Main Duties of the Job Provide high-quality, compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (e.g., personal care, nutrition, hygiene). Provide enhanced support to patients as directed by the Nurse in Charge Build therapeutic, trust-based relationships with patients who have experienced significant trauma. Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to implement and review patient care plans. Use de-escalation and safe physical intervention techniques where required to maintain safety. Escort and support patients during appointments, community access, and therapeutic activities. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation (e.g., vital signs, food and fluid charts, incident reports). Promote infection control, safeguarding, and health and safety standards across the ward. Contribute to structured therapeutic programmes and group activities. Always uphold professional boundaries, patient dignity, and confidentiality.

Queensway Hospital is a Mental Health service in association with the Ellern Mede Group We provide individualised, person-centred care for our patients. Our multidisciplinary team (MDT) collaborates with patients, families, and professionals to enhance mental health and wellbeing. Care is delivered across the spacious Elizabeth Ward, with Elizabeth Lower downstairs and Elizabeth Upper upstairs. Paediatric Diabetes is a small, dedicated team within the Paediatric Service, comprising a Consultant Paediatric Diabetes Lead, PDSNs', Children's' Paediatric Specialist Dietitian, Child Psychologist, and administration support.
The function of the team is to deliver a complete multi-disciplinary approach to the diabetic children's service with a desire to drive forward the current service. To deliver on national targets ensuring diabetic children receive excellent care at every contact.
The team have strong links with the adult diabetes team to provide continuing care for young people with diabetes
Main duties of the job
o Act as a clinical expert and professional resource for children, family and carers and members of the multi-professional team, within speciality of Paediatric Diabetes. o Work cohesively with other PDSNs' and colleagues within the diabetes team to ensure the development and delivery of a high-quality service.o Deliver high quality, clinically effective care, and patient experience, utilising research and in collaboration with colleagues in everyday practice.o Act as a role model and clinical resource demonstrating high standards of care and providing clinical leadership in the specialist area.o Support the development and delivery of a programme of practice and professional development for staff within the speciality.

We are looking for doctors with post foundation experience to work at Junior Registrar (ST3) level in Emergency Medicine.
The posts are for 6- or 12-months duration, full time, commencing5thAugust 2026. The post is at Denmark Hill ED which is a designated Major Trauma Centre (SE5 9RS)
Successful candidates will join a dynamic emergency workforce treating a wide spectrum of emergency medicine presentations. This is a great opportunity to broaden your experience while working in a friendly and supportive environment.
There is a strong training culture incorporating lecture-room teaching and clinical supervision, opportunities to attend relevant clinics and courses, and full immersion simulation sessions.There may be opportunities for flexible working, provided all shifts are covered. The post holders will work up to 48 hours per week (including night shifts and weekend duties).
The rota is self-rostered.
Main duties of the job
The primary duties of the post are to assess and manage patients within the Emergency Department. Support is provided by consultants until midnight daily and by Middle Grades 24/7.
