NICU HCSW
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking, dynamic and motivated HCSW with a passion to work with babies and their families to join our CQC Outstanding rated team.
Shifts are 07:30-20:00 or 19:30 - 07:30. This will include fair rotation onto weekends, Bank holidays and night duties. You must be able to work a full range of shifts to apply for this post due to service needs.
Main duties of the job
To support the nursing team in the delivery of Neonatal care and family care across the whole of the Neonatal Service. This includes NICU and TCU when necessary. Please see Job description attachment for full details.

Job summary
St Helena Hospice is seeking a Senior Health Care Assistant, to work within the Hospice IPU.
This is a full time role although part time hours will be considered.
This is a fixed term role for 9 to 12 months
Main duties of the job
The Senior Healthcare Assistant will work independently, delivering elements of health and social care, undertaking clinical work which previously was within the remit of the registered nurse. The Senior Healthcare Assistant may transcend professional boundaries; they are accountable to themselves, their Line Manager and ultimately the patient.
The clinical support required will be an extension to the Assistant Nurse role involving;
Post bereavement appointments (also known as Collections)
Phlebotomy and cannulation
Moving and handling training of clinical staff
Wound care
The Senior Healthcare Assistant will be involved in the assessment and care of patients and will provide psychosocial support to patients and their families whose lives are impacted by illness, loss and grief.
They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) representing a clinical/psychosocial perspective and will work across all St Helena directorates as required. This will include working with external health, social care, and education, other professionals and voluntary organisations when required to support patients and families.

SWAGGA PCN
SWAGGA Primary Care Network (PCN) is a dynamic collaboration between fifteen practices across South Liverpool. We have a vision to improve patient care, tackle inequalities and provide outstanding support for our member practices. We plan to make a lasting impact upon the communities we serve and are developing ambitious plans for the future. As a result, we are looking for qualified GPs, to deliver a hybrid model of Hub based face to face clinics and home visits to support our practices. The post-holders main duty will be to conduct face to face appointments within a hub for our practices and home visits to undertake consultations with patients. The home visits will be face to face appointments, visiting patients in their own homes, triaged by the patients practice GP. To comply with ARRS funding criteria, the role will be embedded within the PCNs Core Network Practices and be fully integrated within the multi-disciplinary team delivering healthcare services to patients. It will also have access to other healthcare professionals, electronic live record systems of the PCNs Core Network Practices, as well as access to admin/office support and training and development as appropriate. It will also have access to appropriate clinical supervision and administrative support.
NB. There will be no Care Home or End of Life appointments as part of this role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who has completed their CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) and is seeking a dynamic and supportive work environment. As an ARRS funded qualified GP, you must not currently be employed in a substantive post within the SWAGGA PCN network, and you will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.

Job summary
The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Junior Clinical Fellow in critical care. They would commence 2nd November 2026 (Subject to pre-employment checks being completed) and finish on 30th April 2027 . This posts is not recognised for training by the Postgraduate Dean however the successful candidate will have teaching and training equivalent to those in training posts. This post is a fixed term contract, but extension may be agreed.
For the successful candidate this job will provide excellent exposure to Critical Care. The successful applicant will have a named Clinical Supervisor who will also provide career advice and support for onward career progression. There is a weekly ITU teaching program and other training opportunities are available within the Trust, which you will be encouraged to attend. Doctors not in training are also able to apply for study leave and associated expenses.
Duties involve day-to-day clinical management of patients on the 11-12 bedded adult Critical Care Unit which has 700 admissions a year, as well as supporting the Critical Care Outreach service. These appointments are to enable us to continue running a 9-person rota, with 7 of these posts in recognised training programmes. The Unit is fully covered by Consultant Intensivists in a dedicated Critical Care rota.

Main duties of the job
DUTIES OF POST
- Assessment & clinical management of critically ill patients both within the ICU and across the wider hospital who are referred for assessment, admission and on-going care.
This includes prompt review of referrals from ED or the ward teams at night as the Critical Care Outreach nurse service only operates 8am-8pm 7 days a week
- Timely discussion with senior supervising colleagues regarding appropriateness of admission, unexpected deterioration and suitability for discharge.
- Familiarity and competence at common procedures is expected (vascular access, chest drain insertion etc) but supervised training is also given for other procedures eg arteria line, central venous access, percutaneous tracheostomy. Airway support is provided by the on-call Anaesthetics team for ICU doctors without anaesthesia or airway skills.
- Direction, guidance, supervision & teaching of more junior ICU trainees including for practical procedures.
- Organisation of appropriately detailed patient hand-over both at shift changes including current clinical condition of patients under review outside of the ICU.
- Written and verbal handover to ward team for patients stepping down to ward care
- Updating of clinical records, electronic & paper data & audit systems including the ICU activity database
- Communication with families & relatives of patients to update them on patient progress.

Job summary
Calder & Ryburn PCN consist of four GP practices and have a combined patient list of over 43000 patients. We have grown as a collaborative PCN over the past four years and now have over 30 members of staff working across the PCN.
Calder & Ryburn PCN are looking for two self-motivated individuals to join our growing personalised care team. The team currently consists of care coordinators and social prescribing link workers who all work in GP practices across the PCN.

The West London NHS Trust (WLT) Mental Health Single Point of Access (MH SPA) and NHS111 Option 2 for Mental Health (NHS111*2) provides 24/7 access to mental health services, every day of the year. Both services support people in a mental health crisis and provide a telephone support line for service users, their families and wider support networks. This includes a triage, signposting and referral pathway to appropriate onward care, if indicated. NHS111*2 is a national initiative developed under the NHS Long Term Plan to improve access to crisis services. The key operational difference is that NHS111*2 is open to all ages, whereas MH SPA primarily supports adults aged 18 and over.

Main duties of the job
As a Crisis Care Practitioner, you will provide urgent mental health assessment and intervention for individuals contacting the service in crisis, whether for themselves or others.
The role involves:
- Managing complex and high risk triage calls, undertaking robust mental health and risk assessments in time-sensitive situations
- Completing face to face community assessments for patients requiring urgent in person review
- Formulating risk management and crisis plans to support safe and effective patient care
- Working autonomously to make clinical decisions within a fast paced environment
- Liaising with partner agencies including GP's, police, ambulance services, emergency departments and community mental health teams to coordinate safe care pathways
- Supporting and guiding junior staff with clinical decision making and risk formulation
- Managing referrals effectively to ensure patients access the most appropriate service and unnecessary hospital admissions are avoided
- Maintaining accurate, contemporaneous clinical documentation and records
- Contributing to service improvement and ongoing development of crisis pathways

Job summary
We are looking for health care support workers / assistants who are passionate about working with children and young people . The ideal candidate will be a keen team player with experience working with children in a hospital environment .
The position will involve working as part of our multidisciplinary team on our vibrant children's unit at Salisbury Hospital ensuring the delivery of high standards of care to young patients and their families. Our children's unit consists of Sarum Ward and Woodlands Day Assessment unit, all designed to create a bright and welcoming environment for children and young people. The ward has 16 in patient beds for children aged 0 - 16 years of age , providing specialised care for a range of specialities including general paediatrics , orthopaedics , ENT and general surgery.
Working as a health care support worker / assistant you will always work under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered nurse providing compassionate care to children and their families . Responsibilities within this role include basic clinical observations reporting any concerns to a trained nurse , daily ward cleaning tasks and supporting children with nutrition and hygiene needs .

Main duties of the job
Working under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered nurse , providing compassionate and high quality care to children young people and their families .
You will recognise your abilities and limitations of your competence to carry out only those tasks for which you are trained . As a member of the ward team you will support the other staff , act in the best interests of patients and treat everyone with respect .

Parking on site, working within the Immigration estate, challenging and fast paced environment, good induction and good pathways for career enhancement. Working in a team of 15 and working with a wide range of healthcare professionals.Hours
37.5 hours working 11.5 hour shift patterns, 7am-7:30pm working 3 days a week. Rolling shift pattern.
Flexible to do occasional night shifts when required.Salary
The salary ranges between £43,609- £49,175 per annum- depending on experience.
