Our Trust is recruiting enthusiastic, highly motivated nurses to join our dynamic, dedicated, forward thinking professional team which serves a wide geographical area with rural and urban communities.
The services we provide: Children's Inpatient, Day Care, Assessment and Outpatients.
Our Children's inpatient services provide compassionate care for Children and Young People from 0 to 16 years of age across two busy sites, Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Furness General Hospital. The units provide care for a mixture of specialities and for a wide range of conditions including High Dependency Care.
Main duties of the job
The units encompass inpatient, day care and assessment services for our communities. We also have dedicated Children's Out-Patient departments on both sites. This ensures a rich variety of experiences and development for our staff.
You will be reliable, flexible, motivated, have excellent clinical skills, a commitment to ongoing learning and development, a commitment to delivering high quality care, and be willing and open to embracing positive change and transformation in order to meet the demands of the community we serve.
You will care for children, young people and families who are being admitted for assessment, elective or emergency surgery, investigations and treatment, including those requiring high dependency care and will plan and evaluate together with other members of the MDT, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the child, young person, or family, maintaining a high standard of contemporaneous documentation.
You will work within the Nursing and Midwifery Code and adhere to local guidelines and policies, and complete training requirements.
You will work alongside the safeguarding team and follow local safeguarding policy.

Main duties of the job
The post requires malignant and general haematological work. Candidates with any field of interest are encouraged to apply. However, it is desirable to have an interest and experience in haematological malignancy and chemotherapy. The work will be shared equally with the other consultants to provide clinical, laboratory, liaison haematology service and on call. The development of a special interest by the appointee is encouraged and would be in line with the clinical interest of the Health Board.
The haematology department at Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB is also undergoing an exciting piece oftransformation work. This will lend itself to sub-specialisation and expansion and further development of all levels of the medical and nursing structure within the haematology service. Development and expansion of Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Consultant Nurse, and Clinical Scientist posts are all being explored as a part of this on-going and dynamic work. Collaborative work with neighbouring health boards and trusts is also being explored.

The successful applicant would join a team of consultants, specialty doctors, fellows and rotational trainees who provide anaesthesia and critical care in a District General Hospital. The majority of the workload would be in theatres where elective anaesthesia is provided for orthopaedics, ENT, plastics, gynaecology, general surgery, urology, max fax, ophthalmology, cardiology, obstetrics and vascular. The emergency theatre is staffed 24/7 and a trauma theatre is staffed 08:00-18:00 every day, which also runs on Bank Holidays.

We are excited to advertise a therapy vacancy delivering Urgent Community Response (UCR) and Virtual Ward services for a Physiotherapist.This service is provided within the Hospital at Home Service, is an exciting place to work, with many training opportunities available.The successful candidate will have a specialist interest in frailty and hospital admission avoidance to enable the appropriate management of individuals in the community. This is a 7-day service and operates from 08:00-20:00, with a base at Custom House, in Ellesmere Port. The successful applicant will be required to work shifts across 7days, 8am to 8pm.
You will be a member of a holistic team which consists of GP's, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Therapists, Therapy Assistants, Pharmacists and Clerical Support.
The service provides a 2-hour response to patients who are experiencing a health crisis, with the aim to support their treatment in their own home rather than requiring a hospital admission. The successful applicant will also provide therapy assessment and treatment for patients on the virtual wards, to enable optimisation of their physical function.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and innovative, and enjoy working as part of a dynamic and pro-active team.

Main duties of the job
Provide a 2-hour response for patients entering a health crisis and provide ongoing assessments and treatment plans for individuals on the virtual wards.

We have an exciting opportunity for a HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist to join us in the Immunology department at Southwest Pathology Services. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated to providing a high-quality patient centric service and are enthusiastic about biomedical science. This is a full time (37.5hours) position based at the SPS Hub laboratory in Taunton which takes a leading technological approach with state of the art equipment and organisation of workflow based on LEAN principles.
The successful candidate will work and specialise in the Immunology department with the role including working in the haematology department alongside Associate Practitioner and Medical Laboratory Assistant colleagues. The SPS Hub laboratory is 8am-9pm Monday to Friday with staff working as a team to deliver excellence in patient blood testing. We hold ISO15189 UKAS accreditation and are an HCPC approved training Laboratory for both IBMS Registration and Specialist Portfolios.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Outpatient Booking and Reception Team based at Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Lancaster.
Youwill be joining a well established team, in a purpose built facility, receiving and responding to telephone calls and queries from patients, GP's and Hospital staff in relation to outpatient appointments.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for mutually agreeing an appropriate date and time with patients for them to see a clinician in an Outpatient setting. Previous administration and customer service experience would be an advantage but not essential. A full training package will be available to support the start of your Administration career in the NHS. You will be working with highly confidential information.
There are part-time and full-time opportunities available. The Reception service is open from 8.30am to 5pm, five days a week. There maybe a requirement to work flexibly to support the needs of the service and there is also the opportunity to work occasional weekends.

Our Community Service for adults are provided in people's homes ,community centres, clinics, GP Practices, community hospitals. Our aim is to work with people to help them remain independent , improve their health and manage their conditions through high quality care , advice and support.

Guide Post Medical Group is excited to announce the offer of a Salaried GP post at the practice.
We are looking for 4-6 clinical sessions per week
We have a list size of 8000 patients and have a consistently high QOF achievement.
We are a democratic, friendly, mutually supportive, close-working team providing care to our semi-rural and urban population. We meet up regularly through the day, and workflow is excellently managed. Notes are summarised and the majority of correspondence is coded by our data team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for 4-6 clinical sessions per week, with one or two dedicated home visit sessions per week. No visits are scheduled during or after sessions in surgery.
Enhanced Access is provided, the sessions are shared between the GPs.
We operate a 'usual doctor' system for continuity of patient care.
A personal mentor is available and protected study leave with a practice commitment to continued professional development, including support to develop special interests.
About us
We are a medium-sized, long established training practice, based in refurbished and modernised NHS Property Services premises in the village of Guidepost in south east Northumberland.
We have 8000 patients catered by a multi-disciplinary team of four GP partners, plus three Salaried GPs, two Nurse Practitioners, one Physician Associate, three Practice Nurses, and four Health Care Assistants supported by a full, excellent administration team.
We are a member of the Wansbeck Primary Care Network which consists of four local practices. Additional PCN staff, namely Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners, Health and Wellbeing Coaches and Community Link Workers are also based at the practice.
The practice team is also supported by the locality's district nursing team, based at the practice, as well as clinics from midwives, podiatrists and dietitians.
We have regular in-practice clinical meetings and a monthly whole team educational meeting.

The Wiltshire area of Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to work within a mental health inpatient ward setting, predominantly on rehab ward with opportunities to support acute and community services. The role will be suitable for doctors who have completed Core Medical Training particularly for those wishing to gain additional experience before commencing Haematology training. The role will include a weekend only on-call commitment (9am-5pm) on a 1:5 basis within Haematology. The on call is supported by resident Haematology registrars and consultants.
The role will be to support the inpatient Haematology service and participate in outpatient clinics to gain experience in the management of the common tumour groups. The level of clinical independence in the management of outpatients will depend on clinical experience to date.
There is also opportunity for clinical experience within the stem cell transplant unit.
Main duties of the job
The primary duties of the post include management responsibilities for patients within the Haematology ward (ward 4) and the transplant unit (ward 5). This will include supporting the junior clinical team and undertaking ward rounds with the Haematology registrars and consultants.

You must be flexible, adaptive and reliable with excellent communication skills and demonstrate a patient centred approach. An interest in working within Neurological care in a challenging but rewarding environment is essential.
You will work shifts, rotating throughout a 24 hour period. You will work in a highly supported environment, and will be provided with training opportunities to further develop your knowledge and skills.
We will provide you with a comprehensive induction period and have access to ongoing clinical supervision and appraisal with development review that will provide you with support and the specialist skills required to meet the holistic needs of our patients.
You will be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective safe and caring services. You will provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, mutual respect and dignity.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our hepato-pancreato biliary cancer team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Liverpool as a Band 6 Associate Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is a 12 month fixed term maternity cover post.
The post holder will work alongside Advanced Nurse Practitioners and the CNS. They will use their professional and clinical skills to act as a resource and advocate for patients within their speciality.

An exciting opportunity has for highly motivated team players to join our well established Orthopaedics Department at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, welcoming applications for Trust Doctor ST1/ST2 level to join the team.
The hospital is situated in a beautiful location on the outskirts of the historic Roman City of Chester. We are within easy access of Manchester Airport, North Wales and the Lake District. The Trust is committed to continued professional development, and to a culture of ongoing service improvement.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in a 1 in 8 on-call rota and will be subject to ward based cover as a requirement of the post, they must hold full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
This post is not recognised for training purposes; however the Trust will ensure teaching to a high standard to assist the successful applicant in progressing further.
Main duties of the job
In-Patients
This involves clerking routine and emergency admissions, ensuring that appropriate investigations are carried out, and caring for in patients including attending Consultants' and Registrars' ward rounds, monitoring the progress of patients, and assisting in Theatre operations. You will be expected to have an up-to-date knowledge of the patients under your care and be able to present them on ward rounds.
Out-Patients
There will be a commitment to see patients in clinic and to undertake pre op assessment clinics when necessary.
Out of Hours
The post holder will participate in the 8 person full-shift rota for Trauma & Orthopaedics. At weekends you will have the support of an F1 House Officer between 8am - 5pm on the Orthopaedic Ward.
Cover Arrangements for Leave
All leave is covered internally by colleagues and it is the responsibility of each consultant to ensure that arrangements have been made to cover duties including on-call. No more than 2 Persons will be allowed leave at the same time.
Education
A well-equipped post-graduate centre and library is sited adjacent to the General Wing on the Countess of Chester Hospital site. There is an active programme of lectures and meetings, including those of the Chester and North Wales Medical Society. In addition, Liverpool, with extensive University and postgraduate facilities, including the Liverpool Medical Institution, is only 20 miles away.
