Job summary
Longrove Surgery are looking for a General Practice Assistant (GPA) to join the team. The applicant must have experience in working with the NHS, have good computer skills and offer excellent customer service. A candidate who has undertaken the General Practice Assistant course for Primary Care is preferable, however this is not essential.
Our GPAs are key contributors in supporting the smooth running of the practice by providing internal administrative support necessary for the practice team to meet the needs of and caring for our patients. This role provides an accessible, safe and effective line of communication for patients. The purpose of this supporting role is to ensure that our patients receive an all-around excellent experience.
Main duties of the job

We are a friendly, supportive training practice in North London. We currently have 8 salaried GPs, 5 GP Partners and a Management Partner. We also have nurses, HCAs and a pharmacist in our clinical team.
We are a training practice and have approximately 17,500 patients.
We are located in a Primary Care Health Centre and are looking to expand our administration team. We have a large admin team to assist the clinicians which includes GP Assistants, Prescription Clerks and Medical Secretaries.
Our practice is part of a Primary Care Network and actively involved in a range of schemes and services to provide high quality to the local population.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a hard-working person to join our deep clean team. You will be based at Kendray Hospital in Barnsley but work trust wide, deep cleaning our sites. The role involves hand and machinery cleaning of hospital premises and wards. Experience would be great, but training will be provided for the right candidate. We use trust vehicles to get around our many sites, so a full clean driving licence is essential. Shifts are normally Monday to Friday but will also include some weekends and Bank Holidays. Shifts are normally 6AM 2PM although we do work as late as 3PM 11PM in certain areas. Shift times will occasionally change at short notice. Flexibility is key in this role.
Duties include
Hand and machine internal deep cleaning of trust properties.
Outbreak infection control cleans.
Using mechanical cleaning equipment such as scrubbing machines, carpet cleaners, high vacuums and steam cleaners.

JOB SUMMARY:
The post holder will:
Be part of a comprehensive domestic cleaning service at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Perform domestic duties including deep clean in line with National Cleaning Standards and Operational Procedures.
Assist in the provision and maintenance of a high quality, customer responsive service by providing general linen service duties.
1.1 KEY RESULT AREAS:
To be responsible to a high standard of cleanliness in clinical areas, offices, public areas and external areas using the appropriate recognised cleaning methods.
Responsible for advanced and deep cleaning projects including internal and external windows, carpets and high level dusting (dependant on work area)
Responsible for identifying areas to be cleaned, plan and organise a cleaning programme with relevant ward or departmental staff, ensuring patient, staff and visitor safety is not compromised.
Operating cleaning equipment, machinery in accordance with manufacturers instruction ensuring that it is in a good clean working order, reporting faults immediately to supervisor.
Use the correct use of PPE appropriate to the area and task undertaken in line with Trust policies. Ensuring the colour coded equipment used is appropriate to the area and task undertaken.
Change curtains on rotation or in the event of infection.
Follow policy and run all water taps/showers in designated areas on a daily basis and record on checklist.
Check out spot cleaning to ensure spillages and incidents are dealt with swiftly and efficiently, supported by clinical staff as appropriate.
To adhere to all relevant COSHH assessments and safety data sheets when preparing, using and disposing of cleaning chemicals.
To have a good understanding of COSHH and to report any issues to your supervisor.
Assist patients to feel at ease in the hospital environment, responding to directional requests, referring enquiries to the appropriate staff.
Report any damaged furniture, fittings, equipment and decor to supervisor.
Check and report out of date portable appliance testing dates to supervisor for rectification.
Report any infestation sightings to the supervisor.
Responsible for maintaining, rotating domestic stock levels, requesting stock for areas and ensuring safe storage.

Maintain and update paper based records and information as required, including but not limited to timesheets, cleaning rectification records etc.
Respond to initial complaints, taking appropriate action as required.
Perform assigned duties in the event of a major incident in line with Trust Policy.
Ensure that the required National Standards of Cleanliness and hygiene are maintained, rectifying any defects.
Operate and use equipment and various cleaning agents when safe to do so and having received full training to Trust/National Standards.
Maintain all equipment in a clean condition, reporting any malfunctioning or broken equipment as appropriate.
Maintain accurate documentation using appropriate documents/systems in accordance with local and Trust standards.
Open and/or close unit, set alarm, check security of building as required.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders (colleagues, patients, visitors, managers and other staff) especially when there are barriers to understanding, eg care of the confused patient, care of patients with forms of dementia, care of patients with behavioural problems.
To maintain the cleanliness of the working environment to National Cleanliness Standards.
To ensure the correct use of laundry bags with particular regard to soiled infectious linen and laundry (dependant on area of work).
To receive, check, sort and distribute clean linen to wards and departments daily (dependant on area of work).
To order stock and control linen levels so that adequate supplies are maintained as per laundry contract (dependant on area of work).
Ensure quality inspections are maintained and recorded following deliveries of linen (dependant on area of work).

Job summary
Due to organisational growth we currently have vacancies for Advanced Nurse Practitioners to work in our Extended Access service.
The primary focus of the role is work as an autonomous advanced practitioner providing high quality and timely patient centred care.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral and discharge of a diverse range of patients with minor injuries/minor illnesses, without reference to a doctor and within their level of competence and agreed protocols.
This job role is aligned to that of a traditional in-hours Advanced Nurse Practitioner working in General Practice and has fundamental differences to that of the Out of Hours ANP Role.
Main duties of the job
- Act as an advanced practitioner, demonstrating advanced clinical competence and a knowledge base beyond those associated with conventional nursing roles.
- See pre-booked nursing appointments as if working in a conventional GP Surgery
Triage patients
- Undertake consultations, both face to face and via the telephone, with patients of all ages (neonate to elderly) as an autonomous practitioner and using own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer and/or discharge patients
- Make direct referrals to primary, secondary and social services within our agreed pathways, guidance and protocols.

Working within the Community Services Department (Diabetes and Endocrinology) based in Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital the post holder will be part of a highly motivated and dynamic Multidisciplinary Team. Main duties of the job
As a Physicians Associate you will provide care for patients including clinical assessments, diagnosis and treatment under the mentorship of a consultant.
The successful candidate will be autonomous, a team player and will be expected to work with the wider practice team to deliver services to meet the needs of the patients. The ability to multi-task and to work under pressure is essential and you must also be adaptable to a varied and high volume workload.
Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications, an understanding of GDPR and maintaining strict confidentiality in the healthcare setting are all essential together with excellent organisational and communication skills, flexibility approach to work and good time management.
Education and supervision is available through accredited and in-house training and the successful applicant will be supported by experienced trainers and clinical mentors. The level and type of supervision will be dependent on the post-holders skills and knowledge. A comprehensive induction plan will be tailored for successful candidate.

The position is based on a Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm working pattern, with a hybrid arrangement of three days per week at Hafan Derwen and two days working from home.

We require a fully qualified Plumber. You should be qualified to City and Guilds Advanced standard or equivalent NVQ level 3 and have served a recognised apprenticeship or undergone modern training to an equivalent standard.

The Nursing Support Worker contributes to the patients' recovery pathway in a number of key ways. They provide the patients with role modelling as regards effective and reciprocal communication and relationships.
Multi disciplinary assessments and mutually agreed Care and Treatment Plans rely heavily on information gained via the direct patient contact that the Nursing Support Workers provide.
Main duties of the job
Mental Health Services in Carmarthenshire are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Nursing Support Workers to join the inpatient team on Bryngofal Ward (Adult Acute Inpatient).
