Main duties of the job
As Clinical Lead GP, you will
- Provide high-quality clinical consultations and assessment of patients presenting to the Urgent Care Centre.
- Provide clinical leadership, advice and support to GPs and other clinical colleagues.
- Lead on clinical quality assurance, including consultation audits, annual appraisals and clinical performance.
- Support the service to achieve its KPIs and national service specifications.
- Identify areas of clinical risk and work with relevant teams to develop appropriate mitigation plans.
- Work closely with the Safeguarding Lead to ensure excellent safeguarding practice across the service.
- Provide clinical assurance to the Medical Director regarding clinical safety, quality and performance.
- Work with the resourcing team when reviewing applicants with previous/current medical legal claims or GMC investigations.
- Undertake clinical and administrative responsibilities appropriate to the seniority of the role.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Assessing, diagnosing and managing acute primary care presentations.
- Providing appropriate treatment, advice, and health education.
- Maintaining clear, accurate clinical records.

As part of the wider transformation of community mental health services, we are delighted to be recruiting to this newly developed post. The successful candidate will join with already existing rehabilitation services to help develop and deliver community mental health rehabilitation services across the central and east Lancashire area. Joining us at this time, the post-holder will gain valuable experience in development and clinical leadership of a new service. Aligned with national drivers to improve outcomes for individuals with the most complex mental health difficulties, work is underway to ensure that we offer a robust pathway in the least restrictive, clinically effective and safest way possible. Phase 1 of the Rehab transformation project will focus on the establishment of the Community Rehab teams within the Pennine area, before rolling out to bring in the Central/Preston localities. It is anticipated that the post-holder will work across both patches providing equitable psychological input to both teams.
Newly qualified applicants will be considered and, where appropriate, appointed under a Band 7 to Band 8a preceptorship programme, with support and development opportunities to facilitate progression.
Main duties of the job
o To work as part of a specialist mental health rehabilitation team that provides specialist assessment, treatment, interventions and support to enable the recovery of people whose complex needs cannot be met by general adult mental health services. This service aims to work with people to help them acquire or regain the skills and confidence to live successfully in the community. They focus on addressing and minimising the symptoms and functional impairment that people may have, with an emphasis on achieving as much individual autonomy and independence as possible.o The post holder will lead in the development and provision of a highly specialist psychology service for clients with complex psychological and mental health presentations across two mental health rehabilitation community teams.o To provide specialist psychological assessment and interventions, including neuropsychological assessment, as well as providing consultation and advice on clients' psychological care to MDT colleagues and carers.o To contribute to support and training of other staff within the care group, across the trust and into other services as agreed.o To provide clinical supervision and to play an active role in service developments and governance within the service as required.o To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures.

Main duties of the job
As an EDS Practitioner working within the specialist EDS field, you will work within a multidisciplinary team and carry out a diverse range of duties. Job summary
The department is looking to recruit a Preclinical Technical Officer in the field of small animal imaging, working mainly in the fields of nanoSPECT/CT and nanoPET/CT with opportunities to also work with PET/MR, MRI, optical imaging and focussed external beam irradiation therapy. The purpose of this role is to support, train and advise multidisciplinary scientists and students using and developing novel medical imaging methodology.
The incumbent will be expected to support the Pre-clinical Imaging Operations Manager to manage and maintain the preclinical imaging facilities (e.g. calibration, quality control, testing imaging scanners; trouble-shooting); ensure compliance of facilities and users with the relevant regulations and government bodies, with control over stocks, equipment and supplies.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include providing: teaching, advice and training on techniques/procedures, operation of the scanners and data and image analysis; facilitating the efficient and ethical operation of animal experiments involving imaging to achieve the aims of various research programmes. In addition, the post holder will be expected to extract maximum value and capability from the imaging facilities, by developing and implementing novel quantitative imaging protocols and flexible data analysis pipelines in response to the needs of colleagues.
Duties also include good communication, critical evaluation and problem-solving skills, use and monitoring of safe working practices to maintain and improve health & safety compliance. Main duties of the job
Ensure that a comprehensive, effective and efficient service is provided within accepted standards by:

The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of staff wellbeing and absence for the domestic team. This role involves being the central point of contact for staff reporting sickness, managing sensitive information, recording absence data, and liaising with various departments, including payroll and occupational health, the creation & delivery of sickness reports

Main duties of the job
The Head of Fire, Health & Safety and Security is required to ensure compliance with the various statutory legislation, deliver training, carry out inspections and audits against the current fire, health & safety and security practices around the Trust and legislation that is in place. Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Specialist Medicine Dietitian to join our friendly and enthusiastic Adult Dietetics Department at the Royal London Hospital.
The position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and ambitious Dietitian to lead the Dietetics service for Specialist Medicine and provide complex nutritional support on the specialist medicine wards. This includes a number of specialist areas including infection and immunity, complex endocrinology and respiratory. The successful candidate should have expert knowledge and experience within the area complex nutrition support and should be able to provide advice for parenteral nutrition. Preferably the successful candiate will also have experience working with people with complex mental health and social needs including exposure to people with eating disorders.
We are looking for applicants who are extremely motivated and hard-working with previous experience of managing a very busy caseload along with experience of leadership and successful line management. There is scope to expand and develop the services and the successful candidate is expected to engage and lead in service development. Excellent communication skills and multidisciplinary working is required. Evidence of undertaking quality improvement initiatives and service development is also essential.
This contract for this role will end on 31st December 2029.
Main duties of the job
To be the lead dietitian for dietetic interventions within specialist medicine - this includes infectious diseases and immunity, endocrinology, respiratory medicine and care of the elderly.
To support the Clinical Lead Dietitian with provision, performance and development of the specialist medicine dietetic service.
To be responsible for providing expert level dietetic assessment, treatment and advice to a specialist caseload with complex nutritional support requirements including complicated endocrinology, infection and immunity, HIV, respiratory diseases and cardiology. This may include enteral and parenteral nutritional support.
To support junior dietitians in the provision of dietetic support within these clinical areas, and to assist their development and career progression through supervision, one to ones and training.
To use advanced clinical reasoning skills to provide specialist support and advice to dietetic and other clinical staff within Barts Health.
Working within the multidisciplinary team to provide an effective dietetic service to a variety of medical patients. This includes initiating and engaging in best interest discussions for patients who lack capacity.
To be responsible for planning and delivering specialist nutrition training to medical staff, nurses and students and other health care professionals on intensive care.
Partake in the development of trust wide policies, protocol and guidelines.

As the service continues to grow, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating patients through investigation and diagnosis, providing expert clinical assessment, information and support and ensuring appropriate onward referral.Working collaboratively with medical colleagues, diagnostic services, cancer teams and primary care, you will support effective pathway management and provide continuity for patients during what can be a period of significant uncertainty.This is an opportunity to join an established but developing service, with scope to influence how the pathway evolves as activity increases. We are looking for an experienced nurse with strong clinical assessment, communication and coordination skills, a commitment to high-quality cancer care and an interest in service development and earlier cancer diagnosis.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced and motivated nurse with strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, excellent communication and the ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will need to be highly organised and able to coordinate complex diagnostic pathways, prioritise competing demands and maintain oversight of patients throughout investigation and diagnosis. Advanced communication skills are essential, including the ability to support patients experiencing uncertainty and anxiety and to communicate sensitively when discussing potentially difficult outcomes.
You will be confident working across professional and organisational boundaries, developing effective relationships with primary care, diagnostic services, medical teams and tumour-specific cancer services.
We are particularly looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and committed to improving patient experience and earlier cancer diagnosis. An interest in service development, quality improvement and helping to shape an expanding service will be important.
Experience within cancer care is desirable, but we would particularly welcome applicants with strong transferable skills in clinical assessment, complex care coordination and autonomous practice.
