Job description
Job responsibilities
In the UK health sector, most providers are only offering half the solution. Some deliver primary and urgent NHS care. Others build healthcare properties. OneMedical Group (OMG) is the only organisation in the UK that does both under one roof. For over 20 years, we've been innovating UK healthcare.
As a family business, our founders remain at the heart of our day-to-day work, instilling an agile, human-first culture built on speed, trust, and adaptability. Because we design, build, and manage healthcare spaces and deliver high-quality frontline NHS care, we bring a level of value to NHS commissioners and healthcare partners that no one else can match.
We are on an ambitious growth journey and we're looking for a commercially driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager to open doors, shape high-value partnerships, and drive our expansion. This is a high-impact business development and strategic growth position.
We're looking for a genuine new business winner who creates opportunities rather than waits for them. You'll become one of the key faces of OneMedical Group, opening doors and building multi-million-pound commercial partnerships across the UK.
As a key growth engine for the business, you will:
- Drive Regional Strategy: Build and execute an ambitious business development strategy to target commissioners, healthcare partners, and strategic stakeholders.
- Prospect & Convert: Prospect, network, and generate high-value pipelines from scratch across NHS care delivery and healthcare estate solutions.
- Lead Complex Deals: Lead opportunities through qualification, bid development, negotiation, and contract award alongside our Bid, Finance, Clinical, and Property teams.
- Champion the Brand: Position OMG as the UK's most innovative, trusted partner for integrated healthcare and estates solutions.
- Manage Pipeline & Intelligence: Maintain accurate CRM tracking and market intelligence to ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
What you will bring:
- A demonstrable track record of winning new business and converting cold leads into commercial wins.
- Proven capability in securing significant, high-value contracts (ideally 6/7 figures) within healthcare, public sector, or complex B2B markets.
- The resilience and commercial grit required to build pipelines from scratch and navigate long deal cycles.
- Top-tier negotiation skills with the confidence to build trusted, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and commissioners.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within your network.
What We Offer
- Base Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on experience)
- Bonus: Performance-related bonus scheme aligned to commercial growth and objectives
- Flexibility: Hybrid working model where suitable
- Care & Well-being: 24/7 Remote GP access for you and your immediate family, plus EAP support via Health Assured
- Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (increasing with service), plus an additional day off for your work anniversary
- Perks: NHS employee discounts, Cycle to Work, Eye Care, Refer-a-Friend schemes, and Company Pension
When you join OneMedical Group, you will become part of an organisation that is committed to helping you grow, make a meaningful contribution and thrive in your career.
