As the first point of contact for patients, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment while supporting clinicians and the wider practice team. This is a varied role that combines reception duties, appointment management, administration, and liaison with healthcare professionals and external agencies.
What you'll do:
Welcome patients and visitors, answer calls, and book appointments. You'll handle confidential information, process mail, and update records on the clinical system. You'll also monitor the waiting area, escalate any concerns, and support general admin while helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide reception support at the Glenridding Health Centre.
This includes greeting patients, answering the telephone and booking appointments. Some general administration, data entry, equipment checks and liaison with multi-disciplinary teams.

We are looking for a Clinical Coder / Document Administrator to join our Administration and Coding Team on a bank contract basis.
In this role, you will review, extract, and accurately record clinical data into our EMIS Web clinical system. Your work will directly impact patient safety, data quality, and the practices achievement of national healthcare targets such as the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF).
Key Responsibilities

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of the Administration and Coding Team Hub supporting Cumbria Health practices. Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated band 6 Rheumatology nurse to join our friendly team on a 12 months fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your knowledge and confidence within Rheumatology while working autonomously and making a real difference to the care of patients living with long term inflammatory conditions.
The role offers a high level of independent clinical working, with responsibility for assessing patients, supporting treatment decisions and providing ongoing monitoring throughout the patient's treatment journey. You will work closely with patients, developing strong therapeutic relationships and helping them to understand and manage their condition.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to the provision of the investigation and management of patients with rheumatological diseases in the North Cumbria Health Community. (to include both acute hospital sites)
In conjunction with and on instruction from Rheumatology specialist nurse(s) and/or Consultants, they will assist in providing nursing intervention, care, advice (lifestyle, disease management), support and education to those including patients diagnosed with rheumatological conditions, their carers, families, General Practitioners, practice nurses, district nurses and ward teams.
Responsible and accountable in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care for this client group, the post holder will actively contribute to the development of Rheumatology services across North Cumbria (to include both acute hospital sites) particularly for this client group.

We are looking for a Clinical Coder / Document Administrator to join our Administration and Coding Team on a bank contract basis.
The postholder will accurately review, extract and record clinical information within EMIS Web, supporting patient safety, data quality and healthcare performance targets.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of the Administration and Coding Team Hub supporting the Cumbria Health practices. The post holder will be responsible for a variety of administration duties including data input, work flowing and coding of clinical correspondence. We're looking for a full time Operations and Administration Lead to join our friendly team at Waterloo House Surgery in Millom.
You'll need to have excellent communication and organisation skills as you will be working closely with clinicians, reception teams and the practice manager. - Deputise for the Practice Manager in her absence
- Supervise and train practice staff dealing in all medicine management systems, making best use of their skills for example prescription processing

Job summary
Central Lakes Medical Group is looking for a friendly, professional and motivated Receptionist/Administrator to join our team.
This is a 20 hour per week role, working primarily from Coniston Surgery on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service both in person and over the telephone. Duties will include reception work, appointment management, administrative tasks, processing correspondence and supporting the wider practice team.
We are looking for someone who:

Previous reception or administrative experience is desirable, although full training will be provided.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the efficient running of the reception area at Central Lakes Medical Group, normally working from Coniston Surgery with some cover at other CLMG sites,
This includes general administration, data entry, equipment checks and liaison with multi-disciplinary teams.

The NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria (NENC) are looking for a Knowledge Mobilisation Fellow to join the ARC team.
The ARC NENC has been awarded additional funding from NIHR to build knowledge mobilisation capacity and capability within the health and social care system to get effective treatments and models of care into practice, thereby maximising the impact of research.

Main duties of the job
To help deliver the Knowledge Mobilisation agenda in close collaboration with the NENC Integrated Care Board (ICB), we are looking to appoint a Knowledge Mobilisation Fellow to join the ARC's core team, and work collaboratively with Embedded Knowledge Mobilisation Fellows working across the North East and North Cumbria health and care system.
