Day Surgery Unit in Wexham Park Hospital are looking for an enthusiastic, professional , reliable, hardworking motivated to meet the administrative demands of our busy Day Surgery Unit.
Passionate about delivering excellent service and with flexible attitude Ward Clerk / Receptionist to join our friendly team on Day Surgery Unit at Wexham Park Hospital, where we care for patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures from admission to discharge.
Main duties of the job
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Day Surgery Unit at Wexham Park Hospital, ensuring the efficient operation of the service. Welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with Trust policies, procedures, and Information Governance requirements.
Support patient admissions and discharges using EPIC, including scanning and uploading relevant documentation. Keep staff informed of patient movements and arrange patient transport within and outside the hospital as required.
Maintain effective communication with the ward team and other departments, while providing general administrative support, including photocopying, filing, and monitoring office supplies. Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.

As a Trauma Coordinator, you will work closely with orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre teams, emergency department staff, ward teams, trauma nurse practitioners, physiotherapists, and discharge coordinators to ensure patients receive timely, safe, and effective care throughout their trauma pathway. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will be at the centre of trauma service management, coordinating patient flow, supporting achievement of national trauma standards, and facilitating communication across the multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to improving patient outcomes and ensuring an efficient trauma service from admission through to surgery and discharge. Job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant Urologist to join our established team on a 6 months fixed-term locum basis.
This post has been created in response to increased clinical activity and rising service demand across the specialty.
The successful applicant will support the existing Consultant workforce in delivering high-quality urological care across both elective and emergency pathways.
The role will contribute to maintaining service performance, patient access and waiting list recovery within a busy District General Hospital environment.
This appointment is intended to provide additional clinical capacity during a period of sustained demand and will play an important role in supporting the department's operational objectives whilst ensuring excellent patient care and service continuity.
Some Saturday elective work may be expected from the successful applicant
Main duties of the job
Outpatients
The post holder will independently deliver outpatient services, with a primary focus on General Urology and Endourology. Clinical sessions will principally be based at Heatherwood Hospital, although the successful applicant may be required to provide services across Wexham Park Hospital and other Trust locations to support operational and patient care requirements.
The stone service uses a acute virtual clinic and MDT to review patients, discuss complex presentations and optimise theatre list planning and utilisation. There is an excellent onsite lithotripsy service at Heatherwood and have a supportive interventional radiology service.
There may be a requirement to support the prostate cancer pathway with LA transperineal prostate biopsies.
Theatres
The post holder will independently perform a range of core and endourology procedures. The focus will be supporting the emergency and elective treatment of stone patients: rigid and flexible ureteroscopy/FANS and stent exchange. The role will involve operating within established clinical governance frameworks and contributing to the efficient utilisation of theatre capacity.
Theatre sessions are generally scheduled as either full-day operating lists (07:30 to 19:30) or as dedicated AM and PM sessions, subject to operational requirements.

We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our Outpatient Booking Team on a 12-month fixed-term basis during a period of service growth. We are looking for a reliable and conscientious individual to join the Endoscopy Unit at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, supporting our medical and nursing teams and playing an essential role in the safe decontamination of endoscopes and associated equipment.
A key part of this role is providing a high-quality decontamination service for the Endoscopy Unit, as well as supporting wards, departments and peripheral outpatient clinics across the Trust. You will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring equipment is processed safely, efficiently and in line with national guidance and Trust procedures.
Main duties of the job
This is an important role where attention to detail, teamwork and a commitment to maintaining high standards are essential. You will also have access to training relevant to your role, alongside the Trust's mandatory training programme.
As an Endoscopy Decontamination Assistant, you will:
- Receive, inspect and prepare used endoscopes and equipment for decontamination, identifying and reporting any defects, damage or discrepancies to the appropriate senior member of staff.
- Manually clean flexible endoscopes in accordance with national decontamination guidance and local Trust procedures.
- Safely load and unload flexible endoscopes from automated washer-disinfectors, reporting any faults or concerns promptly.
- Carry out routine water testing and sampling in accordance with departmental procedures and national guidance, escalating any issues appropriately.
- Identify damaged endoscopes and ensure they are referred to the appropriate manufacturer or service provider for repair.
- Complete endoscope tracking documentation and maintain accurate records of decontamination activity.
- Dispose of clinical and household waste and linen safely and appropriately.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment, including daily cleaning of workstations.
- Work collaboratively with nursing, medical and decontamination colleagues to support the smooth and safe operation of the Endoscopy Unit.
- Undertake all training relevant to the role and complete Trust-wide mandatory training as required.

Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Associate Practitioner to join our Physiotherapy team, working within the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Units. This is a patient-facing role supporting assessment, treatment and early rehabilitation for people presenting with acute medical conditions. The post holder will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support patient flow, admission avoidance where appropriate, and timely discharge from the acute trust.
The successful post holder will support the physiotherapy team to deliver safe, effective and timely care within fast-paced acute settings.
You will work across an independent caseload as well as alongside physiotherapists. You will regularly work with patients who may be medically unstable, require close monitoring, or are being rapidly assessed for admission or discharge.
You will play a key role in educating patients and their families on self-management strategies, safety awareness and onward rehabilitation needs, supporting effective transitions of care from ED and AMU settings.
As a department, we will provide a kind, supportive and knowledgeable team to aid your professional development through regular supervision and in-service training. You will also be encouraged to contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement work, alongside participating in educational opportunities with patients, colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
- Be responsible, unsupervised, for implementing the standards and policies relevant to the speciality.
- Within specific guidelines and following training to be solely responsible and accountable for a clinical case load working within codes of practice and professional guidelines. This includes patient documentation in both professional and medical notes.

We are seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to deliver high-quality care across our sites. This is a full-time role (10 PAs).
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the post constitute skin cancer clinics, general Dermatology clinics, Outpatient skin surgery, ward referrals and with a view to supporting Paediatric Dermatology, Contact Dermatitis and Psoriasis.
The post holder will be expected to see new patients as well as treating patients from the waiting list.
Sessions will be a mixture of fixed and flexible.

Job summary
We are currently looking for someone, perhaps like yourself, who would be interested in a role where you would be trained and supported right from the start, helping to provide the best possible care and treatment for our patients.
This vacancy is for a Part Time, 20 hours per week position.
The post holder will work as part of a team to provide a blood sample collection service to the Slough CDC Centre (Upton Hospital) and occasionally Wexham Park Hospital.
The post holder will be trained to perform a range of venepuncture techniques in a variety of clinical settings and will work under direct supervision until successfully assessed to work without supervision.
Within 6 months, the post holder will be assessed on their Phlebotomy practical skills and Phlebotomy base knowledge.
Once the candidate completes all training and the Phlebotomy Competency, they will be promoted to Band 3.
The post holder will participate in a rota-based schedule to cover shifts from Monday to Sunday between 7.30 a.m. and 8.00 p.m.
The post holder will work 5 days a week within a 7-day period, including weekends (on a rota basis).
Main duties of the job
- The work, as a Phlebotomist, involves taking blood samples from patients who are currently being treated on our wards and outpatient department as well as those in other local hospitals where we provide services.
- As you will know, properly taken blood samples are vital in helping our clinicians to effectively diagnose and treat the medical conditions in the patients that they see.
- The post holder is responsible for complying with the Trust's corporate policies and procedures.
- These serve as a basis for regulating the conduct of activities in a consistent manner and are required to satisfy the proper discharge of statutory, professional and legal responsibilities and provide a disciplined framework within which actions take place.
- A Bank Holiday service is provided to the wards and covered by the team on a rotational basis.

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist Team at The Parapet, King Edward VII Hospital, as a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist.
This is a rewarding role at the heart of breast cancer care, supporting patients from the point of investigation and diagnosis, through treatment, and onwards to the Supported Self-Management Pathway. You will play an active role within the multidisciplinary team, providing expert support to patients across both outpatient and inpatient settings.
As part of this varied and fulfilling position, you will:
- support patients undergoing investigation for breast cancer, throughout diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care
- provide specialist nursing care and guidance to patients before and after surgery
- run nurse-led clinics, including prosthesis clinics
- work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive compassionate, seamless, high-quality care
- help patients to self-manage effectively and live well with and beyond cancer treatment
We are seeking applications from nurses who are passionate about delivering excellent, patient-centred breast cancer care. You may already have experience in oncology, SACT, palliative care, or a related field, or you may be a highly motivated nurse keen to develop specialist knowledge in breast cancer care.
Main duties of the job
- The post-holder will act as a Keyworker for a defined group of patients diagnosed with breast cancer, providing a link between patients and health care professionals across primary, secondary and tertiary care and act as an advocate and ongoing support for patients/families.
- The post-holder will support the development and evaluation of the Breast Cancer service to maintain and improve the standards of patient care and promote a seamless service within a multi-disciplinary framework.
- The post-holder will support the delivery of a comprehensive nurse-led service that is holistic in its approach, evidence based and meets the individual needs of breast cancer patients.
- The post-holder will ensure their role reflects the core components of the Clinical Nurse Specialist, which includes clinical practice, management, education, research and audit, taking into account the National Cancer Agenda and its impact on service delivery
- The post-holder will work towards becoming a clinical expert in breast cancer, demonstrating strong and empathetic communication skills.
- The post requires the ability to work autonomously, whilst being supported within a well-established, cohesive nursing team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist to join our well-established Multidisciplinary Diabetes Footcare Team (MDFT) within Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
About the Service
Our Diabetes Footcare Service provides comprehensive acute foot care across both Frimley Park Hospital and Wexham Park Hospital. You will join a friendly and supportive team comprising five Diabetes Podiatrists, two Podiatry Assistants, and dedicated administrative support (based at Wexham Park).
Our clinics include in-patient reviews, out-patient appointments, and MDFT sessions, with Consultant input available throughout the week. The wider MDFT includes Diabetologists, Vascular Surgeons, Vascular Nurses, Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Microbiologists, Orthotists, Tissue Viability Nurses, and the Amputee Rehabilitation Team--ensuring patients receive seamless, multidisciplinary care.
This post is to cover Wexham Park Hospital.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will coordinate and provide advanced assessment, diagnosis and management of a specialist diabetes caseload.
- The post holder will be required to work in close collaboration with relevant consultants, GPs, podiatrists and other members of the MDFT and community Podiatry in order to provide a patient centred, seamless, integrated approach.
- The post holder will have responsibility of maintaining clinical standards and protocols of care in line with acute and service needs
- The post holder will provide Podiatric assessment, diagnosis and management of a complex caseload with referrals from Diabetes, ED and General Medicine.
- The post holder will provide specialist Podiatric advice to other specialist areas.
- The post holder will work autonomously as the Diabetes Podiatrist on site during periods of annual leave cover.
- The post holder will support research and development projects.
