An exciting opportunity has arisen for a community staff nurse at 37.5 hours per week, available to join our innovative community nursing teams across our neighbourhood services including the Out of Hours Neighbourhood Service.
The Community Nursing Teams of East Cheshire are leading the way in integrated working. Closer working relationships with colleagues in Therapies and Social Services have been formed, as part of working aligned to Care Communities with new programmes and projects being developed with other specialties, supporting multi-professional working.
Being part of our friendly and supportive teams is an opportunity to take forward the expanding role of community nursing within the multi-disciplinary neighbourhood teams to meet the long term condition agenda and the needs of our elderly population. Main duties of the job
To contribute and support the delivery of high standard of effective nursing care, as part of a nursing team, in support of and under the direction of a registered professional.
To be an autonomous practitioner who is responsible for the holistic assessment of both complex and simple care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care and delegation of care where appropriate to other members of the team.
To carry out assigned tasks, including direct nursing care and administrative duties as delegated by the nurse in charge ensuring that patients / clients receive safe, individualised and effective care which supports health & wellbeing and promotes self-care where appropriate and possible.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen on our Good Hope Hospital sites to appoint to a full time Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work within our dynamic and experienced acute Speech and Language therapy team on a permanent basis
This post will have a clinical focus on acute in-patient care across our general medical and elderly hospital wards on these hospital sites with some support also being provided to our off-site ward at the Norman Power centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing specialist with a clinical interest in acute care who is further wanting to advance and develop their skill set.
Main duties of the job
You will be welcomed into a large and supportive therapy team with excellent training and development opportunities as well as a robust supervision and appraisal system. You will have the opportunity to work alongside highly specialist staff and have access to regular videofluoroscopy & FEES clinics. The successful candidate will have suitable post graduate clinical experience, demonstrable interest in acute care, with competency in both communication and dysphagia management.

Banbury Cross Health Centre was launched in September 2019, following the merger of West Bar Surgery, Banbury Health Centre and Horsefair Surgery. Banbury Cross Health Centre is managed by Principal Medical Limited (PML), a not-for-profit organisation.

Job summary
Rising Brook Surgery is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the practice as a medical administrators (reception). As a member of frontline staff you will be the first point of contact for our service users and visitors. You will need to be non-judgmental with excellent communication and listening skills.
You must be able to deal objectively and professionally in a calm and approachable manner when liaising with service users, staff, healthcare professionals and outside agencies. Prioritising a busy workload, being a good team player and possessing the ability to deal with a wide range of clerical and administration duties in a busy environment is also required.
The role requires flexibility to meet the need of the practice. There may be occasions when additional hours are required to provide holidays and sickness cover. Hours to be worked flexibly between 7.45am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, with the addition of 7am start and 8pm finishes some evenings and weekend work with flu and covid clinic (seasonal).
The working hours would be 32.5 hours per weeks. The working pattern is:

Ward 2 is a busy 22 bed acute medical ward specialising in diabetic and endocrine medicine. Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our team working to deliver consultant led, efficient, safe, and patient centred care in Respiratory. We are keen to recruit a NHS locum Consultant with an interest in TB, asthma, EBUS and/or Bronchiectasis and in particular ILD.
We have a developed and mature ILD Pathway, supported with an experienced ILD nursing team, a dedicated ILD pharmacist and bi-weekly MDM meetings in collaboration with Guys and St Thomas Hospital (GSTT). As an organisation we are Teir 2 ready and are looking for a ILD consultant to take this forward.
Other interests that compliment those of the existing consultants would also be welcome.
The trust is highly regarded for the under and post graduate education it provides and has a state-of-the-art Simulation Suite. Facilities for flexible bronchoscopy and full lung function exist at both acute sites; interventional bronchoscopies and pleural procedures are performed at also at both sites. Due to maternity leave we have an exciting opportunity for a fixed term band 6 Deputy Ward Manager on Ward 5 Neuropsychiatry inpatient service, Harplands Hospital. This fixed term post is for 10 months starting from February 2027.
This post is an integral senior role within the ward supporting with the clinical leadership and management support to our team alongside the Ward Manager. On Ward 5 we provide evidence based, research led, person centred assessment, creating an innovative service. Working in partnership with patients and carers to maximise choice, independence and rehabilitation opportunities for adults with mental health needs as a result of a neurological disorder or brain injury.
You will need to be flexible and willing to work in an acute environment, where prompt assessment and decision making are necessary to facilitate safe and timely discharges from hospital. You will also need the ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) and with community providers.
This post will provide an opportunity to work within a Trust that is ambitious to perform well and has been told by the Care Quality Commission that it is the fastest improving Mental Health Trust in the Country.
Main duties of the job
The role of the deputy manager is to provide support and assistance to the ward manager in ensuring the effective management and running of the service. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RLDN)to join the Specialist Childrens Short Break Team at Dragon Square full time and part time hours avaialble.
The service provides overnight short breaks for children and young people with severe learning disabilities and other associated complex needs such as behaviours of concern and complex health needs.
The role involves working as part of a team of Registered nurses and Health Care Support workers in conjunction with the wider multi-agency team such as school, social workers, consultants, specialist nurses, community nurses and parents/carers to meet the needs of the children and young people and achieve positive outcomes for them, as well as supporting families and minimising the risk of family breakdown.
The role of the registered nurseis very diverse and varied and creates lots of opportunity for developing clinical skills.
It involves supporting the children and young people to meet their personal hygiene needs, diet and nutrition, communication, religious, cultural needs, health and wellbeing as well as social ,sensory needs and developing daily living skills and independence. There are lots of opportunities to support the children to have fun when they are on a short break.

This role forms part of the Quality Management Team for UHBW Paediatric Haematology, Oncology & BMT services. Main duties of the job
- Manage and oversee the UHBW Adult BMT & IEC and Paediatric Haematology, Oncology & BMT Quality Management Programme, ensuring that the programme meets all regulatory and accreditation requirements, while driving continual service development and improvement
- Maintain and revise a comprehensive Quality Management Plan designed to ensure the Programme meets regulatory and accreditation requirements, sets and delivers targets. Lead, develop, implement, maintain and monitor the Programme's Quality Management System, in order to deliver the aims and requirements of the Quality Management Plan. Lead on change controlled processes to update and reconfigure elements of the system and related wider practice in need of update.
- Schedule, plan, manage and document external inspections, audits and site visits pertinent to the specialties. Coordinate and execute CAPA plans for non-compliances revealed, collaborating with responsible parties to provide evidence to demonstrate that corrective actions have been completed and have been effective.
- Work with Clinical Leads and Patient Safety to identify, draft, manage and mitigate departmental risks, and maintain effective working Risk Registers on the Trust's risk management system.
- Protect patient confidentiality, adhering to all relevant, established guidelines and trust policies.
