We are looking for an experienced registered adult nurse ,to thrive in our community Nursing workforce. Join us as a Band 5 Staff Nurse, in a position for a 12 month fixed term position. Our service operates from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, offering flexibility in working hours. An additional team of Nurses and HCA's offer a robust, reactive evening and night Nursing team.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care and will work flexibly supporting the team to deliver high quality integrated care.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be adaptable, reliable, resourceful and approachable.
Providing integrated care following a holistic assessment which enables patients to be cared for in their own homes and clinic settings. You will facilitate the prevention of unnecessary hospital admission/re-admission by reducing the effects of ill health and disability and maximising the individual's potential for independence.
A robust induction and competency-based development package will be provided.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.

Applications are invited for a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist working within the Highbury hospital Inpatient Assessment and Treatment Unit (5 programmed activities) and Nottingham City Community Intellectual disability Team (CIDT (5 programmed activities). The community component of the post includes two boroughs within Nottingham City. This is a newly reconfigured Consultant post with 10 programmed activities. This permanent position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to lead and shape mental health care delivery for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Main duties of the job
The teams provides specialist input for adults with intellectual disability of all severity associated with a range of other diagnoses and conditions including Autism, ADHD, behaviours of distress, mental illness, epilepsy, dementia etc. The post holder will be the named Responsible clinician for the inpatient ATU and provide consultant psychiatrist input via clinics at Highbury Hospital and in the community.
The inpatient assessment and treatment unit admit male and female patients with a diagnosed intellectual disability from all over the county of Nottinghamshire. The post holder will manage 6 beds on Orion. There will be resident doctors rotating into the ward, up to and including one Foundation year 1, one Foundation year 2, one Core trainees and, depending on stage of training, one Higher trainee.
In the community setting, you will play a key role in routine and urgent patient assessment and management, GP liaison, contributing to and leasing multidisciplinary meetings, and medicolegal work (MHA/Sec 12).
The post includes clinical leadership, supervision, and participation in a 24 hour IDD specific on-call rota. You will contribute to service transformation and work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams.

Each Catering Assistant plays a vital role in our catering services team. From delivering food to wards for patients, working in our retail outlets, making sandwiches, to helping us clean our catering spaces, it's all key work and safety is critical.
Main duties of the job
As a Catering Assistant, you'll support a wide range of catering activities across the hospital, helping to ensure that food is prepared, delivered and served safely and efficiently. You'll work across catering production, ward services and retail outlets, providing excellent service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Your responsibilities will include:- Delivering meals, beverages and catering supplies to wards and departments.
- Preparing sandwiches, salads and other basic food items.
- Serving customers in hospital retail outlets and providing excellent customer service.
- Operating tills and handling daily sales records.
- Maintaining clean, safe and hygienic catering environments.
- Operating dishwashing equipment and cleaning catering utensils and equipment.

Job summary
We are looking to appoint a specialty doctor or equivalent level practitioner to join our community paediatric team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse Associate to join our friendly and supportive clinical team on a full time, fixed-term 12-month contract to provide maternity cover. An opportunity has arisen to join our team in the Medicines Procurement and Distribution Department as a Senior Pharmacy Assistant (SATO)
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist in the supply of medicinal items in the Medicines Distribution Unit (MDU) to all wards and departments across Barts Health. The role will also include supporting procurement activities, receipt of stock from suppliers, and maintaining stock control systems including the Pharmacy Robot. In addition, the post holder will supervise the ATOs and rotational staff working in MDU.
Candidates must possess a minimum functional skills qualification in English and maths and a Level 2 in Pharmacy services. Experience of supervising a team and of working in a healthcare environment would be desirable but not essential as training would be provided. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, flexible, adaptable, and organised.

The role attracts a 10 PA per week job plan and includes participation in the GI bleed on-call rota (approximately one weekday every two weeks and one weekend every eight weeks).
Within this job plan you will provide specialist diagnosis and management of gastroenterology, hepatology and general medical patients at YDH. You will maintain responsibility for inpatient and outpatient care, respond to referrals from primary care and other specialties, and offer expert gastroenterology input across the Trust. The role includes caring for acute and elective gastroenterology patients, supporting the development of nurse led endoscopy services, and managing a wide range of conditions in outpatient clinics.
You will ensure clinical practice meets governance standards, engage in annual appraisal and revalidation, maintain effective communication with colleagues and external partners, and support service development with awareness of NHS budgeting considerations.
Main duties of the job
- Diagnosis and management of patients with Gastroenterological and general medical conditions.
- Continuing responsibility for care of patients in liaison with consultant colleagues.

- Daily duties will involve the frequent movement of heavy items of materials and equipment (in excess of 15Kg) with, or without lifting aids in accordance with the guidance provided within the Trust's 'Lifting and Handling Training Manual'.
- Duties will involve working within areas such as operating theatres, mortuaries, laboratories, or patient diagnostic areas where local policies must be adhered to. To directly manage all personnel assigned to work in the catering department, in accordance with company standards and training policies. This includes permanent, bank and agency members of staff.
To lead on the purchase of materials, consumables, non-consumables and light equipment within budget and in accordance with the hospitals purchasing policy and procedures.
To oversee the catering department's premises and equipment in accordance with company health & safety and hygiene policies.
To lead on the induction of new team members and ongoing personal development and training to ensure all team members are trained to the required skill level.
To lead and motivate the team to achieve the highest possible standards when carrying out their duties.
To develop and maintain good working relationships with service users, staff and visitors.

As a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse within our specialist older persons' inpatient service, you'll play a key role in supporting patients through some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
Your day will involve building therapeutic relationships with patients, carrying out comprehensive mental and physical health assessments, developing personalised care plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions that promote recovery, wellbeing and independence. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an MDT focused on reducing hospital length of stay, promoting independence, and preventing unnecessary admissions and readmissions. Working alongside community providers of reablement services, Physiotherapists, Therapy support workers, District Nurses and Social Care asses as part of a MDT approach.
To work autonomously within the community, liaising with other health and social care professionals, to enable people to facilitate discharge from the community hospital to return to their homes in the community following illness or disability.
To provide high quality OT assessments, providing direct rehabilitation where necessary & managing patients with a range of conditions.

Complete holistic occupational therapy assessments within patients' own homes following hospital discharge. Assess functional abilities, activities of daily living, cognition, mobility, environmental factors and risks. Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment, adaptations and support services.Work closely with hospital teams, primary care, community services, social care and voluntary sector partners to ensure seamless transitions of care. Support the prevention of avoidable hospital admissions and readmissions.Manage a varied caseload, prioritising effectively within a dynamic community setting. Provide supervision and support to junior staff, students and support workers where appropriate. - Ability to communicate with other catering staff regarding work issues and instructions
- To be able to undertake a structured training programme through taught courses and on the job training to last approximately 3 months to include foundation certificate in food hygiene/level 2 food safety certificate, and equipment training (slicing, boilers, cooling kettles etc). To be signed off as competent with a 3-4 month period
- Recent relevant catering experience is desirable
- Ability to use initiative, prioritise and take prompt follow up action as required by the situation, e.g. quality control/replacing a customer's meal
