Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
The Clinical Education Manager will be responsible for the leadership, management and development of the regional clinical education service across Clinical Education, EOC Education and Driving Education.
The post holder will lead multi-disciplinary education teams across multiple counties, ensuring effective delivery of clinical education, statutory and mandatory training, onboarding activity and workforce development priorities. They will provide senior leadership to Education Team Leaders and specialist education leads, supporting staff performance, development, wellbeing and professional standards.
The role will be clinically accountable for the safety, quality and professional standards of education delivered within the region. This will include ensuring education is evidence based, aligned to Trust clinical guidance and delivered by competent and supported educators.

This post holder will work within the pharmacy operational team supplying medicines to wards and teams within Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, they will be supported by a registered pharmacy technician to study towards an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services if not already achieved. If achieved or when achieved, we have a fully supported progression plan in place from Band 2 to Band 3 Pharmacy Support Worker Higher Level.
There will be the opportunity to continually learn new skills and build on personal development skills.

Job summary
At Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust we have an exciting opportunity for a senior medicine management assistant who has previous experience of working in either a hospital or community pharmacy and has a minimum of a NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy services or equivalent to work within our clinical pharmacy team. This post is being advertised due to the current post holder starting a pre registration trainee pharmacy technician role within the department.
The role will focus on providing a safe supply of medicines to our patients during their inpatient admission, reducing medication waste and carrying out governance audits to inpatient wards at Kingsway Hospital and Radbourne unit with occasion working on our inpatient wards at Derwent Unit and Walton Hospital. Visits to community mental health bases will also be undertaken to carry out quarterly medicine management audits.
Regular weekly sessions within the pharmacy dispensary or distribution area at Kingsway Hospital will be required.
Main duties of the job
Ward-based medicines management
- Undertake inpatient repeat top-ups, process medication orders through the electronic prescribing system for supply.
- Check ward medicine stocks and identify shortages and reorder.
- Support appropriate storage, security and organisation of medicines.
- Help reduce medicine wastage and identify opportunities to return or reuse medicines appropriately.
- Support the pharmacy team with ward-based medicines management, ensuring medicine information, resources, posters are up to date to support patient care.
2. Medicines governance and audit
- Complete medicines management governance audits on inpatient wards and community teams.
- Check compliance with medicines storage and management standards.
- Record findings and escalate issues to the Medicines Management Pharmacy Technicians and Ward Managers
- Support implementation of actions arising from audits.
- Complete trust Datix incidents
- Escalate discrepancies or concerns to the appropriate pharmacy professional.
- Work directly with ward staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Job summary
We are looking for a 0.8 WTE Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join the Pain Management and Rehabilitation Service based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Heavitree), in Exeter.
The role is dynamic and challenging. The post holder would work closely with members of a multidisciplinary Pain Management Service including other Clinical Psychologists, Consultant Specialists, Nurses, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. They will also be part of the wider Clinical Health Psychology & Neuropsychology services to the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH). The post-holder will also benefit from established links with Exeter and Plymouth Universities, with opportunities for teaching, supervision, CPD and research.
The post involves working alongside the other psychologists in the pain psychology service in delivering assessments and individual psychological therapies for people with persistent pain. The psychology team is embedded within the multidisciplinary Pain Management Rehabilitation Team (Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy) and works closely with consultant and nursing colleagues in the wider Pain Management Team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to MDT meetings, work with other professionals and be involved in delivering group interventions.

Main duties of the job
The post will provide clinical input across a range of care pathways and interventions including; joint MDT assessments, psychology triage clinics, individual psychological therapy, and group based approaches. You will be interested in developing skills in compassion focussed, ACT or other appropriate psychological therapies.
The service has developed innovative approaches to patient care including compassion focussed methods of delivery for patients with persistent pain. Clinical outcomes data is routinely collected and there will be opportunities for involvement in service related research.

Job Purpose
The principal purpose of the job is to improve the psychological health & wellbeing of people with persistent pain and related disorders who attend the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Heavitree) (RDUH) Pain Management Service.
This will be achieved in this post by:
Providing a Clinical Psychology and Psychological Therapies service to the Pain Management Service at the RDUH.This formsa key component of integrated mental health and wellbeing services within the Royal Devon University HealthCare NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
The Medical Equipment Management Service (MEMS) are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join the medical equipment contracts team, located at Kings College Hospital Denmark Hill. MEMS provides a comprehensive service to Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, including clinical engineering, medical equipment library services on two sites, in-house repair services and device training. The medical equipment contracts team are part of Clinical Engineering, with responsibility for establishing and maintaining appropriate levels of cover for medical devices maintained through external providers.
You will need to be a team player, be able to work independently and prioritise your workload. Flexibility is essential to accommodate the constantly changing demands of a very busy service. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, with technical understanding of medical devices to degree level or equivalent. Experience of medical equipment management is desirable.
You will have good written and verbal skills and be able to communicate clearly. You must have knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the field of medical equipment management, with experience of using an asset management system.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be actively involved and support the Contracts Manager in ensuring that the Trust wide maintenance contracts relating to biomedical, laboratory & imaging equipment are managed to a high standard to maximise cost and patient benefits, within the required time frames and across various sites. Job summary
Here on McElwain Ward at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton, we are looking for a housekeeper to join our busy Unit treating children who have been diagnosed with Cancer. You would need to be enthusiastic, organized, and methodical in your approach to work. You would be responsible for ordering ward stores and equipment and maintaining stock levels of the same as well as ensuring high standards of hygiene throughout the ward in conjunction with our cleaning team. You would be able to work well within a team and perform well in stressful situations. This is an active role and the suitable candidate would be required to convey samples to the laboratory where they may also be responsible for collecting blood products for delivery to the ward. There are occasions when haste is essential and prioritizing workload is of the utmost importance.
Main duties of the job
The Ward Housekeeper will work as an integral part of the ward team. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities/services in the ward area and for ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
The main elements of this role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs, as determined by the ward sister/charge nurse. The postholder will be required to work closely with contractors and support services departments. You will monitor quality standards and rectify deficiencies.
