Job summary

Support the ward manager & provide clinical leadership including supervision of staff, audit & research, clinical governance, development of evidence-based guidelines & training/education
Role model compassionate & inclusive leadership
A Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice including completion of a non-medical prescribing qualification & independent advanced clinical skills is essential aspart of the Tier 1 rota
Identify sick infants who subsequently require management on the SCBU including initial assessment, stabilisation, & management, including passive cooling, ventilation, fluids, drug therapy & other resultant treatments. They will work closely with Paediatric Consultants & other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Role model to all staff & part of the senior team to improve & maintain standards & provide comprehensive advice and guidance to all departments.
To manage & lead complex situations in the absence of paediatric medical cover, making judgements involving complex facts, requiring analysis & interpretation to monitor & evaluate outcomes in patient-centred care.
To undertake nurse-led initiatives & procedures according to set protocols & procedures.
Main duties of the job
Advanced clinical practice is delivered by experienced, registered nurse/midwives. It is a level of practice with a high degree of autonomy and complex decision making. This is underpinned by a Master's degree that encompasses the 4 pillars of:
- clinical practice
- leadership & management
- education
- research,
The Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will:
- Use advanced knowledge and skills in Neonatal care to undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, make decisions based on clinical reasoning and initiate, evaluate, and modify a range of interventions.
- Provide professional senior clinical leadership and support within the specialty multi professional team and across service boundaries.
- Support the wider team to build capacity and capability through work-based and interprofessional learning, and the application of learning to practice. Act as a role model, educator, supervisor, coach, and mentor
- Lead clinical audits and critically engage in research activity using the results to underpin own practice, inform the practice of others and make organisational recommendations.
- Provide a proactive, effective holistic service for newborn infants on SCBU, delivery-suite and postnatal wards. This includes responsibility for the clinical care and management for babies in SCBU.
Assume lead clinical oversight for transitional care babies on the postnatal ward, NIPE screening and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve the aim of reducing avoidable admissions to the SCBU.

Post holders will work within our hub located at Gatton Place, Redhill located across the Trust providing a single point of access for all emergency, urgent and routine referrals. Main duties of the job

Job summary
The Specialist Community Forensic Team provides support and intervention to service users transitioning from secure care to the community and provides care pathway management to all secure service users with a mental illness diagnosis.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking two experienced Organisational Development Consultants to support the delivery of the Trust's Strategic People Plan and drive sustainable organisational change. Working closely with the Chief People Officer, Director of Education and Workforce Leadership team, the postholder will lead and deliver Trust-wide OD initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, improve organisational culture, and support effective organisational redesign.

Main duties of the job
Lead and deliver a portfolio of organisational development and change initiatives aligned to the Trust's Strategic People Plan and wider NHS priorities.

Job summary
This role is funded by the NIHR funded UK Dementia Trials Network (UKDTN), supported as part of the Alzheimer's Society UKDTN Research Nurse Programme, and hosted by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The Alzheimer's Society UKDTN Lead Clinical Research Nurse is a senior clinical leadership role responsible for leading the delivery and development of early phase dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) CTIMP and ATIMP clinical trials.
The post holder will lead the delivery of a high-quality early phase dementia clinical trials portfolio, ensuring compliance with ICH-Good Clinical Practice (GCP), UK Clinical Trial Regulations, the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, and local Research & Development requirements. They will provide clinical and operational leadership to the research nursing team, support workforce development through education and mentorship, and act as a clinical expert and ambassador for the Alzheimer's Society UKDTN Research Nurse Programme, promoting research as an integral part of the dementia care pathway.
The post holder will contribute to regional and national research priorities, workforce development and UKDTN and Alzheimer's Society initiatives that may require travel within the local region and occasional UK-wide travel to support programme activities and network meetings.

Elmbridge Neighbourhood Mental health Team in the Complex Needs pathway is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic community mental health nurse (NMC) to join our team. The team is moving through a transition to an All-Age Neighbourhood Mental Health Team to provide more joined up mental health care for our community.
As part of our multi-disciplinary team, the successful applicant will deliver comprehensive assessments and a variety of approaches, interventions, and treatments to individuals experiencing severe and enduring mental health issues, supporting them in their personal recovery journey.

Main duties of the job
The post includes Supervising and Appraising Band 3 Administrative colleagues, general office duties consisting of inputting patient details on electronic record system (SystmOne), using ESR systems, supporting clinical staff, filing, photocopying, sorting post, scanning and uploading documents, liaising with patients, GPs and medics, stationary & clinical supplies, scribing various meeting notes dealing with enquiries by email and letter, telephone and typing letters.
There will be a requirement to work with databases including Microsoft Excel and Power BI and from part of our Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will have excellent clerical and typing skills and be able to communicate effectively with both patients and staff. Although not essential, knowledge of SystmOne and ESR would be desirable.

The Contracts Manager will play a key role in supporting the North East London Procurement Partnership (NELPP) to deliver effective contract management across an agreed portfolio on behalf of partner NHS organisations. The Southwest Op Courage Veterans Mental Health Service operates across the entire Southwest and has an operational base in Weston-Super-Mare. The service is one of six national NHS England commissioned Op Courage services and is delivered by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. Op Courage provides a complete care pathway and is delivered by an experienced and committed Multi-Disciplinary Team.
The pathway starts with a comprehensive needs-led conversation and is followed by evidence-based interventions/treatment for a wide range of need and complexity, including complex mental health difficulties and psychological trauma.
The service is currently looking to recruit a Band 6 Specialist Practitioner to work across Devon and Cornwall so the postholder will need to live within this area and be mobile; however, on occasions, it will be necessary to work outside this area in order to support service delivery and to attend team meetings.
The service is delivered via a hybrid working model which includes using clinical spaces, hot-desks and homeworking. Clinical appointments are delivered face to face or virtually, in line with patient choice and clinical/operational need, so some lone working will be required.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will need strong clinical skills in mental health assessment, safety assessment and safety planning and the ability to provide therapeutic interventions;deliver or advise on outstanding nursing care that reflects the values of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code and AWP's commitment to trauma-informed practice. This includes fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and inclusion in every interaction.
Your role will involve leading on holistic assessments, collaboratively developing Personal Wellbeing Plans, and evaluating outcomes with service users, their families, and the wider MDT.
You will act as a keyworker for patients, coordinating all aspects of care and communication for the person, their family members and carers, and the services that are involved. You will maintain regular contact with the person and their family members and carers and specify this in their Personal Wellbeing plan. You will support the physical and mental health of those in your care, uphold their human rights, and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment. You will also provide guidance and supervision to junior colleagues and students, modelling compassionate leadership and reflective practice.
You will be expected to provide mentorship for student nurses, provide preceptorship and supervision for Band 5 nurses and supervise other junior staff as directed Accurate and sensitive documentation will be a key part of your role ensuring continuity and quality of care.
