You will provide a comprehensive and efficient secretarial and administrational service within Neurosciences. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Clinical Administrator to join our Neurosurgery team to provide direct secretarial support to two Neurosurgery Consultants, working together to provide an efficient and quality service to a complex patient group. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work alongside Senior Medical Secretaries, and other Clinical Administrators, carrying out secretarial duties which will include, but are not limited to; data entry, making and receiving telephone calls, clinical and non-clinical typing, use of the hospital patient administration system, co-ordination of patient's records/test results, co-ordination of outpatient clinics, diary management.
The successful candidate will provide direct support to a team of Consultants and Specialist Nurses, ensuring effective diary management and ensuring clinical documentation is completed in a timely manner. Processing of referrals and direct patient enquiries is also a requirement of the role, communicating with Carers and multi-disciplinary teams as per clinical requirement. Management of patient tracking lists and accurate recording of RTT pathways will be required, amongst other necessary task such as attending MDT meetings and recording outcomes when asked.

Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated obstetrician with an interest in intrapartum care and high-risk obstetrics. The appointee will be joining a team of obstetricians with special interests in all aspects of complex maternity care. We are looking for an individual with the clinical skills and enthusiasm necessary to join and make a significant contribution to this team. This is a replacement appointment to support the current establishment of 14 WTE consultants (on a 1:12 on call rota). Candidates should be aware that additional posts have been approved by Trust Board with a view to expansion of the team over the next 2 years. The expansion will allow delivery of 52 week antenatal clinic services and support consultant roles in governance, quality improvement and teaching. Expansion of the team to 16WTE will enable team members to more easily take on regional/ national leadership roles, as well as giving the team resilience around pre-retirement career plans and supporting flexible working for colleagues.

Times may occur when there is a need to work across site at the Freeman Hospital, both dispensaries have the advantage of automated robotic dispensing to facilitate the dispensing of a wide range of prescriptions and orders to various specialties across the Trust.

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic clinician to join our workforce as Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in our Cancer Services at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care based at the Freeman Hospital. The role will support the Breast Cancer Oncology Services, working as an increasingly independent practitioner responsible for patient treatment and holistic patient centered care.
You should already hold a Band 8a qualification (following completion of an advanced practice MSc including non-medical prescribing and clinical skills modules) and have recent experience in oncology.

Newcastle Specials and Pharmacy Production Unit is housed in the purpose built Production and Quality Control facility on the Royal Victoria Infirmary site with a Cytotoxic Dispensing Unit based on NCCC, Freeman Hospital.
A core team of twelve pharmacists and seventy technical staff provide the Pharmacy Production Service across the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Freeman Hospital sites. Services provided comprise a range of activities from non-sterile manufacture to the aseptic dispensing of chemotherapy.

Main duties of the job
- You will join our large team of staff working in busy department providing an efficient pharmaceutical service to patients.
- As part of the unlicensed team your main duties will include the assembly and disinfection of pharmaceutical starting materials prior to preparation, and as part of the licensed team your main duties would be pharmaceutical manufacture of sterile and non-sterile products. Post holders will also be involved in monitoring and preparation of facilities, and stock management.
- It is essential that applicants have GCSE's (minimum Grade 4 or equivalent) in English Language and mathematics. Please ensure that GCSE equivalent grades are recorded on application form, and be prepared to provide evidence of grades at interview.
- An accredited training will be provided and there is a commitment to study for a GPhC approved level 2 qualification.
