Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic Band 5 or 6 Radiographers to join our existing skilled, friendly radiography team here at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust providing services across the full week.
You will be based at Broomfield Hospital in the city of Chelmsford, Essex, with occasional work at the satellite sites in Maldon and Braintree. The role requires rotation through different areas of the department including A&E, Theatres, Mobile and General x-ray; opportunities will be available to train and practice in cross-sectional imaging. You will also be required to rotate through our outlying Community Hospitals from time to time. In this senior role you will also be expected to take a supervisory role leading a small group. Band 6 radiographers act as mentors for this process and are also required to supervise and assess undergraduate students.
We are fully DR compliant including at our community hospital sites, and provide CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and Cardiac Imaging. We have a dedicated Interventional Theatre and newly refurbished fluoroscopy suite.
As a department we support Radiographer Advanced and Extended Scope practice related to service need, including Image Reporting, Radiographer led CT Colonography and upper GI Fluoroscopy. We support the education and development of staff and have a dedicated Education Committee to ensure training is relevant, distributed fairly and supportive of Departmental goals.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist to the Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT) in South Glos. As part of the Community Mental Health Framework, we are delivering an exciting transformation programme to support people with mental health needs to get the help they need efficiently, and close to home. The team aims to meet the needs of service users that fall through the gap between primary and secondary care services.
Right to Work in the UK This position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application, as the organisation is unable to support sponsorship for this post.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the running of groups and individual psychological interventions for people presenting with complex PTSD, and other mental health distress. The role will also include carrying out audits and participating in service evaluations to support service developments. You will be supervised by the team clinical psychologist and work alongside other colleagues to deliver culturally appropriate sensitive and person-centred care. We are looking to recruit a Care Coordinator-Navigator to work up to 20 hours per week, joining our supportive and friendly practice family.
The working hours are between 07.30am until 6.30pm.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Handling incoming calls from patients and healthcare agencies
Supporting patients to access the right service, clinician, or pathway
Managing patient administration, including registrations, deductions, and demographic updates
Processing clinical and administrative information from secondary care and other providers
Completing administrative tasks as directed by clinicians and the leadership team
Welcoming and checking in patients and visitors in a safe, polite, and efficient manner
Helping coordinate care plans, follow up actions, and referrals
Supporting proactive care initiatives and population health management activities
About us
The Homewell Practice is committed to delivering high quality patient care and was rated GOOD by the CQC in 2022. You'll be joining a warm, collaborative, and supportive GP practice where every team member plays a vital role in patient experience.
We offer:
A friendly and welcoming working environment
Membership of the NHS Pension Scheme
Good local transport links
A paid day off on your birthday, because we believe in recognising and celebrating our staff
A supportive team culture where your wellbeing and development truly matter
