Main duties of the job
Your day in the life of a Healthcare Assistant
As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will be supporting our 2 Week Wait, Dermatology contract across Gloucester. You will be responsible for collecting stock and equipment for the clinic, setting up examination rooms for clinicians, and acting as a chaperone during patient consultations and procedures. Additionally, you will take on administrative duties, ensuring all reports are completed with outcomes and providing support related to administrative tasks. Your support will ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic and contribute to providing a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience for our patients.
Please note our service operates seven days a week and you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/07:30 - 17:30/18:00.
Our Clinic locations are nationwide and include Manchester, Birmingham, Hereford, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire, Stoke, Staffordshire, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Wrexham, Gloucestershire, Reading, Frimley, Slough and Bassetlaw. This is a mobile role and you will be expected to travel to any of these site locations.

Main duties of the job
You will need enthusiasm, kindness, compassion, and confidence as you will be expected to work with a diverse set of acutely unwell people who each require an individual holistic approach to meet their day-to-day care needs. Daily responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and recording of baseline observations for all patients under your daily allocation (blood pressure / temperature / pulse etc.).
- Escalation of issues to relevant registered member of staff (Nurse, doctor etc.) related to acute deterioration of patient's conditions.
- Provision of care to meet individual holistic requirements of all patients under your daily allocation including personal care, continence assistance and meal time assistance.
- Cleaning of equipment and ward areas as and when required.
- Procurement and handling of clinical samples / swabs.
We will provide uniform and an initial training course to deliver the skills you will need to work in a busy hospital. If you meet the criteria for the shortened induction this will include a eight-hour theory session followed by a minimum of two six-hour supervised shifts working on a ward.

The Cellular Pathology department within the Royal Victoria Infirmary have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Healthcare Science Associate Practitioner (HCSAP).
The Healthcare Science Associate Practitioner (HCSAP) plays a key role within the Cellular Pathology department, supporting the delivery of high quality diagnostic services for patients. Working as part of a busy, multidisciplinary laboratory team, the post holder will assist with the receipt, processing, and preparation of tissue and cellular specimens for microscopic and molecular analysis.
This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient focused service
Our service is one of the largest in the country and includes Histology, Diagnostic Cytology, Neuropathology, Research and Innovation laboratories, as well as Mortuary Services. Main duties of the job
The post involves the receipt and preparation of tissue and fluid samples for microscopic analysis, including microtomy, embedding, staining, equipment maintenance and preparation for genetic analysis. This role is based in the slide production area of the department. Candidates must be comfortable handling a wide range of pathology specimens as part of routine laboratory work.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, well motivated individuals with experience in histological techniques and a good understanding of the role of Cellular Pathology in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. They should enjoy working as part of a team and possess keyboard skills, excellent communication abilities and flexibility to support service needs.Shift patterns are 7.5 hours Monday to Friday between the laboratory opening hours of 7am-6pm, with participation in a Saturday rota. Flexibility is strongly encouraged to support staff and service demands.
We offer training opportunities to all grades of staff in a supportive and modern environment. The post is primarily to support Registered and Specialist Biomedical Scientists within the laboratory, with opportunities to rotate into different sections of the department.

Your day in the life of a Healthcare Assistant
As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will be supporting our 2 Week Wait, Dermatology contract across Kent & Medway. You will be responsible for collecting stock and equipment for the clinic, setting up examination rooms for clinicians, and acting as a chaperone during patient consultations and procedures. Additionally, you will take on administrative duties, ensuring all reports are completed with outcomes and providing support related to administrative tasks. Your support will ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic and contribute to providing a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience for our patients.
Please note our service operates seven days a week and you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/07:30 - 17:30/18:00.
Our Clinic locations are nationwide and include Manchester, Birmingham, Hereford, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire, Stoke, Staffordshire, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Wrexham, Gloucestershire, Reading, Frimley, Slough and Bassetlaw. This is a mobile role and you will be expected to travel to any of these site locations.

Main duties of the job
Duties will be wide and varied, and include IPC and cleaning duties, supporting with meal service, escorting patients on periods of leave both on the grounds and into the wider community, supporting patients in times of crisis by way of excellent communication skills and when required utilising approved physical interventions such as PAS. You will be part of a large multi-disciplinary team on the ward, and further tasks may be delegated to you in line with patient care and staff safety.

Intermediate Care Unit is currently a 34 bedded inpatient rehabilitation unit.

We provide short term rehabilitation for individuals from the age of 18 years who have had a change to their physical health. Main duties of the job

There are in excess of 10 echo rooms at Royal Stoke & County Hospitals which provide a full range of services including, TTE, TOE, DSE, GUCH, contrast and support for structural work in the interventional labs. The service also supports one-stop clinics for heart valve disease, oncology, heart failure and inherited cardiac conditions.
Main duties of the job
The Heart Centre at UHNM provides tertiary cardiology and cardiothoracic surgical services for over 2 million people across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire and South Cheshire, as well as secondary care cardiology for the local population.
The successful applicants will join the established and prominent consultant, nursing and technical team, and will have every opportunity to participate in continuing the development and success of the service.
The successful candidate will be BSE accredited, or working towards BSE accreditation and looking to further develop their skills. This department has a strong track record for developing extended roles such as physiologist or scientist led heart valve surveillance clinics, Herceptin echo clinics, stress echo and TOE, which have been established for a number of years. the team are currently developing echocardiographers within the the heart failure unit. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Care Assistant to join the specialist palliative care team working both within the community under hospice at home and the inpatient ward at the Macmillan Unit and Forest Holme. We provide palliative and End of Life Care to patients with life limiting disease. The successful candidate would need to be compassionate and demonstrate a keen interest in Palliative care. They would also demonstrate the ability to provide a high standard of quality care to our patients. The candidate needs to have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work flexible hours. Previous NHS experience of working in palliative care environment is essential.
You will need to drive and have access to a car for this role.
The role covers shift work 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
New starters to the trust will have to undertake a numeracy and literacy test.

Are you an experienced Male Healthcare Assistant or Male Support Worker wanting control and flexibility to work the shifts you want?
Whether you’re looking for extra shifts to boost your income or a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle, if you’re an experienced Healthcare Assistant in the UK you can join our staff bank and, after completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available shifts at Reene House in Newport, plus the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.
There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.
Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the shifts at Reene House secured that you want.
Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Male Bank Healthcare Assistant with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.
What you will be doing
You will join the team that works well together to provide care for people with mental health conditions. Whether you are currently a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Location: Reene House, Lliswerry, Newport, Wales, NP19 0RJ The service provides a setting that supports individuals to lead a full and valued life. Staff support each person to achieve as much independence as they can. Staff offer a maximum possible choice in activities of daily living and the team embrace diversity and each person’s own unique potential. The service provides a safe environment with dedicated nursing and support staff who work to maintain each person’s citizenship and cultural beliefs. All meals are provided, and special dietary requirements are catered for.
