If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen within our award-winning Facilities Operational Patient Environment team at both the Leeds General Infirmary Hospital and St Jamess University Hospital Sites in Leeds.
Main duties of the job
As a Facilities Operational Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our patients, by operationally supervising the agreed block/services to ensure the Patient Environment action plan is achieved on time and to the required local and national standards.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience working within some of the following functions and services, (list not exhaustive.)

Assist the Driver Team Leader/Lead Driver in executing the efficient and timely transportation of Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) services, facilitating the transportation of GPs to deliver patient care. This role supports operational teams through administrative functions.
Main duties of the job
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the fleet's vehicles to operate any vehicle as needed.
- Assist in conducting vehicle checks during shifts to ensure the safety of GPs, oneself, and the public.
- Adhere to the driver's rota and shift schedules in compliance with working time regulations.
- Ensure the secure handling of drugs and clinical equipment during shift turnover, recording usage appropriately.
- Complete timesheets, vehicle log sheets, and logbooks, reporting any discrepancies to the Lead Driver.
- Assist in monitoring daily transport performance, reporting findings to the lead driver.
- Report and address any necessary repairs for vehicles and equipment, guaranteeing their fitness for use.
- Participate in license checks, driver assessments, and mandatory driver training.
- Foster positive communication among drivers, GPs, UTC colleagues, and external partners.
- Supporting GPs where needed with Chaperoning
- Supporting GPs if they need any help/support
- Undertake regular stock checks for drugs and any other equipment
- Operating all in car communications and patient management system equipment to support accurate record keeping

Job Summary
Assist the Driver Team Leader/Lead Driver in executing the efficient and timely transportation of Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) services, facilitating the transportation of GPs to deliver patient care. This role supports operational teams through administrative functions.
Main Duties:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the fleet's vehicles to operate any vehicle as needed.
- Assist in conducting vehicle checks during shifts to ensure the safety of GPs, oneself, and the public.

- We have an exciting opportunity to join our Oncology Service as a Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), working across all tumour sites.
- This a newly created, fixed term position for 12 months. Secondment opportunities will be considered.
- As the lead CNS, you will be expected to provide clinical leadership and professional support to the Oncology CNS team, promoting high standards of patient care and driving service development. The role will also involve delivering education, mentorship and professional development across the team.
- The will involve the autonomy of running your nurse led follow up clinics supporting patient pathways and will require you to support prescribing activities.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder will lead, manage, develop, and support the provision of the Oncology Service, delivering high-quality care.
- The post holder will demonstrate a high level of expertise within Oncology service providing advice, education and support to staff, patients, their families and carers and carers.
- They will be responsible for the ongoing development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures and protocols and guidelines in collaboration with other members of the multi-disciplinary teams.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multidisciplinary team as a Primary Care Network Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy technicians play an important role, complementing clinical pharmacists, community pharmacists and members of our Practice and PCN multidisciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work autonomously within their professional scope, using professional judgement and accessing clinical supervision when required.
They will provide pharmaceutical technical support to the medicines optimisation team and programme, undertaking medicines reconciliation, supporting medication reviews, checking medicine administration and promoting effective use of medicines, including inhaler technique. They will support clinical pharmacists with Structured Medication Reviews and help patients get the best from their medicines.
The post holder will improve prescribing quality, safety and cost-effectiveness by supporting agreed medication switches in line with approved protocols, improving repeat prescribing, promoting repeat dispensing and online ordering, reducing clinical risk and minimising medicines waste.
They will undertake clinical audits across the PCN, analyse findings and provide reports to GP practices to highlight progress, identify improvements and support appropriate actions.
The role includes patient-facing work to promote safe and effective medicines use, with referral to clinical colleagues when required. The post holder will support public health and social care needs through lifestyle advice, signposting and addressing local health inequalities.
Overall, the role contributes to safer, effective and cost-effective medicines use, improved prescribing and better patient outcomes across the PCN.

Job summary
Mental Health Recovery Team/CMHT are looking to recruit a band 6 Mental Health Transition Practitioner to support transition for young adults 18-25, into the CMHT/Recovery Team and connect the young adult to their chosen pathway and interventions.
The successful applicant will engage the young adult, carer and referrer prior to referral, where possible, and support the young adult to make informed decisions around their treatment plan and transition. The Transition Practitioner will strive to achieve the transition standards identified by NICE and will ensure the Mersey Care principles of transition are promoted.
The Transition Practitioner will become an integral member of the Community Mental Health Team/Recovery Team MDT, whilst working closely with Children and Young People services and developing a good working relationship with services across the wider system, who are also supporting 18-25 transition throughout primary care and VCFSE's.
The transition practitioner will support any new referrals in to service for any young person aged 18-25, the role will entail supporting carrying out biopsychosocial assessments and any transition in to the recovery cmht
Main duties of the job
The Transition Practitioner will work within the CMHT/Recovery but will display initiative and flexibility to support all potential referrals of young adults, 18-25 years of age. They will support young adults for a limited time period, until the young adult has successfully achieved their transition goals and begun treatment within the team. They will act as their keyworker for this period of time, helping the young adult to navigate a complex mental health system and will support in being a point of contact for the young adult and carer.
The Transition Practitioner will regular analyse the performance against the transition standards to understand where quality improvements can be made and to help shape the role across Community Mental Health Services.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient focused Registered Nurse to join our growing Clinical Homecare Nursing Team as a Community IV Nurse.
Working in partnership with NHS teams and healthcare professionals, you will deliver specialist IV therapies and Parenteral Nutrition (PN) to patients in their own homes, helping them receive safe and effective treatment while maintaining their independence.
This is a community based role requiring regular travel between patient visits. Travel between visits is included within your working hours, and a full UK driving licence is required.

Main duties of the job
As a Community IV Nurse, you will provide specialist nursing care to patients in their own homes, supporting them to safely receive treatment outside of the hospital environment.
You will manage your own patient visits, assess patients and deliver prescribed IV therapies and Parenteral Nutrition, while identifying and escalating any clinical concerns appropriately.
A key part of the role is helping patients become confident and independent with their treatment. You will provide education, guidance and reassurance to patients, families and carers throughout their homecare journey.
You will work closely with NHS teams, healthcare professionals and our wider Clinical Homecare Nursing Team to provide a safe and seamless transition from hospital to home and ensure continuity of care.

The main duties of the role will be:

Main duties of the job
Assessment of fitness to drive and passenger assessment are dynamic and evolving fields which require a commitment to professional excellence, a proven record of continued professional development, as well as an ambition to develop your career within a specialist clinical service.
Based at Walkergate Park Hospital in Newcastle and working flexibly between our outreach bases in Carlisle and Teesside 1-2 times per week, this is an opportunity to become part of a busy, specialist assessment team. You will also be trained to conduct specialist passenger/access, in-car safety, and powered wheelchair/mobility scooter assessments as you develop into your role.
You will have an ability to communicate effectively with service users, health professionals and major stakeholders including DVLA, Motability and the police, as well as having a passion for developing services in line with service user and stakeholder needs.

Bradford Institute for Health Research does large epidemiological studies and works with local communities to deliver high impact research. Our data resources include Born In Bradford (www.borninbradford.nhs.uk), our flagship birth cohort study; Born In Bradford's Better Start, which is designed to evaluate early-life interventions; BiB4All, an ongoing study of new mothers based on consented data linkage; and Connected West Yorkshire, a whole-population linked database including health, social care, and education records
Together these resources make Bradford a unique place to study the determinants of child health and effects of policy and healthcare interventions. We collaborate with national and international partners to study topics including childhood obesity, allergies and infections, mental health, and the urban environment.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to appoint a research data analyst to support the development and analysis of a the Connected West Yorkshire dataset in Bradford, a whole-population linked database including health, social care, and education records. You will be responsible for preparing data for research use, supporting colleagues to do good quality research, quantitative analysis and writing up of research papers and in the planning of new research studies. Previous experience with the use of R, Python and Transactional SQL (T-SQL) will be an advantage, as these tools are used predominantly in the preparation of research datasets.

Job summary
We are pleased to invite applications to join the Training Team at National Imaging Academy Wales (NIAW). NIAW are looking for keen Sonographers Trainer to support the delivery of high-quality Radiology and Radiographic training.
The bank worker will work within the multidisciplinary NIAW team to deliver clinical ultrasound training, clinical supervision, undertake competency assessments and/or deliver simulation support at the NIAW. The bank worker will work with the team to support the delivery of the NIAW 3-year strategy.
NIAW is a state-of-the-art facility with a primary function of providing high quality training to the imaging workforce across Wales. The facility includes a 100-seat lecture theatre, two workstation classrooms, three ultrasound suites and ultrasound simulation room, all with dedicated state of the art, audio-visual equipment.
In addition to supporting training for a variety of professions, the Academy hosts corporate and CPD events, supports with the development of training courses for the Radiology workforce and acts as a natural hub for innovation and research within Radiology.

Main duties of the job
The bank worker will be a qualified and registered Radiographer or Sonographer with postgraduate training in ultrasound, demonstrating expert competence, autonomy, and up-to-date knowledge of ultrasound technology, anatomy, and clinical practice. They will undertake and interpret a range of ultrasound scans, provide high-quality reports, and offer professional advice to colleagues, trainees, and other healthcare professionals. A strong commitment to teaching, supervision, research, and continuing professional development is essential, as is the ability to contribute to the Academy's wider aims in education, innovation, and service development across NHS Wales. The role requires excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills, adherence to professional standards and governance, and responsibility for maintaining safe working practices and accurate records.
