Job summary
To provide a general reception service to all personnel who access the ECG department. This includes contact with the public as well as a wide range of other health care professionals. The post holder will be required to use a designated computer system to enter patient data, combined with general office and clerical duties.

Main duties of the job
Main duties, but not excluding other tasks that may be asked from management for the department needs.
- Accurately input patient information, appointment details, and clinical data onto relevant hospital systems.
- Maintain and update electronic patient records ensuring data quality and confidentiality standards are met.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies where appropriate.
- Ensure all administrative records are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Backfill appointment slots for clinic utilisation.
- Monitor clinic schedules and respond promptly to changes in appointment availability.
- Contact patients prior to their appointments to complete pre-registration requirements.
- Verify and update patient demographic information.
- Ensure all necessary patient details are recorded before attendance to support a smooth patient experience.
- Escalate any issues or concerns identified during the pre-registration process.
- Provide cover for ECG reception during periods of increased workload, annual leave, or sickness absence.
- Manage telephone enquiries and direct calls appropriately.
- Support patient check-in processes and provide information regarding appointments and departmental procedures.
- Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying, and document management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental objectives and service delivery.
- Adhere to Trust policies, procedures, and information governance requirements.

Job summary
As a Cancer Navigator you will have direct contact with cancer patients, family and external healthcare professionals over the phone; a pivotal role in helping to ensure that all cancer patients of the Trust receive high quality empathetic care and support. You will be responsible for establishing their concerns and providing support by problem-solving, signposting, or creating space for callers to voice their experience.You will have Supervisory support and work closely with the Clinical Specialist Nurse Teams.
It is a highly varied and skilled role, with attention to boundaries vital. Further support is available for complex queries from the supervisor and if the question is of a clinical nature with further input needed from the specialist team, they will book a telephone appointment for the Clinical Nurse Specialist to call back the patient or their relative. The navigator service works closely with the clinical teams to ensure they can provide the right support for patients and their families.
Our team are based at the Charing Cross site, working 8:00am - 6:00pm (shift work; 8am-4pm & 10am - 6pm), Monday to Friday. Including Saturdays
Main duties of the job
- To coordinate timely care for patients referral throughout their treatment.
- To provide a 'touch point' for patients and GP's with he hospital to ensure two-way communication during treatment.
- To provide guidance, contact and support for patients as they journey through hospitals.
- To ensure all appointments are notified in a timely manner providing excellent patient experience providing required infortmation.
- Signposting to other services.
- Support people affected by cancer to self-manage.

We have a part time position available for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Wansbeck General Hospital.
This is a part-time position for 21 hrs per week
Hours of work for this post will be flexible whilst rotas are under review but will usually be worked as 3 x 7hr shifts per week between 7am - 7pm.
Please note the successful applicant will be required to work a share of weekend and bank holiday dates, for which an enhanced rate is payable.
As part of this role, you will be required to maintain the standards of cleanliness as specified throughout the work areas, by means of approved methods.
The role also involves serving in our staff and visitor restaurant and taking cash and card payments using our EPOS till system. It is important that the successful candidate is comfortable and confident to speak and interact with our customers.

Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB) is seeking to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in Spinal Surgery to join the Regional Spinal Surgical Unit based at Morriston Hospital. The post offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience in adult spinal surgery within a high-volume tertiary spinal service serving Swansea Bay and the wider Mid and South West Wales population.
The Spinal Unit provides comprehensive elective and emergency spinal care, including management of degenerative spinal conditions, spinal trauma, infection, tumours and metastatic spinal cord compression. The service delivers a wide range of open, minimally invasive, navigated and endoscopic spinal procedures from occiput to sacrum.
The post holder will work closely with consultant spinal surgeons, specialist nurses, physician associates and the wider multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. The role provides extensive exposure to spinal clinics, ward management, theatre activity, research, audit and service improvement. This fellowship is designed to support professional development while contributing to the effective delivery of spinal services across the Health Board.
Main duties of the job
The Senior Clinical Fellow will provide day-to-day clinical support to the Regional Spinal Service, ensuring the safe assessment, treatment and ongoing management of patients with spinal conditions.
Key responsibilities include undertaking inpatient reviews and ward rounds, assessing emergency and elective admissions, participating in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, and supporting the management of patients throughout their hospital journey. The post holder will work under the supervision of consultant spinal surgeons and will liaise closely with nursing, therapy and multidisciplinary teams.
The successful candidate will participate in spinal operating lists and outpatient clinics appropriate to their level of competence and experience, gaining exposure to a wide range of spinal procedures and management strategies. Fleggburgh Surgery is a small rural dispensing surgery providing healthcare to around 2000 patients. The staff are highly appreciated by our patients who consistently rate the surgery as one of the best in Norfolk & Waveney.
Main duties of the job
Your days will run from 08:30-18:00, appointments are 15 minutes in length with a maximum of 24 appointments per day. You may often be the only GP in the surgery, and therefore responsible for all patient administration on the day - including pathology, letters and tasks. We do however have a PCN Pharmacy Team who support with a large volume of our documents, and a Practice Pharmacist, ANP, Nurse, Physio and Mental Health Practitioners. We are a teaching Practice, supporting GP Resident Doctors.
Our patient population is elderly, however we do not have any care homes and home visits are very infrequent, limited mainly to palliative care visits.

We have two fixed term maternity leave covers:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Radiographer or Clinical Technologist (Nuclear Medicine) to join our small, highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Team at ESNEFT. You would be required to support the clinical service across both Ipswich and Colchester sites.
As a Radiographer appointed to this post, we would expect you to be registered with the HCPC. For a graduate Clinical Technologist in Nuclear Medicine appointed to this post you would be expected to join the Register of Clinical Technologists as a Nuclear Medicine specialist.
The Nuclear Medicine departments perform a wide range of Diagnostic and Therapeutic procedures including DaTscan, Neuroendocrine imaging, Myocardial Perfusion Imaging, I131 post ablation, Lutetium and Radium. Across both sites there are 4 Siemens systems: Siemens Pro Specta and Intevo SPECT CT in Ipswich, and a Siemens Evo, and Intevo Bold in Colchester, with a new installation due in Ipswich in 2027.
You will be expected to take part in a range of duties including IV administration, imaging, handling and assaying Radioisotopes, contamination monitoring, routine QA and data handling.
Main duties of the job
- To carry out any duties in Nuclear Medicine under the direction of the Chief Technologist.
- To work cross site at either the Colchester or Ipswich Nuclear Medicine Department where required, sometimes at short notice.
- To administer Radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of the ARSAC licence holder, according to departmental protocols.
- To perform imaging in accordance with Departmental protocols.
- To care for any patient undergoing a Radionuclide investigation.

We are recruiting two dedicated Locum Consultants (12 month fixed term contract) to join our busy Ophthalmic Accident & Emergency Department, which provides 24/7 emergency eye care and manages over 100,000 patient episodes annually. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the Trust's most dynamic services, supporting patients with ocular injuries, acute vision changes, severe discomfort, and post-operative complications.
There are two 5.08 PA roles available. Each role will involve a full 3 session day and a 1:6 weekend rotation. This will include a 4.08 PA DCC & Admin element, and a 1 PA SPA element. Community IV Nurse
As a Community IV Nurse within our Clinical Homecare Nursing Team you will deliver safe high-quality and patient-centred nursing care to patients in their own homes and community settings
Working in partnership with NHS teams and healthcare professionals you will support patients receiving specialist Parenteral Nutrition IV therapies and other prescribed clinical interventions at home
The role offers the opportunity to work autonomously while remaining part of a supportive wider clinical team
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe high-quality patient-centred care in patients' homes and community settings
Administer prescribed Parenteral Nutrition IV therapies and clinical interventions in accordance with standard operating procedures professional standards and individual care plans
Undertake patient assessments monitor progress and identify changes in a patient's condition
Recognise and escalate clinical concerns appropriately supporting safe and effective patient care
Support the initiation of treatment ongoing care and the safe transition of patients from hospital to home
Educate train and empower patients families and carers to safely manage treatment and develop confidence and independence
Provide ongoing clinical advice guidance and support to patients throughout their homecare journey
Develop positive and professional relationships with patients families carers and healthcare professionals
Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues Senior Homecare Nurses Clinical Nurse Managers and wider healthcare teams to provide continuity of care
Maintain accurate timely and confidential clinical records in accordance with Clinical Governance requirements NMC standards and Inizio policies and procedures
Work in accordance with relevant clinical policies procedures professional standards and evidence-based practice
Contribute to patient safety quality improvement and the ongoing development of the Clinical Homecare Nursing service
Support the achievement of relevant service and programme performance measures
Maintain and develop clinical competence through mandatory training continuing professional development reflective practice and evidence-based learning
Community Working
This is a community-based position requiring regular travel to patients' homes
Visit locations and routes will vary according to patient needs and service demand
Travel between patient visits is included within your working hours
You will need to be comfortable travelling independently and hold a current valid UK driving licence
You will be responsible for managing your working day and patient visits effectively while maintaining close communication with the wider clinical team
