Main duties of the job
To work as an autonomous practitioner, to provide general medical services to manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting. To ensure the highest standards of care for all patients whilst adhering to the GMC standards for good medical practice.

In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will:
Make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation
Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
Providing counselling and health education
Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate
On a rotational basis, undertake on-call surgery
Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards
Collecting data for audit purposes
Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible)
Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate
In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care, including participating in all aspects of QOF, QIF and all enhanced services

Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety
A commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to join us in the Radiology department . You will form part of a friendly and supportive team which comprises of admin and clerical staff along with Radiologists, Radiographers and nursing staff.
The Radiology department spans four different sites, George's Hospital, The Nelson Health Centre, Queen Mary's Hospital, and St Johns Therapy Centre and you may be required to work at any of these sites. This post is a full time role with some out of hours commitments which entail working until 20:00 and occasional Saturdays and Sundays.
Main duties of the job

This is a general administration support role which will involve booking appointments, dealing with patient and staff enquiries and reception duties as required.
You need to be flexible and adaptable with good communication skills and caring nature. You should be a good team worker, but comfortable working independently and using own initiative.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to join us in the Radiology department . You will form part of a friendly and supportive team which comprises of admin and clerical staff along with Radiologists, Radiographers and nursing staff.
The Radiology department spans four different sites, George's Hospital, The Nelson Health Centre, Queen Mary's Hospital, and St Johns Therapy Centre and you may be required to work at any of these sites. The Alliance Crisis Team serves 3 key pathways:

The post holders will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, holding a clinical caseload and undertaking the comprehensive assessment of children and young people with mental health needs (including risk assessment and the development of risk management plans) who present in crisis to CAMH Services, hospitals and sites covered by the Alliance Crisis Care.
In addition to providing direct work to families and young people, the post holders will also assist the CAMHS and/or paediatrics team with treatment planning and provide consultation to families/carers and other professionals involved in the life of the young person.
The post holder will participate in delivering the provision of specialist mental health services to children and young people and their families and carers across the West London NHS Trust 3 Boroughs CAMH Service and crisis pathway.
The role will include providing brief interventions and outreach work to children and young people presenting with acute psychological and mental health problems where intensive support is required to prevent admission to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Units.

Hwb iechyd Cybi is looking for experienced, organised and enthusiastic Receptionist/administrators to work in our Health Board managed GP Practice.
Previous experience of working within a GP Practice would be beneficial and knowledge of the EMIS clinical system is desirable, however training can be given. The demands of a GP practice can change on a daily basis and therefore this role will be challenging.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be booking appointments and dealing with patient queries therefore excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner is required.
Proficient IT skills (including experience of Microsoft office) is also required as the post holder will also be undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth day to day running of the practices, including some data inputting.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a healthcare setting or a customer service environment but full training can be given to the right candidate.
The post holder will also be expected to work at other Health Board managed GP practices in the west area on an ad hoc basis to meet service needs and to cover staff absences. This will be discussed at interview.

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Nurse Associate post in Trafford within the field of Sexual Health and Contraception at The Northern Sexual Health Service. Our main clinic is The Urmston Clinic and we also work across 3 spoke clinics within Trafford.
The Nurse Associate will help bridge the gap between the Healthcare support and Specialist Nurses, by working independently under the leadership of the Registered Nurses following achievement of specialist competencies relevant to the role.
Main duties of the job
o Under indirect supervision and working in partnership with a Registered Nurse provide and deliver a high standard of nursing care, contributing to the ongoing assessment, providing and monitoring evidence-based care and working in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team. Including nursing associate led clinics.
o Provide leadership/training and support to the nursing assistant team
o Undertake health advising activities under indirect supervision and in partnership with the registered nursing health advising team
o Safely undertake the following procedures to meet the patient's nursing needs to include; undertaking routine procedures including sexual health screening, venepuncture, microscopy, undertake blood pressure and pulse measurement, urine and pregnancy tests.
o Undertake safe and effective administration and optimisation of medicines in accordance with Trust policy and the NMC standards of proficiency for Nursing Associates.
- Administer prescribed medicines via the following routes; oral, topical, rectal, subcutaneous and intramuscular in line with NMC Standards and Trust policies.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Adult Mental Health Services based in Severn Fields Health Village, Shrewsbury. The Service offers mental health care and treatment across a variety of different age ranges and presentation. The role is fixed term for 10 months and would require you to work 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm). You would predominantly be based in Severn Fields, although you may be required to travel to work in other Trust locations to meet service need.
In the role you will be working as part of a team along with Administrative Assistants and Medical and Clinical Administrators. You will be expected to be able to use your own initiative and judgement, although you will be well supported by other Mental Health Admin staff and through the clinical and professional networks accessible through the community teams. The administration offices are busy, and the role is challenging but it is alsorewarding.
Main duties of the job
- To accurately maintain and keep secure patient health and staff records/systems in line with policy and standard operating procedure, to ensure data quality, confidentiality and compliance with the current Data Protection Law.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding information concerning patients, staff and sensitive Trust Business at all times.
- To carry out reception duties including meeting and greeting service users, carers, relatives and visitors, as requested by the Admin Support Supervisor and/or the Admin Team Leader.
- Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner. Receive and deal with telephone enquiries referring telephone queries to a more senior colleague where appropriate. Taking accurate messages and passing them to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
- Type a range of documents including emailed requests, copy typing and audio transcription (via T-Pro digital dictation system) generated by the mental health pathway teams.
- Prioritise own workload and meet deadlines in order to meet the requirements of the post.
- Regular data entry and booking of appointments for service users on the clinical patient administration system, RiO.
- Take / transcribe minutes as required and at the request of the Admin Support Supervisor and/or Admin Team Leader.
- To work predominantly from a base, although travel to work in other Trust locations within the locality will be required to meet service need.

To work as an experienced Specialist Paediatric Radiographer within a multidisciplinary team, undertaking a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging procedures including Major Trauma, Dental, Palatal Studies, Forensic Imaging, Urodynamics, Fluoroscopy, Theatre, Mobile/Portable Imaging, and other examinations in accordance with service requirements and within the scope of professional practice.
The post holder will rotate between Birmingham Children's Hospital and Birmingham Women's Hospital, supporting imaging services across both sites and providing specialist radiographic expertise to children, young people, neonates, women, and their families.
To provide an efficient, effective, responsive, and safe imaging service across both the Children's and Women's hospital sites, supporting acute, elective, inpatient, outpatient, emergency, theatre, neonatal, and specialist care pathways.
To perform imaging examinations to a consistently high technical and professional standard, ensuring image quality is optimised and that all examinations comply with departmental protocols, radiation safety requirements, and professional standards.
The post holder will be required to participate in a 24-hour, 7-day service, including shift work, on-call duties, weekends, and bank holidays, in line with departmental rotas and service needs across both Birmingham Women's Hospital and Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Job summary
We are seeking an efficient, organised personal / executive assistant to join our corporate governance team supporting the Executive Directors, Trust Board, Committee and Sub-committee meetings as well as the wider governance and assurance agenda.
This is a part-time role that will work as a job-share with the substantive post-holder for 12 months Fixed Term Contract in the first instance for 2.5 days per week (18.75 hrs).

Main duties of the job
As a Personal Assistant, you will provide a high standard of administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Directors enabling efficient operation of their portfolios whilst always ensuring the utmost confidentiality at all times.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children in the Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Physiology team.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 4 Associate Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist to join our friendly multidisciplinary team. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of respiratory physiology testing within the Children's Hospital, as well as a high-quality sleep study service. It is essential that the successful applicant has knowledge of lung function testing, as well as a good science background preferably with a BSc. in a relevant subject. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a strong desire to pursue a career in respiratory physiology are essential.
We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm, who enjoy working with children, and who are committed to providing a high-quality service in this healthcare science specialism. Previous experience in respiratory or sleep physiology investigations would be highly beneficial, and recent NHS clinical experience is essential. You must be highly motivated, with an ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will also need effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to a busy and varied workload.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for contributing to an efficient and high-quality service in the field of Paediatric Respiratory Physiology and Sleep Medicine, and for providing the very best care for patients during their inpatient stay or outpatient visit.
- Undertaking a range of lung function investigations with inpatients and outpatients (spirometry, FeNO, nasal NO and bronchodilator response assessments), gaining accurate and clinically valuable measurements.
- Facilitating the provision of sleep study investigations for inpatients and home sleep studies (overnight oximetry, overnight carbon dioxide monitoring and respiratory polygraphy), ensuring high quality data is captured.
- Maintaining equipment to ensure that it is functioning to agreed standards and specifications.
- Training in basic analysis and reporting of sleep studies, following departmental and international standards.

Main duties of the job

Public Heath Wales Microbiology operates as a network of laboratories with regional laboratories across Wales.
You will use your knowledge and skills as a Biomedical Scientist in our team at Singleton Hospital to perform a wide range of techniques relating to the diagnosis of infectious disease.
Main duties of the job
This post would suit candidates that have proven Microbiology laboratory experience and associated work based education and competency or a science graduate. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to rotate through a number of sections during their employment, gaining experience in a number of methodologies to include molecular science and microbiological diagnostic testing.
The laboratory is an IBMS approved training laboratory. The Public Health Wales, Microbiology network is ISO 15189 accredited. An understanding of good laboratory practice and ISO15189 quality management is essential.To ensure that the laboratory can provide a 24/7 acute service, the post holder will be expected to participate in unsocial hours working (weekend/Bank Holiday/overnight) as per published roster.

Job summary
The Endoscopy Decontamination units opening hours are:
The Royal Hallamshire Hospital unit 07:30 am - 20:00 pm Monday - Friday. The Northern General Hospital unit is open 08:00 am - 22:00 pm Monday - Thursday , 08:00 - 20:00 pm Friday and 10:00 am - 18:00 pm Saturday.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operational running of the Endoscopy Decontamination Units (EDUs) across the Trust's hospital sites.
Key functions include organising balanced staffing levels across all shifts, ensuring strict compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and meticulously recording all non-conformances on Trust databases.
The supervisor acts as a first line contact for service users, monitors decontamination equipment daily including data collection filed electronically in a timely manner, and will step in to perform technical, hands-on decontamination duties alongside the technician team as service needs dictate.
The post-holder will ensure all aspects of the quality standards outlined in the department's policies are met at all times.
