Microvascular Surgery Clinical Fellow post (SpR / ST6+ Level) in Lower Limb Reconstruction
We wish to appoint a 1x Clinical Microsurgical Fellow - Specialty Registrar Level in Plastic Surgery with a special interest in lower limb and microsurgery in general. 1x post will commence on February 2027 for a 6 month fixed term contract.
Main duties of the job
Expectations of the position - The successful candidate will be in year 7 / 8 of plastic surgery training (or equivalent), have passed FRCS (Plast) or equivalent and will have special interest in microsurgery reflected in the application form.
The successful candidate will be expected to be involved in teaching and to undertake clinical audit projects. The successful candidate will be expected to attend specialist clinics in ortho - plastic surgery.
This post is recognised for training by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Plastic Surgery and has Royal College Approval.
Candidates must have GMC registration that allows them to work in posts that are not recognised for training. It is essential that candidates have experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent.

The community dietetic service is part of a wider 42 strong dietetic team including specialists in paediatrics, oncology, gastro, intestinal failure, cystic fibrosis and renal. The department has good integrated services with other AHPs and is supportive in CPD opportunities. You will contribute to projects, outcome measures, audit and training of both dietetic, medical students and other HCPs. You need to have current clinical inpatient and outpatient dietetic experience and access to a car at all times.

The community dietetic service is part of a wider 42 strong dietetic team including specialists in paediatrics, oncology, gastro, intestinal failure, cystic fibrosis and renal. The department has good integrated services with other AHPs and is supportive in CPD opportunities. You will contribute to projects, outcome measures, audit and training of both dietetic, medical students and other HCPs. We will support you in developing your skills in a number of ways, including shadowing opportunities across the team.
You need to have current clinical inpatient and outpatient dietetic experience and access to a car at all times.
Working Pattern: 21 hours per week. The hours will need to be worked between 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. The pattern can be agreed between the successful applicant and line manager.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated DSN to join the innovative Barts Health NHS Trust Young Adults Diabetes Service. This mobile service will also comprise a Dietician, Clinical psychologist, Youth Worker, Social Prescriber, and administrator.
This exciting new post has been developed to improve diabetes care and outcomes for young people (age 16-25) with diabetes across North East London. The post holder will support young adults who may be struggling with a range of difficulties related to living with diabetes, as they make the transition to adult services. The work will be with young adults living with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
The post holder will have scope to develop the service, with the support of more senior colleagues and in collaboration with service users.The post will have a base at Mile End Hospital, but the job will involve working across all of the Barts Health sites (Whipps Cross Hospital, Newham University Hospital, the Royal London Hospital, and St Barts Hospital), and ensuring that standardised, high-quality care is delivered across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced and newly qualified band 5 Operating Department Practitioners/Anaesthetic Trained Nurses to join our Children's and Obstetric Theatres services at the Royal London Hospital.
We have 4 Children's theatres and 2 Obstetric theatres at the Royal London Hospital covering a diverse range of both elective and emergency work in a variety of specialties including major trauma, via the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS). Our paediatric elective work includes a range of clinical specialities; ENT, Dental, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Plastics, General and Neonatal Surgery, Ophthalmology.
As part of your development you will have the opportunity to work in our adult inpatient theatres on a three month rotation. During the rotation you will gain invaluable trauma experiences and increase your knowledge and skills. As an Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP in children's and obstetrics theatres you will also be rotated to work in our paediatric recovery areas, allowing our department to work together as one team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Synchronicity Care Limited (SCL) as Associate Director of Facilities. Main duties of the job
As Associate Director of Facilities, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of Soft FM services, ensuring they are safe, compliant, resilient, efficient and focused on the needs of patients, staff and visitors.
You will lead and develop a workforce of approximately 300 staff across four hospital sites, with responsibility for service performance, financial resources, workforce planning, risk, governance and continuous improvement.
Working at a senior corporate level, you will provide expert Facilities advice to SCL and the Trust, contribute to Board and Executive discussions, and work collaboratively with clinical, corporate and external partners. You will lead service transformation, manage complex contractual and PFI relationships, ensure regulatory and statutory compliance, and support the organisations resilience and sustainability objectives.
You will also deputise for the Managing Director when required, representing SCL at senior forums and providing effective leadership on complex and sensitive issues.

Job summary
Based at the Macmillan Cancer Information & Support Centre in the Williams Day Unit, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent communications skills able provide cancer information and support in a variety of circumstances. The post is a patient facing role and is non-clinical. It is a 6 months fixed term/secondment post. The post holder will work primarily with the Macmillan Cancer Information Manager and support the needs of individuals, carers, relatives and professionals in accessing high quality information and signposting patients to internal and external support services that are relevant to meet their needs. The post holder will be expected to and undertake the delivery of patients holistic needs assessments, provision of verbal and written information, supportive listening and refer on to appropriate services where the needs of the patient are more complex. This role will involve cross-site cover (St. Margaret's Hospital, Epping) and information support to cancer patients and users. They will support the Macmillan Cancer Information Manager and will be required to support and guide volunteers within the service. Main duties of the job
You will support: the delivery of high-quality patient experience through the delivery of high quality information at any point of the patients cancer pathway support the Macmillan Cancer Information manager in the Williams Day Unit and provide information and support to cancer service users across sites in St Margarets and Herts & Essex Hospitals the development of the Health and Wellbeing programmes for cancer patients and work with various multidisciplinary teams to signpost and provide a comprehensive supportive service to all service users the delivery of Holistic Needs Assessments and work alongside cancer multidisciplinary teams to support the provision of a personalised care plan. Synchronicity Care Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Procurement Officer to join our ambitious and forward-thinking Procurement Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering strategic procurement solutions that directly support the provision of high-quality healthcare services. Working across a diverse portfolio of goods and services, you will lead and manage end-to-end procurement projects, partnering with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to achieve outstanding outcomes.
As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with public sector procurement regulations, driving value for money, managing supplier relationships, and supporting service improvements that ultimately benefit patients and the wider community.

Main duties of the job
We're looking for a proactive and experienced procurement professional with a strong track record in public sector procurement, including tendering, managing procurement projects, and developing strategic procurement plans.
In this influential role, you will lead the successful procurement of a diverse range of goods and services, working closely with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to ensure value-driven solutions that directly support the delivery of exceptional patient care. You will manage complex procurement activities from inception to contract award, leading competitive tender exercises and maximising the use of framework agreements to achieve the best outcomes for the organisation.
As a key member of the Procurement Team, you will champion continuous improvement, helping to shape and enhance procurement policies, documentation, processes, and ways of working. Your expertise will drive best practice, innovation, compliance, and efficiency across the organisation.
About us
Our organisation is a subsidiary of an NHS organisation and is currently awaiting UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) approval to be added under our parent organisation's Sponsor Licence. Until that approval has been granted, we are not authorised to issue Certificates of Sponsorship or sponsor applicants.
This is a legal and regulatory requirement, and we cannot proceed with sponsorship until UKVI has completed the approval process.

By challenging existing practices, driving continuous improvement, and supporting innovative procurement approaches, you will contribute to achieving financial savings, operational efficiencies, and long-term value that supports the Trust's strategic objectives and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
You will mentor and support colleagues within the procurement team, sharing knowledge, building capability, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance. Through your guidance and coaching, you will play an important role in developing future procurement talent and strengthening the overall effectiveness of the team.
