Department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This senior BMS role sits within a busy, highly specialised diagnostic service and involves shared leadership of the main laboratory section. Responsibilities span the histology pathway from embedding through to H&E quality control and case sendout, ensuring the smooth delivery of diagnostic specimens throughout the laboratory process. Working closely with a second Advanced Biomedical Scientist, you will coordinate laboratory operations, lead staff within the section, manage workflow and resources, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality diagnostic service that supports safe and timely patient care. Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will join an established senior team comprising five other Advanced Biomedical Scientists, with leadership responsibilities across the main laboratory, reception and dissection, further work, and molecular diagnostics.

The post is primarily based at St James's University Hospital, Leeds, and plays an important role within the Trust's wider Pathology service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term, full time position as a Medical Laboratory Assistant / Healthcare Science Assistant, as part of the ED Opt Out Project.
You will support the Biomedical Scientists and microbiology team in providing a clinical technical service to achieve efficient and effective patient care. Working as part of a team, to carry out the receipt, booking-in, processing and testing of specimens to provide a diagnostic microbiology service. Main duties of the job
- To work in an effective and efficient way following the appropriate Trust and directorate policies, procedures and guidelines including the departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepares and processes patient specimens.
- Prepares blood samples for immunoassay testing.

- Selects single colonies and inoculates test cards for processing through the VITEK2 identification machine.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to be a Family Nurse in Tameside. You will deliver the Family Nurse Partnership programme, which has evidence based outcomes, to a caseload of young vulnerable parents and their babies.
We are seeking a flexible, warm and innovative Family Nurse for our established Family Nurse team. You will need to be available to complete the FNP Family Nurse training programme if not already completed and be highly motivated with a good understanding of infant psychology, building therapeutic and empowering relationships, safeguarding children, child development, and you will enjoy working with this age group of parent.
Family Nurse Partnership is well embedded within the local early help offer and is in its 10th year of delivering the programme to the young parents in the borough. Our multi-agency approach to parent-infant mental health and our early attachment service are already highly regarded, and as a Family Nurse you will work closely with these and other services.
This post requires the ability to travel independently and efficiently across multiple community sites to meet the operational requirements of the role.
Main duties of the job
The Family Nurse role is responsible for delivering the FNP intensive and preventive home visiting service to vulnerable and hard to reach young woman who are expecting their first baby. The post holder will be required to develop high level generalist and specialist skills to work within the clinical methods of the service delivery. Family Nurses will be expected to develop therapeutic relationships with clients and work intensively within complex family situations to achieve the expected outcomes. This is a specialist role

Our aim is to deliver high quality care to improve health & wellbeing and to support our patients to remain living at home. The post holder will work within clearly defined boundaries of their associate practitioner competencies and carry out specific delegated clinical tasks and responsibilities as defined by the advanced clinical practitioner. The assistant practitioner will be assessed as proficient to work at a higher competency than expected of a band 3 health care worker, they will work in partnerships with team members, service uses, general practice, multidisciplinary teams and private/voluntary agencies. The post holder will be expected to work autonomously in a variety of setting including the patient's own home. Being able to work alone and travel in a rural area is essential. Main duties of the job
To carry own caseload of patients, as delegated by the Team Leads or senior clinicians on a daily basis.
Communicate with patients and their carers using tact, diplomacy, empathy and reassurance during potentially difficult or stressful situations or where there may be barriers to understanding, i.e. confusion, physical impairment, cognitive failure or language barrier.
Referral of patients to internal/external clinical and non-clinical team and/or other agencies.
Assist with effective and timely discharge planning for patients returning home from Hospital or to prevent hospital admission.
To be responsible for organising own caseload, ensuring all allocated tasks and visits are completed in discussion with the Registered health Professionals/ team lead.
Report untoward incidents and risks according to Trust/employer policies and procedures and participate in incident and complaint investigations as required
Identify potential risks for all staff and patients and adhere to relevant incident reporting procedures taking appropriate action/advice as needed.
To undertake administrative duties including answering telephones, taking messages, processing referrals and booking appointments as appropriate and maintain departmental paperwork as required.
