Job summary
The CT & MRI scanner department are looking for an enthusiastic assistant to assist in the preparation and care of patients undergoing CT and MRI scans.
As a clinical support worker you will be required to work alongside the CT and MRI team. This involves supporting the radiographers, providing care and comfort for our patients whilst preparing them for their examinations, I.V cannulation (training will be provided if necessary) manual handling and some administrative work. This role will require flexibility and adaptability, good teamwork and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and organisation skills .Please see the job description for full details of the requirements
Applications are invited from individuals who can demonstrate a professional attitude to work, a high standard of communication skills, a caring and compassionate approach and a commitment to team working.
The successful candidate will be required to work shifts of 7am-5pm, 8am-6pm, 10am-8pm and 1pm-11pm (inclusive of weekends and bank holidays).
No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided, although skills in health care would be an advantage. The post will be NHS Band 2 to start with, progressing to Band 3 once competencies have been reached, though a commencement at Band 3 is possible if candidates already possess the necessary skills / experience.

Main duties of the job
You'll provide scans across a wide range of services including obstetrics, abdominal, gynaecology, small parts, musculoskeletal, and vascular imaging -- making a real difference to patients across our hospital sites and community settings.

What you'll bring:
- Ultrasound qualification (Diploma in Medical Ultrasound.
- State registration and at least 1 year of practical NHS ultrasound experience.
- Ability to scan abdominal, gynaecology, obstetrics, small parts, and DVTs.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Additional musculoskeletal or vascular qualifications would be an advantage.

Job summary
You will work as a member of the MDT in providing high quality, evidence-based, holistic assessments and care to patients in line with your professional Code of Conduct and Trust policies.
You will work within a fast paced urgent community care pathway providing an urgent and crisis response to those experiencing mental distress within the community. You will work jointly with the Ambulance Paramedic clinician by providing immediate crisis care in the community across West Essex and also supporting the vehicle covering Hertfordshire where necessary. You will support other Paramedic crews in managing patients with complex mental health needs. You will work with non-statutory and statutory services to support people while in crisis.
You will conduct initial assessments, agree formulation of need and develop collaborative care plans underpinned by NICE Guidance delivering a range of interventions based upon individual needs. Assessments and interventions can take coaching and through the use of assisted technology and on line forums. The successful candidate will be working within the West Essex area conducting assessments and interventions over a twenty four hour period.
As required by your manager, you will supervise junior staff, those in lower bandings, within your team locality. This will include the management of these staff in line with agreed Trust HR processes.
Main duties of the job
Core Clinical Function
Work jointly with the Ambulance Paramedic clinician in delivering a blue light response to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis in the community who will have made contact via the 999 emergency system.
Provide triage screening to persons under the age of 18 and liaise with EWMHS for further assessment and support.
Produce accurate and timely documentation, conduct and manage the maintenance of accurate and timely documentation / records on all service users in line with your professional Code of Conduct and Trust policy
Oversee the conduct / contribute to the assessment process, as well as the observation and ongoing assessment, providing accurate and timely feedback Conduct risk assessment of the individual and of the potential hazards in the patients environment
Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings i.e. referral / review / business Report and document incidents as required
Conduct and oversee physical health care checks and act upon the findings

Our Future in Mind MHST (Mental Health Support Team) is a growing and developing service which provides early intervention to improve the lives of children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems.
We are looking to recruit 4 Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners (Trainee EMHP) to join our friendly and supportive team starting in January 2027. Successful candidates will be employed within Wakefield CAMHS, on a NHS Band 4 training contract, on successful completion of the training and registration will transfer to a NHS Band 5 EMHP permanent contract. The role will be based within education settings in Wakefield and the first-year part time study will be at Sheffield University.

Job Purpose:
For the duration of the training year, EMHPs will attend both Higher Education Institution (HEI) in addition to working in services (and educational settings linked to that service) for the remaining days each week.
On successful completion of training, trainee EMHPs will be equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge and capabilities to work as a qualified EMHP within the Mental Health Support Team.

Medical Laboratory Assistants are a key staff group within the pathology laboratory. Main duties of the job
Under supervision and following Standard Operating Procedures the following duties may be carried out.
Undertake in service training leading to the completion of the competency logbook

Dealing with frequent telephone enquiries e.g. stock requests, bottle advice, giving results and directing calls to correct locations.
Face to face Pathology enquiries.
Liaise with and despatch consumables to service users.

Main duties of the job
As a Portfolio Analyst, the post holder will work as part of the dynamic Central Portfolio Office Management delivery team that has a reach across the whole organisation to manage the investment portfolio of project and programme, including transformational programmes that help improve and save lives. Job summary
We are seeking an experienced, strategic Head of Technology and Data to lead the technology, engineering and data capabilities of the Southwest Secure Data Environment (SWSDE).
SWSDE is a secure, trusted environment enabling health and care data to support research, innovation, service improvement and transformation. It works with NHS organisations, universities and research partners to improve outcomes and decision-making.
The postholder will provide strategic and operational leadership for technology and data, shaping the strategy, architecture, engineering capability and operating model so the platform remains secure, resilient, scalable and aligned with national standards.
We need an established leader who can shape strategy, deliver complex technical programmes and build high-performing teams. NHS or healthcare experience is valuable, but applicants from other complex or regulated sectors are welcome.
You will combine strategic thinking with practical delivery, bringing substantial leadership experience in technology, cloud platforms, data engineering or digital services. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and partners to deliver secure, resilient services in a complex environment.
The role is administratively based in Bristol, and applications are welcome from across the Southwest. Flexible working is available from regional locations and home, with travel to partner organisations as required.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will:
Lead the SWSDE technology and data function and develop its strategy, architecture, engineering capability and long-term roadmap.
Oversee secure cloud infrastructure, data platforms and technology services, ensuring they are resilient, scalable and aligned with NHS and organisational standards.
Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, including data engineers, platform specialists and technical managers, while building sustainable in-house capability.
Direct technology and data projects through effective prioritisation, governance, risk management and delivery oversight.
Set technical policies, standards, service levels and operating frameworks, and oversee onboarding, platform development, interoperability and data engineering.
Manage suppliers, cloud providers and technology partners, including procurement, commissioning and contracts.
Control technology budgets, cloud costs, licensing and resources to deliver value for money.
Promote secure-by-design, automation, infrastructure-as-code and continuous improvement.
Provide expert advice and clear technical, operational, financial and performance information to leaders, governance groups and partners.
Represent the SWSDE technology and data function at regional and national forums.

This post is for a Lived Experience Support Worker (also referred to as a Peer Support Worker or an Expert by Experience Support Worker) who will be embedded with the Primary Mental Health Requirement Treatment Team within the wider Liaison and Diversion Service.
Our team provides psychoeducation based interventions over twelve weeks for service users who have had a Community Order for primary care mental health treatment. We do this work one-to-one in person, by video, or by telephone and we offer a skills-based group virtually to all service users.Your role will be to work with us to provide additional lived experience support to service users going through the criminal justice system to help them to overcome challenges in their journey to recovery and wellbeing. You will do this holistically, being flexible in the way you work in order to provide tailored support to our service users.You may provide support by meeting service users for a coffee, joining them on their journey into their sessions, providing additional out of session support for their interventions, or developing different activities that suit their needs and your skills. You will work independently with service users, jointly with an AP, or as part of a drop-in clinic.
Applicants MUST have experience with receiving mental health treatment and it is preferred that they have experience of the criminal justice system.
Main duties of the job
Peer support is delivered through promoting empowerment and choice and giving the opportunity for the exploration of meaning and purpose.
You will have a caseload of service users who are benefiting from your contact; you will work with the treating AP to develop a treatment plan that works for their needs and their goals. You will also help to establish and run drop-in clinics at the different Probation sites where you and the APs will work jointly to offer skills and support on an ad hoc basis.You will join the rest of the team in giving presentations about our work, ensuring that the Lived Experience role is communicated effectively.You will gather feedback from service users you have worked with so that we are able to effectively evaluate the impact of your work.You will take up other tasks that interest you and benefit the service user, as well as develop your own projects of interest.

CYPMHS South Hertfordshire is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated Children and Young People's Social Worker with an appropriate professional qualification and relevant experience to join our multidisciplinary team.This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offered on a permanent basis.The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and will make a significant contribution to the clinical and social work provision within the team. The post holder will actively participate in referral screening and allocation processes, undertake comprehensive assessments, provide evidence-based interventions, coordinate care, manage risk, and promote the safeguarding of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Main duties of the job
- To develop and deliver highly specialist, evidence-based interventions for children, young people, and their families, drawing upon a wide range of theoretical frameworks and treatment approaches.
- To provide timely, accessible, and person-centred services through both clinic-based and community outreach models.
- To offer highly specialist advice, consultation, and formulation-based guidance to colleagues and partner agencies, working autonomously within professional and organisational guidelines.
- To care coordinate a caseload of service users, undertaking highly specialist assessments and delivering integrated packages of care.
- To contribute to the continued development of social work practice within the service, including the provision of supervision to social work colleagues and professionals from other disciplines.
- To actively participate in clinical supervision, appraisal processes, and continuing professional development activities to maintain and enhance professional competence.

Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Lead Dosimetrist in the provision of the radiotherapy treatment planning service under the scientific supervision of the Principal Physicist - Head of Treatment Planning and in conjunction with Pre-Treatment Therapy Radiographers.

The post holder will provide support in all areas of treatment planning.
RapidArc is utilised for all suitable clinical sites, as is routine daily online IGRT (including thorax 4DCT and DIBH breast). Our department has been paperless from the beginning. As well as providing top-class service to our patients, we are actively involved in research and development projects and national clinical trials. We are commissioned to deliver SABR for lung and oligometastatic disease.
