Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Housekeeper to provide efficient high-quality service to patients and be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities in the unit area.
To support the nursing team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness of the ICU, bed areas, equipment, and storage areas. To support in the reporting and monitoring of environmental cleanliness and safety along with the monitoring of quality standards.
To support the team in maintaining stock and equipment levels.
The post provides an exciting challenge to the successful candidate and gives the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the needs of patients, multi-disciplinary team, and relatives.
You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise across multi agencies and multi-disciplinary departments.
The ability to work independently and adapt to an environment of changing priorities is an essential component to consistently facilitate a patient focused approached.
Unfortunately, this role does not meet the criteria required to qualify for sponsorship.
Main duties of the job
We require a well-motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as a Housekeeper within the Intensive care Unit, this role includes the undertaking of daily organisation, maintaining stock levels, audits, and cleanliness of the environment.
You will be working with a fantastic and supportive team who will be happy to assist you as settle within the team. Regular feedback and one-to-one will be provided by your manager to ensure that you stay happy in your job.
Duties include stores ordering, management of stock, maintenance of equipment, also including general housekeeping of the unit.
It is essential that you can work in an orderly and systematic manner, possess good literacy, IT, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.
You should have a caring attitude, as well as the ability to work effectively under direction as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Ward F12 and the Thetare Admissions Lounge is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can utilize a variety of transferable skills to deliver the highest level of patient care. Here, you'll gain valuable experience working with patients from multiple specialties, including general surgery, vascular, orthopaedics, and urology.
Our unit is committed to offering comprehensive support to all our patients, both physically and mentally, from diagnosis through surgery and ongoing treatment. Although the acute care setting can be challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
This position includes extensive training, as well as personal and professional support throughout your tenure.

Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, polite, confident, resilient and organised individual to join the ENT ODP Service as a Health Care Assistant band 2 or Clinical Support Worker band 3 (depending on experience) .

Main duties of the job
- As part of the multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will carry out personal care duties for patients, in support of the registered nurse and other relevant professional practitioners, where appropriate.

Burnley Group Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and conscientious Clinical Admin Assistant to join our fantastic admin team. (Previous applicants need not apply).
This is a key role in our Team and if you enjoy helping people and have an eye for detail then this role is for you.
Working as part of the admin team, you will have specific responsibilities processing SARS (Subject Access Requests), summarising patient records and supporting the admin work for the Safeguarding Lead. Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Clinical Admin team, the postholder will work closely with clinical colleagues in order to support the smooth flow of information in order to contribute to the provision of data for clinical registers and QOF reports, SARS and summarising patient records. Liverpool Community Respiratory Team host The Acute Respiratory Infections Virtual Ward. The service provides a 2-hour rapid assessment hospital admission avoidance and early supported discharge for patients with a range of respiratory conditions. This is from the patient's homes, from 2 acute hospitals and includes the continued case management during their exacerbation in the community.A high level of clinical decision-making is required for this post therefore sound theoretical and practical knowledge relating to this speciality is required.
Given the community-wide nature of this role, a high degree of mobility is required. The role will include working across various locations, with shifts covering 7-days per week.
Main duties of the job
Provide care, treatment plans, advice and guidance in the treatment of others, when dealing with complex highly specialist respiratory conditions in the community and LUHFT hospital sites.
Responsible for the delivery of identified specialist training.
Work in partnership with the other services/stakeholder partnership agencies to enable patients/clients to be treated in the appropriate setting.
Ensure that the team provides a high quality service to its patients/clients by providing caseload and clinical supervision.
Ensure that teams work proactively in order to deliver anticipatory and maintenance care, providing a responsive service to patients with both planned and unplanned care needs.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Advanced Respiratory Practitioner to work within the Liverpool Community Respiratory Team/Acute Respiratory Infections Virtual ward.
Liverpool Community Respiratory Team host The Acute Respiratory Infections Virtual Ward. We provide hospital admission avoidance and early supported discharge for patients with exacerbation COPD, bronchiectasis, community acquired pneumonia and viral lower respiratory tract infections, along with nurse led respiratory optimisation in patient's homes and clinic settings.
Medical leadership is by a respiratory Consultant working in the service. There are also 2 Advanced Clinical Practitioners who provide clinical support. The team is also made up of a team leader, B6 and B7 specialist nurses, physiotherapists, an assistant practitioner and admin support.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedAdvanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)to join our Acute Oncology Service.
We are looking for an autonomous advanced practitioner with strong medical/oncology experience who is passionate about improving care for patients presenting with acute complications of cancer, cancer treatment or suspected new malignancy.
Working as a senior clinical member of the Acute Oncology multidisciplinary team, the ACP will provide expert assessment, advice and advanced clinical support to Emergency Department, acute medical and wider clinical teams caring for patients with known or suspected cancer.
The role will strengthen joint working across Acute Oncology, acute and emergency care, oncology and cancer site-specific services, supporting timely clinical decision-making, investigation, treatment and onward referral.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and evaluation of new ways of working, including opportunities to strengthen outpatient assessment and follow-up, helping to ensure people affected by cancer receive timely specialist input and are cared for in the right place, by the right team, at the right time.
Main duties of the job
About You
You will be an experienced registered healthcare professional with significant experience in oncology and/or acute cancer care.
You will have completed an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent recognised advanced practice qualification and hold an independent prescribing qualification appropriate to your professional background.
You will demonstrate advanced clinical assessment, clinical reasoning and decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with medical, nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
This is an opportunity to join a developing Acute Oncology Service as a senior clinical practitioner, working within the established multidisciplinary and service leadership structure.
The postholder will use advanced clinical practice to strengthen specialist Acute Oncology support across acute care while contributing to the development and evaluation of new models of care that improve coordination, pathways and patient experience.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an ACP to join our Liverpool Community Respiratory Team who provide the Acute Respiratory Infections Virtual Ward.
The Team provides a 2-hour rapid assessment hospital admission avoidance and early supported discharge for patients with exacerbation COPD, bronchiectasis, community acquired pneumonia and viral lower respiratory tract infections, along with nurse led respiratory optimisation in patient's homes and clinic settings. The service is delivered across two hospital sites, clinics and the patients home.
Using Tele medicine, the candidate will have clinical oversight and (in conjunction with Consultants) responsibility for patients who are being managed in their own homes. This will involve working with external agencies and technologies to provide an enhanced Hospital at Home and Early Supported Discharge service for patients with Respiratory conditions
The post holder will provide advanced and expert level of practice (including non-medical prescribing) leading to improved patient outcomes and will act as a professional resource for the multi-disciplinary teampatients and carers, within the scope of their practice and competence,Given the community-wide nature of this role, a high degree of mobility is required. The role will include working across various locations, with shifts covering 7-days per week.

The Unit specialises in elective foot and ankle surgery and provides complex tertiary care including treatment for joint preservation, ankle arthritis, deformity correction and neuromuscular conditions. There are 4 full time Orthopaedic Consultants. In addition, the unit has 3 Clinical Nurse Specialists, 2 physiotherapists, 2 orthotists and a research officer who help in the care on both inpatients and outpatients and who provide a one-stop shop for treatment in clinic. Four trainees are attached to our unit: 2 fellows (these posts), 2 trainee registrars (ST3-ST8), and an international fellow may also be present.
Weekly time table consists of outpatient clinics, operating list, research, MDT meetings, and ward rounds.
Excellent facilities for clinical research are available in collaboration with Institute of Orthopaedics and the biomechanical engineering department. Time will be allowed for individual research.

Main duties of the job
Critical Care at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother hospital is expanding. The unit provides a total of nine Level 3 capable beds, including three isolation rooms, and is extremely well located at the front of the hospital, immediately adjacent to the operating department and very close to the Emergency Department, Acute Medical Unit and radiology.
A recent business case successfully increased the consultant body from four to eight, which has allowed separation of the consultant on-call rota from anaesthetics. A dedicated 1:8 Critical Care consultant rota is now in operation however close links and cooperation remain with the anaesthetic consultant on-call for the site.
The unit has state of the art equipment, including Hamilton G5 ventilators at all bed spaces, including advanced modes of ventilation such as Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV) and APRV. There is a strong focus on Critical Care ultrasound, including echocardiography. There are two FICE supervisors in the East Kent Critical Care consultant body and numerous FICE mentors, including Drs Ana Alegria and Ken Adegoke at QEQM and the unit boasts a Sonosite X-Porte multi-purpose ultrasound machine. There are strong links and cooperation in Echocardiography training with the team at William Harvey, where a yearly FICE course is run.

Job summary
To assist with the co-ordination of a portfolio of clinical research across BCUHB. As an integrated member of the research team, provide all aspects of operational research delivery support including administrative and data management support, ensuring compliance with Research Governance requirements and contribution to the delivery of the local and national research agenda.
Regular travel between NHS and other sites within BCUHB will be required
Main duties of the job
- Provide and receive highly complex and sensitive research information.
- Work closely with clinical colleagues and colleagues across the research infrastructure in order to contribute to robust study feasibility and set-up.
- Contribute to management and administration of Expression of Interest Process to ensure compliance with deadlines and maintenance of database.
- Ensure research protocol amendments are processed and implemented as per governance and legislative requirements.
- Maintain associated research management systems, such as ReDA Portfolio Management System.
- Set-up and maintain Investigator Site Files ensuring robust version control.
- Data management: responsible for data collection on a specific portfolio of studies. Transcribe complex information to Case Report Forms with adequate supervision and guidance.
- Able to receive, handle, analyse and resolve data queries promptly. Direct unresolved queries to appropriate team member.
- Liaise with study sponsors to co-ordinate the archiving of trial documentation, notifying all departments and research team members of study closure and preparing essential documentation for transport to external facility.
- Ensure compliance with Research Governance, qualitative, and legislative requirements such as Good Clinical Research Practice (GCP), Standard Operating Procedures, Research Protocols.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
