An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a part time Ward Administrator/Receptionist based at The Landermere Centre, Clacton on Sea. This vacancy is for an initial 6 months with a view to extending.
We are looking for someone with the ability and confidence to use their own initiative and prioritise tasks. The post holder must possess excellent communication skills and relevant administrative experience, must be flexible and have attention to detail.
The role will involve providing support to our clinical colleagues with administrative tasks by providing front line support both face to face and over the telephone. The hours required are Thursday and Friday 9 am to 5 pm. We will offer you support, supervision, training and the opportunity for personal development. Please note that training may take place on days outside of those listed in the vacancy.
You will also need to be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be given full training on the various systems that we use.
We are looking for someone with a positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care. The role will also include telephone calls and face to face contact with our patients and due to the nature of the services we carry out administrative support for, these can sometimes be distressing.
Main duties of the job
- To provide a comprehensive administration service and functions within the Trusts' Localities.
- The service will ensure the timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using Trust information systems.
- The post holder will require a team approach to ensure cover for absence across all services / locations and the post holder will be required, on occasion, to relocate to provide this cover.
- Due to the nature of the role a strong emphasis is placed on safeguarding confidentiality and this forms a pre-requisite for every Administration Assistant.

We are excited to advertise for 2 x General Adult Consultant to join us working in inpatients at The Harbour, Blackpool. The post is substantive and full time (10 PAs).
You will be expected to participate on the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration is payable.
Post 1; 18 bedded male acute ward (Churchill)
Post 2; 18 bedded female acute ward (Stevenson)
Both posts have SAS Doctors and Resident Doctors established.

The Harbour MH hospital is a state of the art unit based just off junction 4 on the M55. The M55 connects with the M6 and tends to be a really quiet connecting motorway, with rarely any delays. The Harbour is 2 mins from Junction 4 off the M55.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a leading member of the well-established, in-patient, multidisciplinary teams based at the Harbour and will have the following important clinical responsibilities:
o Responsible Clinician for a defined caseload.o Assessment of patients referred by the community teams and responsibility for any of admissions at the Harbour Hospital.o Out of Hours Cover.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register of the GMC or they should be eligible for entry to the Specialist Register within 6 months of the interview date.It is a requirement that applicants are Section 12 Approved at the time of commencing employment and have or are eligible to have Approved Clinician Status. Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Consultant Contract according to previous experience.

The post holder will work as Consultant Psychiatrist in the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). He/she will work with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, social work, occupational therapy and psychology staff. The team works with a limited number of GP practices and there is an expectation that there will be close liaison with those practices. The Consultant will be available to give advice to primary care and the multidisciplinary team. The consultant will have a small caseload of patients that he/she will see in outpatients but the majority of patients will have a separate key worker.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register of the GMC or they should be eligible for entry to the Specialist Register within 6 months of the interview date.
It is a requirement that applicants are Section 12 Approved at the time of commencing employment and have or are eligible to have Approved Clinician Status. Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Consultant Contract according to previous experience.

Main duties of the job
Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. We are seeking to recruit a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Dova Unit at Furness General Hospital, Barrow. The post is full time (10PA).
The postholder will be expected to participate on the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration will be payable (0.5 PA + 5% supplement)
Main duties of the job
The Dova unit, based at Dane Garth in Furness General hospital, is an 18 bedded mixed gender ward. There is an older adults ward also based at the hospital. FGH is a large district general hospital with around 268 beds, a full range of specialities and an accident and emergency department. The Dane Garth unit has established resident doctor posts including FY1s, FY2s a CT and GPSTs. This post holder would have the 2.5 WTE resident doctors supporting ward duties, along with input from a SAS colleague. There is an active monthly peer group meeting of medical colleagues within the Cumbria locality too.
The post holder will work with a multidisciplinary team including matron, ward manager, clinical leads, nursing staff, occupational therapy HCA and recovery support staff.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register of the GMC or they should be eligible for entry to the Specialist Register within 6 months of the interview date.
It is a requirement that applicants are Section 12 Approved at the time of commencing employment and have or are eligible to have Approved Clinician Status. Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Consultant Contract according to previous experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Band Specialist Podiatrist to join our Bank team on a temporary basis, working across Harrow or Brent. This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialist podiatric biomechanics and musculoskeletal (MSK) care within a supportive community service while enjoying the flexibility of bank work.
As the clinical specialist for biomechanics, you will provide expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with biomechanical, MSK and neuromuscular conditions across community clinics and local acute hospital sites. You will play a key role in developing evidence-based treatment plans and delivering highly specialised clinical advice to colleagues across multidisciplinary teams.
You will also act as a clinical leader, supporting and educating podiatry colleagues and junior staff in biomechanical assessment, MSK interventions and best practice. In addition, you will provide education and training to other health and social care professionals, as well as patients, promoting the importance of foot function in preventing and managing MSK injury, dysfunction and disease.
This temporary Bank role requires flexibility to work across Harrow or Brent, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real difference while working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
- To work use your clinical knowledge/skills/influence to guide and educate the podiatry staff within your team and across CLCH Podiatry

As a Bank Band 6 Podiatrist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of podiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care. This post will join the team of consultants responsible for the provision of acute and elective services to the Local Health Board in Cwm Taf. The post will be part of the Urology team and provide support to the Urology on-call rota for daytime cover 7 days a week. The core aspect of the role will be to facilitate Simulation Based Education (SBE) Programmes for Residents in the Foundation and IMT programmes as well as assisting the wider Simulation Faculty with improving patient care and experience through training a wide variety of healthcare professionals.

Dental services in Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust are provided by the Oxfordshire Community Dental Service (OCDS). This service provides National Health Service (NHS) dentistry to a wide range of patients including both adults and children requiring either special care dentistry, or specialist care. In addition to this core role the service also provides emergency care for patients requiring urgent dental treatment who do not currently have a dentist of their own.
The service provides care for patients from ten dental clinics across Oxfordshire located at Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester, Didcot, East Oxford, Luther Street, Kidlington, Wantage and Witney.

For patients who are unable to access the clinics easily there is a countywide domiciliary (home visit) service available by referral. Dental services in Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust are provided by the Oxfordshire Community Dental Service (OCDS). This service provides National Health Service (NHS) dentistry to a wide range of patients including both adults and children requiring either special care dentistry, or specialist care. In addition to this core role the service also provides emergency care for patients requiring urgent dental treatment who do not currently have a dentist of their own.
The service provides care for patients from ten dental clinics across Oxfordshire located at Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester, Didcot, East Oxford, Luther Street, Kidlington, Wantage and Witney.
Several of the clinics are equipped to provide dental treatment with inhalation and/or intravenous sedation and the service also provides dental treatment under general anaesthesia for children and adult special care patients at the John Radcliffe and Horton Hospitals.
For patients who are unable to access the clinics easily there is a countywide domiciliary (home visit) service available by referral. All the clinics have wheelchair access and facilities for patients with disabilities and there is a hoist available at East Oxford Dental Clinic and Murray House for patients who have difficulty transferring into the dental chair.

The Nursing Associate will
Be responsible for delivering evidence-based, high-quality, patient-centred and compassionate care to individuals accessing community-based support through Maundy Relief.

We are looking for an Estates Operations Officer (Mechanical) to join the Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd estates team to manage key mechanical disciplines for the operational estates service provided to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and external clients. Main duties of the job
We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join the Clinical Blood Sciences team. The successful candidate will work primarily within Automated Biochemistry, with opportunities to work across other specialist areas of Clinical Biochemistry following appropriate training and competency assessment.
The successful candidate will play an important role throughout the analytical pathway, including sample processing, operation and maintenance of complex automated laboratory equipment, quality control, calibration, troubleshooting, analysis, validation and authorisation of patient results.
You will be expected to demonstrate sound scientific and technical knowledge, recognise and investigate analytical problems, take appropriate corrective action and escalate issues when necessary. Job summary
We are seeking an organised and motivated Administration Assistant to join the Starfish LD CAMHS Administration team, within Children's Services. This role provides vital administrative support to the Starfish, Starfish Plus and Starfish Medication Pathway teams, helping to ensure services run smoothly and patients and families receive the best possible care.
This will include using specific knowledge of medical terminology to type and format letters and to employ effective waiting list management for appointment booking. Strong communication, IT and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
This is a permanent full-time role (37.5 hours per week), based at Norwich Community Hospital.
Interviews will be held face to face at Norwich Community Hospital.
Main duties of the job
Applicants must possess excellent communication and administration skills, with strong knowledge of all Microsoft Applications. Candidates must be able to work as part of a team and independently as well as being able to use their initiative and work to deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
The postholder will need to have previous administration experience, including experience of undertaking a range of administrative duties as well as having excellent customer care skills.
Applicants will need to be able to evidence a solid background working in a busy office environment, preferably with experience of working in the NHS. Knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the successful candidate.
The postholder will be required to work flexibly and proactively, have good numerical skills and be able to multi-task, demonstrating self-management and prioritisation of their workload.
