An opportunity has arisen to join our Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy (ASLT) team as a Bank Band 4 Adult Speech and Language Therapy Assistant in Bromley.
We are a supportive and friendly team who will work with adults with a range of communication and swallowing disorders including voice and dysfluency. We also have specialist SLT services such as an outpatient Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of swallowing (FEEs) service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support provision of SLT services to adults within the Bromley Healthcare services with a range of conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson's Disease and Motor Neurone disease.
This post would suit a motivated person with prior experience in an SLT team or assistant role, or someone looking to develop skills working as an Adult SLT assistant. Driving is an essential requirement of this job. You will be provided with training appropriate for the role and we have a highly developed internal supervision structure.

This postholder will provide clinical care and support to children and their families witha new diagnosis of epilepsy and ongoing to support for those already diagnosed. TheEpilepsy Nurse will support consultants in clinic and run nurse led follow up clinics.They may also provide care on the ward or in clinic, through home visits or bytelephone. Excellent communication skills are vital for this role
Where a candidate does not currently hold the required qualification and/or specialistexperience, appointment may be made under Annex 21 of the NHS Agenda forChange Terms and Conditions. This will be a B5 developmental post, supported by astructured training and competency programme, becoming a B6 on completion.
Main duties of the job
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with experience ofcaring for children with epilepsy to join our Children's Epilepsy Specialist Nursing team.The ideal candidate can be a Children's Nurse, Adult Nurse or Learning disabilities Nursebut with significant experience and understanding of caring for children with Epilepsy.
The role will involve supporting newly diagnosed children and their families, ensuringoptimum seizure control throughout childhood and transition into adult services. Workingas part of the multi-disciplinary team the Children's Epilepsy Specialist Nurses provide aholistic approach to the health, social and psychological well-being of children withepilepsy.
This is a permanent Band 6 contract for 22.5 hours per week, worked over 3 days,Monday-Friday. The post is based at York hospital but may involve working from home orundertaking school visits at times. The post holder must hold a full driving licence and be

Main duties of the job
The post is for a clinical fellowship and will involve a majority of clinical sessions (~50%) in the chosen subspecialty. This will be combined with sessions in other areas of personal interest and department needs. Fellows will be given the opportunity to run appropriate elective lists to consolidate independent practice.
The post provides half a day per week (averaged) for research, education and management. Fellows will be encouraged and expected to contribute to the department through engagement in quality improvement, audits, teaching or research, and will be provided support. The preferred candidate will be self-driven and proactive.
You will be expected to be on the on-call rota, including night shifts. Commitments are typically 1 in 9, covering theatres and maternity; the exact deployment is dependent on experience and rota requirements. Occasionally, the on call rota is full, and an alternative rota will apply.

The Community Hospice provides community, hospital and inpatient specialist palliative and supportive care to people with life limiting illnesses and their families within the London boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley.

The Aseptic unit is a small team of around 14 staff and is responsible for providing 6500 doses of cytotoxics and monoclonal antibodies a year. The Aseptic Pharmacy team also supplies approximately 2000 bags of parenteral nutrition per year for inpatients treated on site
The post holder will support the Aseptic Services department - under the management of the Chief Pharmacy Technician and under the overall leadership of the Associate Chief Pharmacist - to ensure the safe, effective and timely provision of aseptic products to all patients in King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will be responsible for participating in the aseptic manufacture of chemotherapy doses, checking volumes for other Aseptic staff, generating worksheets and labels using Epic - the trust's chosen electronic prescribing system, advising the Chief Pharmacy Technician and Associate Chief Pharmacist on amending work practices and documentation to improve the running of the service, maintaining equipment according to procedures and actively encouraging adherence to all procedures relating to the aseptic department and Good Manufacturing Practice.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work alongside pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy section 10 production unit at the Princess Royal University Hospital site based in Orpington, Kent. The post holder will assist in the preparation and dispensing of aseptically produced products in isolators, as well as assisting with the daily monitoring and cleaning of isolators, and the monitoring of the clean room. The post holder will be expected to work to the principles of "Good Manufacturing Practice".
The post holder must be flexible to working at other King's College Hospital trust sites when required to fulfil the service needs of cross-site working.
All work will be carried out according to procedures and standards of professional practice in the Department; however, staff are expected to develop their own safe systems of work to ensure a high professional standard of work conducive to patient safety.

As a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse fleet of emergency and support vehicles.
Your duties will include:
o Servicing, inspecting and repairing ambulances, rapid response vehicles, 4x4s and support vehicles
o Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic systems, including Mercedes Star, Fiat Witech, ODIS and Autel
o Carrying out preventative maintenance and safety inspections to maximise vehicle availability.
o Preparing vehicles for MOT testing (Class IV and VII)
o Undertaking repairs involving electrical systems, welding and fabrication, hydraulics, heating and air conditioning systems.

- Hold full professional membership of the Institute of Medical Illustrators and AHCS registration.
- Continue to develop professional skills through appropriate training and development. Maintain an up-to-date CPD portfolio to satisfy the requirements of the Institute of Medical Illustrators. This is a mandatory requirement to maintain continued CAMIP Registration.
- Photography of all clinical conditions including specialist techniques such as wet dermoscopy using polarized and non-polarised patient contact techniques as well as non-contact dermoscopy. Cross lighting, mole mapping, UV and IR photography as required.
- Use of a variety of DSLR equipment and mobile devices, risks, consent, storage, data protection, patient positioning, infection control, backgrounds, lighting, camera settings, dermoscopy, labelling, choice technique to image different conditions.
- Use of specialist equipment invasive and noninvasive.
- Accurately capture stills and video images of clinical conditions and non-clinical requests. Provide advice to users, as and when necessary, regarding illustration solutions.
- Post capture processing of images using specialised software for image manipulation, page layout and digital asset management. This will include; page layout of templates, colour correction, cropping, exposure etc and uploading onto the Clinical Web Portal.
- Knowledge of the standard view requirements for clinical photography in specialised areas through an extensive understanding of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- Ability to use location and studio lighting in a variety of photographic situations to accurately record a clinical condition is essential.
