Job summary
NHS Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Programme Manager (Estates) to play a key role in delivering our ambitious Estates Infrastructure Strategy and supporting the shift from hospital-based care towards integrated, preventative services delivered closer to home.
You will manage a varied and high-profile portfolio of work across a complex partnership landscape, working with Place teams, providers, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), local authorities and wider system partners.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of health and care infrastructure across Greater Manchester. The role will help ensure that the health and care estate enables improved health outcomes, supports neighbourhood-based models of care, reduces health inequalities, and maximises opportunities for collaborative use of public sector assets.
You will support estate optimisation programmes, improve utilisation of existing assets, and help ensure the estate delivers best value for public investment. The portfolio is diverse and evolving, requiring a flexible and proactive approach.
Main duties of the job
The role will lead and support a varied portfolio of work across Greater Manchester, including:
Delivery of the NHS GM Estates Infrastructure Strategy.
Supporting the development of Neighbourhood Health Centres and integrated community facilities.
Leading estate optimisation, utilisation reviews and estate rationalisation programmes.
Supporting major refurbishment, redevelopment and new-build projects.
Developing business cases and strategic estates plans informed by data, evidence and service need.
Managing key relationships with NHS Property Services, Community Health Partnerships and other strategic partners.
You will have significant experience of estates management and a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex, high-value programmes. You will be able to work confidently across organisational boundaries, influencing senior stakeholders and translating strategic ambitions into deliverable programmes of work and outcomes.

Job summary
The Service Desk Officer will provide a proficient NHS GM Digital & IT support service across the customer base. Provide in-depth technical remote support for all end-user equipment, systems and software supported by the IT Service. Support will be carried out in accordance with the customer's Service Level Agreement as well as the departmental guidelines and policies in the most efficient way.
The Service Desk Officer is the first point of contact for all customers and is responsible for ensuring all service requests and incidents are logged and managed appropriately. The IT Service Desk Officer will have diagnostic and fault-finding knowledge/skills and a broad range of IT knowledge as required. Administrative tasks in support of the service are also performed.
The post holder is responsible for conducting the Incident Management, Request Fulfilment and Configuration Management processes to mandated policy and procedures.
Main duties of the job
Provide high quality and detailed first line technical support to internal policies and procedures based on recognised ITIL good practice for all customers seeking support, advice and assistance on all supported IT Systems and infrastructure.
Handle queries by telephone, self-service portal, email and face to face from users to provide detailed advice, guidance and resolutions for system problems to all customers in the effective use of systems, products and services available to them; demonstrates ingenuity in applying knowledge to non-standard situations.
Use remote access tools, have the ability to detect, diagnose and resolve a high level of customer issues to reduce the need to travel to site. Where possible, the post-holder will minimise disruption to users' workflow by resolving reported incidents immediately using initiative to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ensure that all customer/user requests and all actions taken in response to customer/user requests are recorded accurately and in detail using the service management (call management) system used by the IT Shared Service.
Provide day-to-day system administration and support for systems managed by the IT Service.
Participate in IT Projects as required to support the implementation of new systems, services or infrastructure.

The IDCR Service is supported remotely and is centrally based.The role will be based from Salford (currently working from home) where the IDCR Team is located and could be required to operate from another base in the Greater Manchester area. Travel is required as a part of this role.

Job summary
The Service Desk Officer will provide a proficient NHS GM Digital & IT support service across the customer base. Provide in-depth technical remote support for all end-user equipment, systems and software supported by the IT Service. Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

The post is responsible for providing professional expertise for mental health to the outcome of commissioning business processes for the Department or Directorate.
The post-holder will solely be responsible for the commissioning of complex mental health and learning disability care packages for patients for whom GMICB holds a commissioning responsibility under S.117 and act as complex case lead for all intensive rehabilitation placements, secure placements and Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) placements commissioned by the ICS.
The post holder will be responsible for negotiation the commissioning of joint packages of care under S.117 with the relevant local authorities, where GMICB is the responsible commissioner. This includes resolving disputes regarding who is the responsible commissioner and negotiating funding splits between multiple organizations both within arbitration and legal settings. This is a varied and fast paced role providing all aspects of administrative support to the NHS Individualised Commissioning Team which includes the nursing team, senior managers.
