About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and qualified Chefs (7061/2 or equivalent) to join our vibrant Catering Team on a Bank only basis. Working within our busy hospital kitchen and restaurant, you'll help deliver delicious, nutritious meals that support recovery, well being, and the daily experience of more than 750 patients, staff, and visitors.
As a Bank Chef, you will play a key part in our catering service by:

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse with either a level 6 diploma or have a post grad certificate in a long term condition to join our clinical team at Broomfield Park Medical Centre. This role offers an opportunity for a skilled nurse to work within a supportive general practice environment, delivering a broad range of nursing services to our registered patient population in Spon End area of Coventry.
The successful candidate will work alongside GPs and the wider practice team to provide planned and preventative care, support patients with long-term conditions and contribute to improving health outcomes within our community.

Main duties of the job
The Practice Nurse will provide a range of clinical services to patients registered with Broomfield Park Medical Centre, working as part of the wider healthcare team to deliver safe and effective care.
The post holder will undertake nursing assessments, develop care plans and support the management of patients with long-term conditions, including diabetes, respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease and hypertension. They will deliver preventative healthcare services including immunisations, cervical screening, NHS health checks and health promotion advice.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Research Practitioner/ Research Nurse to join the Stroke Research Centre is available at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role will support research delivery to all clinical studies on the portfolio in line with the aims of the National Institute for Health Research and the North London Research Delivery Network.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work closely with the Lead Research Practitioner and the Academic Research Lead to ensure successful research delivery to the stroke portfolio.
The post-holder will be responsible for identification and enrolment of eligible patients onto clinical trials from the Emergency Stroke Unit and the Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The post-holder will be expected to register / randomise patients onto study protocols and to prepare and administer investigational medicinal products as per trial protocol. The post holder will be responsible to ensure clinical trials are run in accordance with ICH-GCP, research protocols, Trust policies, local SOPs and all other regulatory standards.
Experience of working in a clinical research environment is essential for the role; ideally, the post-holder will have experience in a stroke environment. Nursing registration would be an advantage. The post-holder will need to demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to work flexibly and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research environment.

Main duties of the job

Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Surgical Specialties ICU and Thoracic

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic clinical pharmacist with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills to support a high-quality service to the Surgical Specialist Division based at Westmoreland Street. The post is full-time, as part of the wider UCLH Pharmacy team.
You will work as full time within the Surgical Specialties multidisciplinary team (MDT), delivering the highest quality service for both inpatients and outpatients, alongside the ICU, Thoracic and Urology consultants, clinical fellows, clinical nurse specialists, dietitians and other healthcare professionals.
UCH at Westmoreland Street offers comprehensive care for a spectrum of Urology and Thoracic services and is split into six sub-groups. The teams work closely together, along with other services such as the Assisted Conception Unit and Uro-radiology. Where possible, you will work to develop and enhance our existing systems, particularly where efficiency and productivity can be improved through our Electronic Health Records System, Epic, and the development of GP Connect.
You will work as part of our broader clinical pharmacy team and contribute to local and national initiatives to develop and enhance the pharmacy service.
Main duties of the job
Your duties will include collaborating closely with the Urology, Thoracic and ICU providing specialist advice to optimise patient care. You will use your non-medical prescribing skills in both the inpatient and outpatient setting to optimise the prescribing of specialist and supportive care medications.
The successful candidate will be joining the largest and most prestigious thoracic & urology department in the UK. We are a highly specialist team, seeing referrals from across the country and internationally. As a centre for excellence and research, you will have an opportunity to contribute to service development and quality improvement projects within urology and thoracic surgery teams.

We have an exciting opportunity foramidwife who is passionate about physiological birth and supporting women to birth at home to join our Team of experienced home birth midwives. We are Artemis Home Birth, an established continuity team for women and their families who are planning home births.We provide all our care at home from booking throughout the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods. We have a named consultant obstetrician and are supported by the wider MDT team including our specialist and consultant midwives. You will be a B6 midwife with significant experience of all aspects of midwifery care.You will need to be a confident and competent autonomous practitioner and able to demonstrate understanding, kindness and compassion for a caseload that includes women choosing to birth outside of guidance.You will be supported by the Team at every step of your journey. We'd like you to be NIPE trained and have NLS certification but can support you to gain these if not yet achieved.You will need to be a car owner/driver.
Main duties of the job
Some of the key duties of the job include:
o Fundamentally required to undertake all clinical activities that are required of a midwife
o Responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care in accordance with best practice

Job summary
Are you an experienced Medical secretary looking for a challenging role where your skills truly make a difference? This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive medical secretarial team with Diabetes and Endocrinology at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, supporting our Diabetes and Endocrinology consultants and wider clinical teams.
Main duties of the job
You will be an integral part of a busy secretarial team, working closely to support Diabetes and Endocrinology Consultants and clinical teams.
In this role, you will manage a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including handling emails, telephone calls, diary management, and general office duties. You will also take on more complex tasks such as managing patient care pathways, clinic scheduling and managing patient waiting lists.
You will interact daily with clinicians, patients, carers, health professionals (both internal and external), and colleagues, which will be a key part of your role. You will need to show initiative and ensure communication is applicable and relevant.
As a member of the Diabetes and Endocrinology team, you will provide dedicated support for three consultants and their clinical teams.
This position demands excellent organisational skills, along with both the ability to work independently as well as working closely within the team. You must be able to prioritise a busy workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy, and be able to adapt flexibly to meet service demands. A commitment to delivering outstanding patient-focused service is essential.
This is a part-time role, working 30 hours a week. A working pattern will be agreed with the post holder upon appointment.

Montague Medical Practice is looking to recruit a Practice Nurse for 20 hours per week.

Main duties of the job
To carry out the role of a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician at LUHFT you will need to complete our in-house Medicines Management and Medication History Taking training programmes.
We have full time (37.5 hours) band 5 Pharmacy Technician vacancies in our team working alongside pharmacists and pharmacy assistants in a number of specialities including, Emergency Medicine, Older Persons Care, Critical Care and many other specialities. You will work as part of the pharmacy team to help deliver a high standard of medicines optimisation to designated wards. You will be responsible for the delivery of safe and cost effective pharmaceutical care to newly admitted patients, as well as facilitating efficient discharge and transfer of patients.
Working between wards and satellite pharmacies you will need to have excellent organisational skills in order to undertake this role. You must be able to work accurately, have a good eye for detail, and be able to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and be committed to the delivery of high standards in a patient focused service.
We are open every day of the year, our rota's include weekends, bank holidays and late nights.

Job summary
To provide day to day logistical management of all the Surgical instruments, used with the Trust, which directly contributes to the smooth and efficient running of the Operating Theatres and quality patient care by ensuring that all surgical instruments, used with the various theatres areas are made available for use in a timely manner.
In addition, the post holder will also order new instruments and oversee the repair and replacement of instruments, to ensure instruments are always available and in exceptional working order. High standards of quality and safety and excellent communication skills are vital to this role.
Main duties of the job
Daily communication with the Sterile Services Decontamination team to identify instruments needed as a priority or next day use.
Daily communication with other instrument coordinators within the other hospital theatre areas for to arrange transport of instrument between the hospitals on an ad hoc basis and their return following use.
To oversee that any surgical instruments which are broken, blunt or defective are sent off to specialist repairs companies and following their return are put back immediately into circulation without delay.
To receive "Loaned In" surgical instruments for specialist surgery and ensure these are sent to the Decontamination unit for cleaning, sterilization and returned ready for use.
Maintain records on instrument repairs, and activity of both Trusts owned and loan instrument use.
Although based at Broadgreen & Royal it is required flexibility to work across all sites - RLH, B/G & Aintree, covering for Staff Leave.
Post is a weekly Monday to Friday shift 8am - 4pm.

An exciting opportunity as emerged to join the Oxleas Adult Autism Service as we seek to appoint a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our service within the new Community Autism Service (CAS) and the Autism Acute Support Team (AAST) working with Autistic adults with complex mental health difficulties and without a learning disability.
CAS is a newly established service focused on delivering specialist community-based support to autistic adults without a learning disability and without a mental health condition that would make them eligible for other services. AAST is a long-established service supporting autistic adults without a learning disability who are admitted to acute care due to a mental health crisis.
The post will be split across both teams, with a strong emphasis on close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and on delivering high-quality assessment and intervention for individuals with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
Main duties of the job

To manage own caseload of patients within CAS and AAST

To line manage/clinically supervise SaLT Co-workers, SaLT Assistant and SaLT Students as needed
