Job summary
We are seeking a motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our busy Ophthalmology Outpatients Department on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a secondment. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your clinical expertise within eye care, working across both routine outpatients and our dedicated emergency eye service.
Our department is exceptionally busy, caring for over 100 patients every single day. This is an active, hands-on role that involves considerable walking and standing, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment.

Proficiency or a willingness to rapidly build confidence in IV cannulation and venepuncture.
A proactive, energetic approach to nursing, with the physical resilience needed for a fast-paced, ambulatory environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills under pressure.
Flexibility: Ability to work 4 days per week within our operational window (07:30 18:00), which must include some Saturdays.
Comprehensive, structured training program provided for all ophthalmology-specific diagnostic tools and clinical duties.
Valuable specialized experience in ophthalmic nursing and emergency triage.
Supportive, friendly multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-quality patient care and staff development.

Medical Laboratory Assistant (Band 3)
We are pleased to offer an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) to join the Pathology Department at Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
As part of our Biochemistry Laboratory team, you will play a vital role in ensuring high standards of patient care through the accurate and timely processing of clinical specimens.

It is an exciting time to join the Haemoglobinopathy team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust as we look forward to a new working model of integrating community and hospital Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Service.
The team are looking for a friendly and dynamic nurse to join the team in a liaison nurse role, an integral part in facilitating the transition between paediatric services, but increasingly bridging the gap between hospital and home too.
We are looking for someone with experience of caring for people with haemoglobinopathy conditions or awareness of the challenges they face. You will need to have excellent communication skills, and be competent in venepuncture, cannulation and the use of CVADs. Main duties of the job
All aspects of care of the haemoglobinopathy patient: screening and counselling on diagnosis.

Coordinating and participating in regional MDTs, teaching and raising awareness throughout hospital and community.
This role involves visiting patients in their own homes to deliver a holistic approach to care. As it requires working within the community, a full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential.

Were looking for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our clinical team as a Clinical Lead Mental Health Nurse, providing specialist clinical leadership and oversight to people with complex mental health and psychological needs across community settings and specialised living establishments.
This is a senior clinical role for an RMN who understands the complexity of mental health care and is confident in supporting people across the pathway with a strong understanding of both inpatient mental health services and community-based care.
Youll have clinical accountability for a caseload of complex mental health service users, ensuring they receive safe, evidence-based and recovery-focused care. Youll also play a key role in supporting and developing the carers and nurses delivering day-to-day care.
About the role
Youll work closely with service users, families, carers and a wide range of professionals to assess needs, manage risk and develop detailed, individualised mental health and crisis plans.
Your clinical expertise will be particularly important when supporting people experiencing complex presentations, deterioration in mental state or periods of crisis.
Main duties of the job
You will:
Provide specialist clinical leadership for complex mental health service users in the community and specialised living settings across Manchester and Cheshire with remote service nationally
Conduct regular mental health assessments, risk assessments, psychological reviews and face-to-face home visits

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, the Clinical Lead Mental Health Nurse (RMN) has clinical accountability for complex mental health and psychological care service users on their caseload in the community. You will be instrumental in ensuring the safe deployment of appropriate staff to deliver a professional, safe, and person-centred service, adhering to Cera Care's Policy on Patient Safety and Risk Management, with a particular focus on psychological safety.

Our Triage department is the first point of call for all women coming or calling into the unit.
We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational midwife to transfer their existing skills and interests to our unit. Midwives that join our triage team are based in triage but may be required to be redeployed very occasionally to the delivery suite.
We have level 2 Baby friendly accreditation and rated "GOOD" at the last CQC inspection in July 2021.
As a trust, we care for approximately 6000 births every year and cover a very diverse population. This is an exciting opportunity for midwives, who are passionate about making a difference to join our team of highly skilled midwives in maternity.
We want to help you develop and enhance your skills and maximise your potential in all aspects of midwifery. Main duties of the job
Our maternity unit includes a Consultant Led Obstetric Unit - consisting of high risk labour and birth rooms (including one fixed birth pool room), High Dependency Care beds, 2 obstetric theatres and recovery areas, bereavement suite and maternity triage area.
Our newly opened Induction of Labour suite caters for all women attending for inpatient induction of labour and includes facilities for complementary therapies including reflexology.
We also have a 21 bedded postnatal ward and 14 bedded antenatal / transitional care ward.
The Serenity Midwife Led Unit, our award winning alongside birth centre, has five birth rooms and a dedicated assessment area to support 1200 births per year.

AMU and ward 4 are looking for enthusiastic Nursing Support Workers who wants to make a difference.
The Acute Medical Unit receives medical admissions from the Emergency Department . It is an extremely busy unit comprising of 20 beds with 8 assessment/triage trolleys. We also have a 28 bedded general medical ward attached to AMU (ward 4). We are one team and you will be allocated to work in both areas.
Exceptional team working is essential to this role, along with a warm and friendly bedside manner and the ability to work in a high-pressure area. Previous experience in a hospital/acute setting is beneficial but we accept applications from those without hospital care experience.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting the qualified nurses to meet the basic nursing needs of the patients in their care, as well as working from their own initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
You will need to have outstanding communication skills - you will be part of a team of fellow HCSW's, physician's assistants, qualified nurses and nurse practitioners, junior Doctors and consultants. You will be expected to communicate with these members of the team along with liaising with our ward clerks on admissions, transfers and discharges.
Your day to day routine will consist of but is not limited to: meeting patients hygiene and toileting needs, serving meals and assisting patients to eat and drink, taking and recording of vital observations, maintaining good levels of stock and PPE, assisting with wound dressings, disposing of hazardous waste safely and correctly and documenting in patients notes.
You will be expected to have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, due to being required to document about the patients skin and the taking and recording of vital signs.
There will be the opportunity to further develop with training and education, we enrol all of our HCSWs on to basic life support training.

This vacancy is for a new substantive 10PA post following the current postholder moving to a new post internally.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will provide senior psychiatric input into the Community Rehabilitation Team. This team formed in January 2026 bringing together the previously regional Community Rehabilitation Enhanced Support Team (CREST) and the Recovery Centre as part of the wider work to create a Complex Psychosis Pathway within the Trust.
The Complex Psychosis Pathway provides a whole system approach to Mental Health Rehabilitation and Assertive Community Treatment in Leeds, which includes Newsam Ward 5 (Level 2 Rehab & relocating to Parkside Lodge), Asket Croft and Asket House inpatient settings, (Level 1 Rehab), the Community Rehabilitation Team and Assertive Outreach Team. The pathway also includes Rehabilitation practitioners embedded within the Community Hubs providing early rehabilitative and reablement interventions and enabling transitions for service users between Community Services and more intensive Assertive Outreach and Community Rehabilitation Support. These are clinical delivery services.
The pathway includes an out of area /Trust case management role and mental health placement reviewer for people with complex psychosis who are placed in Level 2 rehabilitation Independent Hospitals outside of the Trust or in funded residential placements.

Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a full time (10 PAs) Consultant Psychiatrist in the East CMHT service based at St Mary's House. This vacancy is a result of a Consultant colleague's retirement. Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of specialist mental health and learning disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist services across York, the Yorkshire and Humber region, and some highly specialised national services.
Main duties of the job
Duties will be in line with those of a Consultant Psychiatrist in a community setting. The post holder will work with the MDT colleagues and other agencies to deliver safe and effective care to patients referred to secondary care with psychotic and mood disorders, trauma based presentations and personality disorder. The post holder will provide regular clinical reviews and provide clinical leadership to the MDT. Given the nature of the work, there will be responsibilities in relation to the Mental Health Act (CTOs). Post holder also provides supervision to junior medical staff. There will be a requirement for significant liaison with colleagues with Inpatient and Crisis services to facilitate transitions, planning care and discharge.

Main duties of the job
Undertake full Audiological assessments of patients and to assist in complex and non-routine cases such as those with multiple disabilities and severe communication difficulties. This include history taking and carrying out hearing and auditory function tests to include pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing and speech audiometry.
Carry out examination of the ear by Otoscopy in patients including complex cases, to identify the anatomy of an individual's ear, any abnormalities or pathology.

Job summary
We are looking for a senior clinical fellow who can cover the gap between our gynae oncology subspecialty training posts. After three successful consecutive senior clinical fellowships, we started subspecialty training for gynaecological oncology in August 2025.
Our first subspecialty trainee finishes their subspecialty training in May 2027. As we cannot get immediately reaccredited due to the nature of the reaccreditation process, we have introduced this interim 12-month senior clinical fellowship. Successful candidates will have a good chance of continuing subspecialty training once we have reaccredited. Reaccreditation is to be expected in August 2027.
The RUH Bath Gynaecological Cancer Centre serves a population of 1 million and treats more than 300 new cancers per annum. The gynaecological oncology team in Bath has four gynaeoncology consultant surgeons and one 'unit lead' consultant. We provide a wide range of gynaecological oncology services including maximal surgical effort cytoreductive surgery including HIPEC for ovarian cancer, sentinel node technologies for endometrial and vulval cancer, and robotic surgery. We currently have access to one 3-session day per week and one 2-session day per 4 weeks on the Da Vinci Xi.
Main duties of the job
This post is designed for candidates with previous experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology who wish to have further training in Gynaecological Oncology prior to applying for subspecialty training. It provides considerable experience in acute cancer presentations and the steps taken to manage and treat gynaecology oncology cancer patients. The role also allows the candidate to develop skills in surgical planning for complex patients and advanced surgical skill including robotic surgery and HIPEC. This would also be a great opportunity to achieve colposcopy accreditation. The successful candidate will be a key member of the MDT and given the opportunity to learn key skills in managing a case load and being responsible for the diagnostics, communication and management of patients with gynaecology cancers.
Research interests are encouraged and the successful candidate would be required to deliver quality improvement initiatives.
The resident doctors work on the middle grade rota and are contracted to cover each other during absence on annual and study leave. The middle grades are resident on-call. They are expected to take part in teaching midwives and junior medical staff and help to plan the teaching programmes. The successful candidate will undertake resident on-call (50% of WTE) covering obstetrics and gynaecology.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and evolving service focused on delivering high-quality ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments for NHS patients (both adults and children).
