Main duties of the job
Registered with Social Work England.
Experience of working in a community based setting. Responsible for the delivery of care to an allocated caseload of clients living in the Community experiencing, or recovering from, mental health difficulties.
Provide direct support and advice to Service Users and Carers, within the recovery framework.
To work as part of a multi-disciplinary Team, working in partnership with a range of stakeholders inside and outside of the Trust.
Providing high quality social care services to adults of all ages experiencing mental ill-health. The core functions of the role will be to provide assessment, care planning and coordination of care from a social perspective to adults accessing the service.
Deliver recovery-focused care and support to service users and their carers that is focused on the principles of choice, control, and independence, as well as ensuring safety.
You will hold a caseload which may comprise of adults experiencing a wide range of mental health and social care needs.You will ensure that you maintain constant reflection and development of your practice and will ensure your continuing professional development in line with the standards set out by the professional regulator, Social Work England.
If you are not already an AMHP, you will be prepared to undertake the training required to undertake the AMHP role as your career progresses. If you are already an AMHP, you will contribute to the Trust's countywide AMHP rota.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Band 6 Social Worker to join us in delivering community mental health care within the Dacorum area of Hertfordshire - Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Tring and surrounding villages.
The area is well served with transport links to historic Hertfordshire and its glorious countryside as well as into London and beyond. We are looking for a Social Worker who is passionate about care delivering care to adults with mental health issues.
We would welcome applications from London based Social Workers looking to move to this idyllic part of the county.

Main duties of the job
As a Social Worker, you will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, providing high quality social care services to adults of all ages experiencing mental ill-health.
The core functions of the role will be to provide assessment, care planning and coordination of care from a social perspective to adults accessing the service. You will delivery recovery-focusedcare and support to service users and their carers that is focused on the principles of choice, control, and independence, as well as ensuring safety. You will act as a champion of social care and safeguarding in your locality.You will actively address adversity and will support adults at risk of social inclusion and assist adults accessing support to deal with a range of adverse circumstances.

Main duties of the job
GenericTo work as an integral and active part of the therapy and multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the therapy team in the efficient provision of a patient centred service.
Role specificMain responsibilities include delivering inpatient rehabilitation at Brecon Hospital, which includes specialist assessment of neurological patients.

Job summary
We are looking for registered health or social care professionals to work in a team in a fast-paced criminal justice environment. You will need to be a registered NMC, SWE, HCPC or OT with significant Post-registration experience in mental health.
For this post, you will work in police custody and complete triage assessments with people whilst they are detained there (from the age of ten). You will work closely with the police, your assessment and information gathering will support that person across the offender pathway. Depending on a person's criminal justice journey this may include Courts and Probation and the wider health and social care systems in the community.
In this role your criminal justice knowledge will greatly expand, so we welcome applicants who have not worked in this area as we can provide training and your knowledge will develop as you work across the team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for 1x Secondment/Fixed Term position for six months across the Norfolk Police Investigation Centres. Your primary role will be to complete holistic triage assessments for people who have been arrested and brought to police custody. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills that will enable you to engage, challenge, motivate, influence, and inspire at all levels. As part of a small team, you will work various shift patterns comprising of mostly 9-hour shifts, to enable the service to cover extended hours, seven days per week, 365 days a year.
The working criminal justice locations include Police Investigation Centres (PIC's), Courts and other supporting criminal justice/health environments in line with service need. However, this role will primarily work inside the PIC (custody). The service covers both Norfolk and Suffolk and may require some cross county working. It is essential that you can travel independently.
Travel to other PICs may be necessary from time to time. You may also be required to complete remote telephone assessments depending on service needs at other PICs located further away.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and dynamic Assistant Psychologist across our City Community Mental Health Teams in the Central Norfolk Locality

Main duties of the job

There will be opportunities to contribute to team training and reflective practice, as well as involvement in service-related audits and evaluation relevant to service needs, under the supervision of a qualified member of staff.

We have close relationships with the Clinical Psychology Doctorate training course at the University of East Anglia and routinely offer placements to trainee clinical psychologists. We also have an excellent research department in the Trust.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Health Care Assistant to join the respiratory nursing team on Honeyford Ward at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.

Main duties of the job
The Senior Health Care Support Worker (SHCSW) is part of the multidisciplinary team delivering personal care to patients and supporting Registered Practitioners to deliver high quality, compassionate care. Support and supervision is provided by Registered Practitioners.
You will carry out a range of non-clinical healthcare tasks, under the direct supervision of the Registered Practitioner. To achieve this the SHCSW will competently perform the necessary aspects of care for patients, to agreed quality standards and in accordance with Trust values.
You will also be supported to obtain a Care Certificate if not already achieved.
We are happy to support part time or full time work but candidates must be available to work on a rota that includes days, nights and all days of the week.

Job summary
It is an exciting time to join the Haemoglobinopathy team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust as we look forward to a new working model of integrating community and hospital Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Service.
The team are looking for a friendly and dynamic nurse to join the team in a liaison nurse role, an integral part in facilitating the transition between paediatric services, but increasingly bridging the gap between hospital and home too.
We are looking for someone with experience of caring for people with haemoglobinopathy conditions or awareness of the challenges they face. You will need to have excellent communication skills, and be competent in venepuncture, cannulation and the use of CVADs. A prescribing qualification and clinical assessment qualification are essential. We look forward to working with you and helping you to fulfil your potential both professionally and academically.
Main duties of the job
All aspects of care of the haemoglobinopathy patient: screening and counselling on diagnosis.
Clinically supporting patients with their well being in an outpatient setting but also supporting during inpatient stays, delivering day treatments and managing the unwell patient.
Coordinating and participating in regional MDTs, teaching and raising awareness throughout hospital and community.
This role involves visiting patients in their own homes to deliver a holistic approach to care. As it requires working within the community, a full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential.
Supporting the Lead nurse with service development.

The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of general environmental cleaning on the wards including responsibility for the cleaning of all sanitary areas such as toilets, bathrooms, showers and sluice rooms, and daily and weekly cleaning of patient equipment. Complete the daily cleaning of bays and side rooms, nurses station and other areas on a designated ward area as specified on the allocated daily work schedule. Ensure cleaning is carried out in accordance with National Specification for Cleanliness in the NHS (2021) PAS 5748 Cleanliness in Healthcare Facilities, the Trust Cleaning Policy, Patient Equipment Cleaning Policy and the agreed cleaning schedule. Terminally clean bed spaces & side rooms as required. Ensure that alcohol gel dispensers, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and, where required, aprons and gloves are replenished as needed to maintain high standards of hand hygiene, infection prevention, and control, thereby reducing the risk of cross-infection between patients. We are recruiting a Catering Assistant to support the delivery of a safe, efficient and high-quality catering service within our Community Hospital in Whitchurch. Working as part of the catering team, you will help prepare and serve food, maintain food hygiene standards and ensure catering facilities are clean, stocked and ready for use.You will work as part of a team to produce a high level of quality in the preparation of meals in accordance with work schedule as required.Please note this vacancy may close early if a high volume of applications is received, we advise you submit your application early to avoid disappointment.
Main duties of the job
- Ensuring a good standard of quality control during preparations, cooking and despatch of food. This will include documentation of the process in accordance with a safe food system.
- To prepare special diets.
- Serving meals and taking of cash for dining room till whenever necessary.
- Responsible for practising good hygiene in regard to all aspects of the working of a catering department and including the maintenance of a good standard of personal hygiene
- Assisting with the washing/drying up at lunch time.
- Ensuring that all freezers/fridges are cleaned and defrosted regularly.
- To complete food orders when required
- Assisting with ward stores order.
- To be responsible for the induction and training of new catering staff and that all training is documented.
- Responsible for taking receipt of goods and putting away in the appropriate area's
- Accepting and checking delivery of goods as necessary.
- The handling of money and filling in the appropriate form.
