Job summary
A new vacancy has arisen for a phlebotomist to join our nursing team at Brannam Medical Centre. Experience preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will be providing support the Nursing Team ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and efficient care within their scope of practice. Duties include taking blood, monitoring of blood pressure, weight and height plus preventative care, health promotion and patient education.
The role will also include training and development of junior health care assistants and students to support improved services for our patients.
You will need to have excellent communication skills, be caring, sensitive and empathetic, have good IT abilities, be able to manage your time, work as a team member and autonomously and can work under pressure in a busy medical practice.
We welcome applicants that are currently working in primary care as well as applicants that have come from a hospital or community background.
Main duties of the job
Follow guidelines and policies for venepuncture and INR star (which you have received appropriate training).
Provide a safe phlebotomy service and ensure correct use of ICE / electronic requesting systems.
Recognise and respond appropriately to adverse patient reactions (e.g.fainting, bleeding).
Ensuring safe storage, rotation and disposals of vaccines, sharps and drugs and that adequate stock levels and adherence to cold chain is maintained.
Stock rotation and ordering of treatment room supplies.
Measuring and recording following physiological measurements in routine presentations.
Assist in practice audits, CQC compliance evidence and QOF recall
Maintain accurate patient records using agreed templates, Read Codes and recall systems.
Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation associated with patient health care on system 1.
Maintain strict adherence to Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) standards, including hand hygiene, PPE, and safe disposal of sharps.
Provide a calm, reassuring, and professional service to patients with varying needs.
Attend and participate in staff and Practice meetings and in-house clinical training sessions.
Ability to manage distressed, anxious, or needlephobic patients and work in fastpaced clinics with high through put.

Job summary
There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated and innovative Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Nurse Learning Disability to join our Specialist Services Division as Clinical Matron for our inpatient mental health services for older adults.
Older Adults Mental Health inpatient services consists of 5 inpatient units, covering the frail functional pathway, organic assessment and treatment, and continuing healthcare provision for service users with advanced dementia and complex care needs. This post covers the continuing healthcare wards, Elizabeth Court and Lambourn Grove, in addition to providing senior nurse leadership to our out of hours clinical leads team.
The Matron's key responsibility is to ensure that service users' experience safe and effective care delivered in partnership with them and their carers. This will be achieved through high visibility, accessibility and clinical leadership. The Matron will be expected to be a visible presence within their specialist clinical areas providing support, leadership and expertise, highlighting and taking appropriate action where there are concerns and deficits in care.
N.B The post will require travel between sites to any of the older adult inpatient units, all of which based within Hertfordshire. Areas of responsibility may be subject to change as two Clinical Matrons cover the 5 older adult wards and work very closely together to provide senior nurse leadership to our services users and staff.
Main duties of the job
- To provide strong clinical and professional leadership and a supportive approach to Team Leaders and clinicians within the multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- To be a visible, accessible and authoritative presence in the clinical areas
- To work within the Modern Matrons Charter to ensure good standards of infection control, privacy and dignity, cleanliness and health and safety
- To oversee and monitor the quality, timeliness and development of nursing care in accordance with all relevant professional standards
- To ensure the environments in which service care and treatment is provided are fit for purpose, clean, well ordered and maintained

The Cardiac service within St Bart's Trust is involved in a large amount of research and complex scanning with plenty of opportunities to get involved. We are immensely proud to have many of our Radiographers publishing research and representing us at conferences.
The service at the CDC is based on a 7 day a week, 12 hours a day model offering flexible access to patients from around London and beyond.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as an Advanced Specialist Practitioner within Cardiac Imaging, where they will be an advocate for radiographer professional development and use their advanced knowledge to support specialist radiographer education and training. They will provide high quality, effective Imaging services within Cardiac CT. The post holder will work closely with Radiographers, students and clinical staff of all grades in providing safe, prompt and effective imaging. This will be done at the Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) at Mile End.

The successful candidate will provide specialist biopsychosocial assessments for working age adults and older adults in the acute trust hospital. The role currently includes assessments for children and young people presenting to the emergency departments with mental health needs.

This is an exciting time to join the service as liaison psychiatry and emergency mental health pathways continue to develop. The Post holder will:

- Be the first point of contact out of hours for mental health in reach referrals from Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.
- Provide a mental health assessment to patients under the age of 18 (Children and adolescents ) who present to the Emergency Department (ED) out of hours with self- harm or mental health difficulties
- Triage, prioritise and coordinate mental health assessments through the appropriate care pathway.
- Provide clinical support for teams across the mental health inreach teams and the Acute Liaison Psychiatry Service.

We are looking to recruit a part time Senior Health Care Support Worker (0.59 WTE) to join us within the Breast Unit of Peterborough City Hospital.
The successful candidate will work within our Symptomatic Breast Outpatient Clinics, be caring, have good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop. Our Health Care Support Workers are an intrinsic part of our clinical teams, working closely with our Breast Care Practitioners offering support to patients who have been referred to our service.
The role responsibilities include:
1. Always acting in the patient's best interests, ensuring patient safety is maintained and patient experience is positive by caring for all patients, relatives and colleagues with respect, dignity, compassion and courtesy in accordance with the Trust values.
2. Providing individualised personal and clinical care, respecting personal beliefs and preferences.

Main duties of the job
The Post holder will:
Work independently and unsupervised as an expert Advanced Practitioner in performing diagnostic Upper Oesophageal-gastro-duodenoscopies (OGD), Colonoscopy and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy on sedated and non sedated patients, and where applicable manage own caseload of patients through new and follow-up nurse-led clinics for patients presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms, with support from Gastroenterology Consultants. Exercise and demonstrate advanced levels of clinical judgement, discretion and clinical decision making. Be responsible for diagnosing benign and malignant gastrointestinal conditions and discussing the findings of such examinations with the patients and for planning appropriate patient management
Be a highly experienced specialist advanced practitioner, with expert knowledge and skills in the field of Endoscopy Services, undertaking holistic assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and will reflect the standards and targets laid down by the British Society of Gastroenterology, Joint Advisory Group and GRS.
Applicants who have commenced their endoscopy training will be considered. Those appointed prior to completion of the required training will be appointed on an Annex 21 salary in accordance with NHS terms and conditions, until the relevant training requirements have been successfully completed.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Speech and Language Therapy Voice and Respiratory Service at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a motivated SLT to join our experienced team, supporting people with complex voice and upper airway disorders.
The successful candidate will have experience in the assessment and management of dysphonia, chronic cough and inducible laryngeal obstruction (ILO). Experience in dysphagia is welcomed. Laryngoscopy expertise is desirable, but internal training is available.
Our SLT's work closely with the respiratory multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, clinical psychologists and lung physiologists. Our SLT's attend specialist clinics including Complex Breathlessness, Joint Cough and Exercise-Induced Laryngeal Obstructions clinics, with collaboration with regional Ear, Nose and Throat services.
Our service is recognised as a leading UK service, with team members contributing to national clinical guidelines, research and teaching. We value ongoing learning through structured CPD, peer supervision and case discussion.

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's leading providers of non-surgical cancer treatment, caring for a population of 2.4 million people.
Our flagship specialist cancer hospital in Liverpool opened in June 2020, supported by our hospital on Clatterbridge in Wirral providing outpatient cancer treatment and supportive care, and our radiotherapy treatment centre on the Aintree Hospital site.Together, working across three sites and operating specialist chemotherapy clinics in four of Merseyside's district hospitals, we are able to deliver a comprehensive range of inpatient care, advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other systemic anti-cancer therapies including gene therapies and immunotherapies. Main duties of the job
We are looking for enthusiastic Band 6 SACT trained nurses to work at our CCC - Liverpool site in the Chemotherapy Treatment Unit. You will embark on a programme of dual training for both Oncology and Haematology systemic anticancer treatments. You must be highly motivated and willing to undergo training in the Haematology and chemotherapy fields.
As we deliver treatments in sector hubs and clinicsacross the Wirral and Liverpool, there will an element of cross cover required during training and once training has been completed. This will include travelling to all of our peripheral sites:

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will:

The Community Response Service team facilitates early discharges from hospital, who otherwise would have stayed in hospital due to therapy needs, and provide rehab for up to 2 weeks to meet the short-term goals for them to be able to remain at home. We are looking for an enthusiastic Operator to come and join our Patient Centred team in the Switchboard Department based at The Leeds General Infirmary The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of a comprehensive patient administration functionalities within the Outpatient Clinic Service Unit. - GCSE (or equivalent experience) English Language and Mathematics grade C and above

Job summary
The Resourcing & Rota Coordinator (GPs) is a key operational role responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective deployment of salaried and locum GPs across multiple secure sites across the UK.
