The team provides health care and support to children and young people with complex health needs across a variety of settings within the community. The service provides care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so a willingness to work shifts, including night shifts, is essential.
You will be supported to learn clinical skills such as tracheostomy care, gastrostomy feeding, suction (etc) utilising a competency-based framework. This exciting opportunity has arisen in the children's team and we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced speech and language therapist with specialist skills in working with SLCN, social communication, speech sound disorders and DLD.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in reducing waiting times for children and young people accessing Speech and Language Therapy services. For the first 12 months, you will focus specifically on supporting the reduction of waiting lists through the delivery of initial assessments. This dedicated piece of work will contribute significantly to improving timely access to services for children and families across North Derbyshire.After the first 12 months, you will then provide a clinical service to children and young people with a range of communication difficulties in a variety of settings, including education settings, nurseries, clinics and clients' homes.
The role is 1.0 wte and covers the Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Area.

Main duties of the job
All our therapists work with children who have a wide range of speech, language, communication and eating and drinking needs. This post has an additional specialist area of interest in assessment and intervention of children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs.
The successful candidate will be a HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist and be mobile between locations.
They will be proficient in their abilities to deliver high-quality, evidence-based practice, with a proven ability to provide leadership and support within an SLT service.
You will work alongside a friendly team of SLTs, SLPs and SLTAs, with line management support from an SLT team leader, as well as having access to clinical supervision and relevant CPD opportunities.
You will have a commitment to providing a high standard of patient-focused care and be a strong team player.

Job summary
The Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service (MHCAS) is an innovative alternative to A&E for people in mental health crisis. The Service was recognised for Excellence in Mental Health at the UK NHS Parliamentary awards. The service covers the emergency mental health pathway for North Central London, this includes the boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.
We are looking for support workers with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care. The service provides an initial assessment of mental health needs. From this initial assessment there are a variety of pathways including referral to secondary services, crisis teams, crisis houses admissions, admissions to hospital and referrals to non-statutory services who offer specialists input. The service promotes community health and well-being and social inclusion.
Successful candidates will be expected to work a 7-day rota, as part of a 24/7 service, covering several different sites if needed. This will include night duties and unsocial hours on a long-day shift pattern.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Support Worker will be responsible for participating and assisting in the delivery of care for service users in MHCAS. This includes supporting carers, families and other professionals of those being cared for by the team during their assessment processes.
They will be expected to work a 7-day rota, as part of a 24/7 service, covering several different sites if needed. This will include night duties and unsocial hours on a long-day shift pattern.
They will carry out a range of clinical support tasks, including direct patient interactions, risk assessment under supervision from senior staff, and delivering care interventions as identified as part of the service user's care plan. This will include delivery when needed of PMVA (prevention and management of violence and aggression). They will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent, compassionate and sensitive care to people and their social network.
The focus of the role will be that of supporting people in acute mental health crisis, supporting carers and families in the same context and providing clinical assistance to registered and medicalstaff in order to ensure safe provision of care. The role will also include hands-on duties to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the clinicalenvironment and practical assistance to individual practitioners and doctors during the assessment including face to face review of service users and close observations.

Job summary
The post holder will be required to support the delivery of care currently in the form of New Models of Care, enabling the service to meet the London Wide service specification standards for Prison Healthcare.
The post holder will support the therapies team to ensure they work to an agreed operational policy and offer integrated triage, assessment and intervention to individuals within our prison settings who are presenting with mental health problems in line with the New Models of Care.
To provide a qualified specialist psychology service to patients under the care of the Mental Health team and Therapies Service within the Prison. The role includes providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy, at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. To provide supervision to unqualified psychology staff and to support senior staff to further develop the service. To utilise research skills for audit, policy, service development and research within the area served by the team/service.
Main duties of the job
Provide specialist psychological assessments using psychometric tests, self-reports, observations, and interviews. Formulate evidence-based treatment plans for complex mental health and behavioural needs across care settings. Deliver individual, family, and group interventions, refining formulations using multiple models.
Provide expert guidance and consultation to multidisciplinary teams, contributing to shared psychological frameworks and service-wide understanding. Conduct risk assessments, manage risk, and advise other staff on risk factors. Act as care coordinator under CPA when required, leading planning and reviews.
Deliver clinical supervision to junior psychologists, trainees, and MDT staff. Provide consultation, training, and teaching across pre/post-qualification programs, internal teams, and external agencies. Receive regular supervision from a senior clinical psychologist while pursuing agreed specialist professional development.
Communicate assessment, formulation, and treatment details in a skilled, sensitive manner to clients, families, and multidisciplinary networks, actively monitoring care progress.

The Islington Integrated Locality Therapies Team (IILTT) is a friendly and dynamic multidisciplinary community rehabilitation service supporting adults with neurological conditions and complex physical disabilities across Islington.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our team and work alongside the Lead Clinical Neuropsychologist. This varied role offers opportunities to undertake specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment, formulation and intervention, supporting individuals experiencing the emotional, cognitive, and behavioural impact of neurological conditions.
You will also contribute to neuropsychological assessments for patients referred by Consultant Neurologists under the care of the Whittington Hospital's Outpatient Neurology Department, gaining experience across a wide range of neurological presentations.
This is an excellent opportunity for psychologists wishing to develop specialist neuropsychology skills. The post provides regular specialist supervision and experience that supports progression towards the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN). We have a strong track record of supporting psychologists to successfully achieve this qualification.
You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team and a wider network of psychologists working in neuropsychology and community physical health services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment, formulation and intervention for adults with neurological conditions and complex physical disabilities within the Islington Integrated Locality Therapies (IILT) Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Team. We are seeking four enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioners to join our newly established Intensive Outreach Service (IOT) supporting adults with complex mental health This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new service delivering intensive, recovery-focused interventions to individuals who require enhanced support in the community.
The post holder will work as a Care Coordinator within a multidisciplinary team, managing a defined caseload and providing comprehensive assessment, care coordination, risk management and evidence-based interventions. Working closely with Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Primary Care and voluntary sector partners.
You will undertake holistic biopsychosocial assessments, develop and review care and crisis plans, coordinate support across multiple agencies and provide assertive outreach to individuals who may be difficult to engage. The role involves delivering interventions in a range of community settings, including service users' homes, supported accommodation and community venues. You will monitor mental and physical health, manage risk, support discharge planning and help prevent unnecessary hospital admissions
Using a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach, you will ensure interventions address the psychological, physical, social, cultural and spiritual needs of service users.
Main duties of the job
Act as Care Coordinator for a defined caseload of adults with complex mental health needs, providing assessment, care planning, care coordination and evaluation of person-centred interventions. Undertake comprehensive biopsychosocial, risk, mental capacity and safeguarding assessments, developing formulations that inform recovery-focused care. Develop, implement and review care plans, crisis plans, Dialog+ interventions and risk management plans in collaboration with service users, carers and partner agencies. Provide intensive outreach support in a range of community settings to promote engagement, recovery, independence and relapse prevention, reducing the need for hospital admission where appropriate. Deliver evidence-based interventions that address the physical, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs of service users. Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, primary care services and voluntary sector partners to ensure coordinated and effective care. Monitor mental and physical health needs, support medication management, evaluate outcomes and facilitate safe discharge planning and community reintegration. Respond effectively to mental health crises, safeguarding concerns and clinical risk.

- Assemble and dispense in-patient, outpatient and take home medication and to process controlled drug requisitions, following standard dispensary operating procedures. Competency based training will be given. Participate in the ward based medicines management service, assessing patients own medicines, and organising supplies.
- Support the Pharmacy Logistics Service in providing safe, effective and efficient pharmacy purchasing and distribution services.
- Working within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and be guided by professional good practice guidelines.
- Working as part of a team and work independently, using own initiative to deal with routine enquiries e.g availability and supply of medicines to wards, or patients, referring to the Pharmacy Technician or a Pharmacist if necessary.

Main duties of the job

The SCAN Team provides specialist assessment and intervention for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Learning Disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
The successful candidate will undertake specialist behavioural assessments and deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support interventions that improve wellbeing, reduce behaviours of concern and enhance quality of life. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will collaborate with families, schools, social care, healthcare professionals and partner agencies to provide coordinated, holistic support. Deliver evidence-based interventions, therapeutic support and psychoeducation relating to neurodevelopmental conditions, emotional regulation, sensory needs and behavioural management. Monitor outcomes, review interventions, undertake risk assessments and contribute to safeguarding and multi-agency risk management processes.
Work collaboratively with families and carers, providing behavioural support, coaching and practical strategies to improve wellbeing, reduce family stress and strengthen relationships.
Provide specialist PBS consultation to schools, CAMHS clinicians, social care and partner agencies. Participate in multidisciplinary, safeguarding and EHCP meetings to support coordinated care and positive outcomes.
Develop and deliver training, workshops and group programmes for families, staff and partner organisations, promoting PBS principles and least restrictive practice.
Contribute to service development, audits, quality improvement projects and implementation of NICE guidance and evidence-based practice. Maintain accurate clinical records, participate in supervision and CPD, and adhere to Trust policies on safeguarding, governance, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Main duties of the job

To be involved in the provision of education and training to GP Registrars and other staff. Main duties of the job
These posts are based across Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and Wrexham Maelor Hospital, providing opportunities to work within busy and dynamic Emergency Departments that deliver high-quality patient-centred care.
With approximately 60,000 attendances each year, our Emergency Departments offer a diverse case mix that will keep you clinically challenged while allowing you the time to provide compassionate, holistic care to your patients. As active Trauma Units within the regional Trauma Network, we deliver modern trauma care and play a key role in the management of seriously injured patients.
You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team of Consultants, SAS Doctors and junior medical staff, supported by a highly skilled nursing workforce and an expanding team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Main duties of the job
The duties of the Specialty Doctor in ED will be predominantly clinical. However, there will be involvement in the teaching and support of junior staff. The specialty doctor will be expected to make a full contribution to clinical governance and audit for which one session is allowed subject to ongoing appraisal. The post holder will be supported in their professional development, will gain excellent clinical experience, and would be especially but not exclusively of interest to anyone considering undertaking Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR). If required further experience in the allied specialties such as Paediatrics, Critical Care, Acute Medicine etc. can be arranged.
About us
Additional sessions can be arranged at mutual convenience and scope exists for flexible working and individualised job planning subject to service needs. The appointment is subject to the national Terms and Conditions of service for Specialty Doctors. There will be a requirement to work a variety of shifts on the rota which compromise of day, afternoon, evening, twilight and night shifts.
As part of the Health Board's strategic collaboration with Bangor University, individuals with an interest in teaching and research who can demonstrate and agree a possible contribution to the School can be considered and nominated for recognition through the University's process for granting honorary titlesand help to deliver our shared vision for the North Wales School of Medicine and Health.
Specialty doctors also have full access to the services at the hospital post-graduate department including the lecture theatre programme and the hospital library and IT suite.
Study leave of up to 10 days per year for specialty doctors will be provided and funded, and the hospital holds APLS, ALS and ATLS training courses. Specialty doctors must also maintain a record of CPD activities and support will be available to help with annual appraisal and revalidation requirements.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells Hospitals.
This is a locum consultant post, fixed term for 12 months in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, based at Tunbridge Wells Hospital pending a substantive appointment. This post is in response to the expansion of maternity services and supporting our Urogynaecology services. Applications are invited for the post for a Full time Consultant gynaecological oncologist surgeon to join our gynae oncological team. To provide a robust and resilient service for women with gynaecological cancers, for patients presenting with ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vaginal and vulva tumours. If you are skilled, compassionate surgeon specialising in gynae oncology procedures we invite you join our dynamic team here at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
We are looking for a skilled experienced surgeon with a passion for radical ovarian cancer surgery.
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of Surgeons, Oncologists, Histopathologists, Radiologists, specialised nurses, as part of the gynae oncology team at MTW. The appointee would work closely with the existing team to provide and further develop Radical Ovarian Cancer Surgery. The appointee will work closely with consultant colleagues, advanced nurse practitioners and cancer nurse specialists to deliver high quality outpatient services. There is a separate monthly colposcopy MDT and weekly gynae oncology MDT. The role will include weekly gynae oncology clinic and colposcopy clinic.
You will be part of the Surgical Specialties and Endoscopy Directorate which comprises of Breast, Urology, Gynae oncology, Vascular services, Upper GI, Lower GI and Endoscopy.

All clinical services provided by the Trust are managed on a cross-site basis. Clinics and surgery are predominantly undertaken at Maidstone Hospital.
This is a tertiary centre post that provides comprehensive management of Gynaecological cancers. The successful candidate must have completed gynae oncology sub speciality training to be appointed.

Main duties of the job
You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will also need to hold a qualification in Medical Ultrasound and must be competent to undertake the scan and report it independently. Further education is encouraged, including support to attend relevant courses to maintain personal and professional development to meet service needs.
This post will be to cover trust wide.
You may also need to travel between Trust premises as required for the performance of your duties. You may also be expected to work at any of the trust sites. The Trust would consider making reasonable adjustments to the role, if necessary, to enable a disabled person to undertake the role.
