Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Specialist Audiologist.
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality audiological services. Your primary focus will be on supporting both the Adult and paediatric Hearing Service, helping individuals regain confidence in their hearing and improving their quality of life.

Main duties of the job
You will be joining an IQIPS accrediated service where they will be expected to provide support to patients attending the audiology service and/or ENT.
You will be required to undertake routine diagnostic assessment of patients of all ages, to fit and maintain NHS hearing aids and participate with all routine duties within the department.
You will also be expected to assist in the day to day running of the Department.
You will be expected to participate with the supervision of BSc students, under the overall guidance of the Team leader.
You will be working with children, families and adults, planning diagnostic testing and rehabiliation programmes.
You will develop a specialist interest area and may take responsibility for this area as part of the team.
Planning and managing a caseload of adult and/or children
Planning and carrying out audiological diagnostic testing
Contributing to data collection for audit and/or service planning
Supervising students and/or junior members of staff
Managing and performing for our home visit service

Job summary
We are looking to appoint a cheerful, motivated and ambitious person to join our Ophthalmology Reception at Southend Hospital. For a part time role with a flexible approach to working hours and duties would be essential.
This is a busy reception and provides a focal point for receiving patients, visitors, and staff where you will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way, but be able to multi task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions and possess excellent communication skills.
No specific qualifications are required; however, you should have good keyboard skills and previous experience in a healthcare setting would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job

Within the paediatric surgical team you will find a wide range of ages as we care for children from birth, sometimes up to 18 years old, with a mix of specialities. CityCares Health Reablement and urgent care services deal with a wide range of cases, providing care and rehabilitation for people presenting with complex pathologies, as well as challenging medical and social circumstances.
We are seeking staff with a wide range of holistic health and social care skills and experiences to complement our service. Visiting patients within their own homes, the teams are dedicated to preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and promoting independence and quality of life. You will be working closely with Occupational therapists, Physiotherapists and Nurses as well as GPs, District Nurses, Community Matrons, the acute trust and a range of Health and Social Care Professionals.
The aim of our service is to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and to facilitate timely and safe discharges from the acute setting. We promote independence and with intensive rehabilitation and assessment, we strive to help our service users to achieve their goals, however big or small. Rehabilitation Support Workers practise under the guidance and supervision of the Clinical team.
The hours of work will be 7am-10pm on a fixed rolling Rota basis (out of hours operations carries an enhancement). The Service operates 7 days per week, 365 days per year and bank holidays.

The successful candidate will;

Job summary
Cruddas Park Surgery are excited to recruit a Salaried GP for six sessions including one fellowship session (negotiable/pro-rata). The post would offer a new challenge to an established GP or the opportunity to flourish as a newly qualified GP.
Cruddas Park Surgery believe we offer a unique approach to Deep End primary care supporting the most vulnerable and invisible through our motivated and expert clinical and non-clinical staff, specialist clinics (including Health Inclusion drop ins, Learning Disability and Special Allocation Scheme), links with the VCSE and Local Authority, and innovative approaches to tackling mental illness through The Space, our multi-agency one stop mental health hub.
The fellowship session has been a successful model in the past and would include a mutually agreed period of protected non-clinical time and regular senior supervision on joining the practice. This session would then become an opportunity to develop an area of clinical or non-clinical interest which was of benefit to our patients.
Employment is subject to the terms of the BMA contract at £12,925 per session including paid CPD time and 6 weeks holiday pro rata. Current routine sessions are 11 new patient face to face appointments. A shared practice electric car is available for home visiting. We have a clear desk policy for holidays and active social calendar including a running club.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will manage an unselected caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients in line with local and national guidelines as well as practice policies. They would be expected to contribute to the pro-rata Duty and Triage rota and home visits; assist in education, supervision and training; as well as play a full role in achieving local and national targets and quality improvement targets. Cancer MDT Trackers play a vital role in ensuring patients are progressed through their cancer pathway smoothly and within national waiting time standards. Main duties of the job
Accurately locate patient information from a range of systems to support the recording of all events along a patient's journey, highlighting any delays and escalating using agreed process. Proactively track and monitor patients along their cancer diagnostic and treatment pathways, ensuring timely progression in line with national Cancer Waiting Time standards. Accurately update and maintain patient records across a range of hospital systems, identifying and escalating any delays or pathway issues. Liaise with clinical teams, departments, and other Trusts to obtain information, confirm diagnostic plans, and help expedite appointments or investigations where required. Support MDT Coordinators with preparation for weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings by identifying patients requiring MDT discussion Review and action correspondence received via the generic NHS.net mailbox ensuring all cancer patients are correctly tracked on the database Maintain the highest standards of data quality and confidentiality at all times Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

The CRHT team is a part of acute care and works closely with the acute hospital and community teams to support clients in a mental health crisis. It offers clients care and support in their own homes as an alternative to hospital admission.
CRHT are able to offer all the benefits of a hospital admission while remaining at home including home visits from our experienced team, with support from doctors and psychology. We also facilitate supportive discharge from hospital, managing the transition back to community-based service.

Main duties of the job
As an Urgent Care Practitioner in our team you will work in partnership with service users with complex health presentations, developing their care plans and recovery plans to enable them to lead fulfilling lives.
You will be responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of top-quality care to service users. This will include working alongside service users, carers, families and partner agencies such as voluntary sector agencies, schools and colleges.
As well as providing specialist nursing advice and carry out nursing procedures, and monitoring the effectiveness of treatments in order to progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention.
You may also be involved in providing clinical supervision to staff and students. This may include acting as shift co-ordinator as needed to lead the team on shift, as well as allocating and delegating tasks to colleagues. We are seeking a Band 4 Sleep Nurse Associate to join our team within the Great Western Hospital to cover maternity leave for one year. Please note, youmust hold current NMC Nursing Associate registration.
You will be required to work across three site, GWH, West Swindon and Moredon Medical Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your clinical skills and knowledge within the Sleep Service.
The Sleep Nurse Associate will work under the direction of the Sleep Specialist Nurses, providing specialist nursing care, support, education and advice to patients, their carer and other health care professionals regarding management of their condition.
Main duties of the job
1. With oversight prepare and set up new patients on Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP). This involves patient assessment, explanation of Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) and CPAP therapy, mask fitting, trial of CPAP equipment and downloading compliance data.
2. With oversight prepare and assist in the setup of new patients up on Non-invasive ventilation, this also includes explanation into therapy, mask fitting and trial of NIV equipment and downloading Compliance data and taking appropriate action as necessary.
3. To deal with clinical queries from new and long-term CPAP and NIV users over the telephone and by email.
4. To provide Home sleep studies and oximetry on an outpatient basis.
5. To Ensure simple fault remedy, cleaning, and maintenance of recording equipment within the service.
6. To Download home sleep monitoring equipment and ensure cleaned and ready for next patient.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bury Hospice for a Clinical Administration Support professional to join our dedicated administrative team, providing essential support to our clinical teams across both the Inpatient Unit and Community Services.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover post for a period of 9 months.
Please note that this role is not covered by Agenda for Change and, therefore, Agenda for Change terms and conditions do not apply.
The post is part-time, working 22.5 hours per week over three days, with the possibility of agreeing set working days.

Main duties of the job
Provide a comprehensive clinical administrative service to support clinical services in the hospice setting.
To work within the policy framework of the hospice in the provision of specialist palliative care by supporting clinical services, predominantly inpatients, in ensuring that all administrative duties are carried out accurately and efficiently.
Maintain confidentiality & data protection regarding all personal information and hospice activity, operating within current legislation.
Establish and maintain excellent communication systems with internal colleagues and external referrers/stakeholders to support timely and efficient admissions, service provision and discharges.
Our Inpatient Unit provides a calm and caring environment for our patients and visitors. Our Community services offer care to patients in their own homes, providing respite, support with personal cares and a night sitting service. Our team of staff are truly committed to ensuring everyone is treated with dignity, respect and compassion.

The Children's Clinical Research Facility
The Children's Clinical Research Facility (CCRF) forms part of the Children's Hospital,based at The Royal London Hospital, but working across other Barts Health hospitals, particularly Newham and Whipps Cross University Hospitals.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for the delivery of high quality clinical care for patients within their homes.

The post holder will need the ability to frequently travel independently and in a timely manner between Livewell Southwest sites and community locations including areas not served by public transport.

Newham University Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust, is seeking a Consultant Physician in Acute and General (Internal) Medicine to join our growing Acute Medicine team on a 12-month fixed-term, full-time basis (10 PAs). The post has been created to strengthen consultant staffing at the hospital's front door and comes at an exciting time: the Division of Medicine has adopted a newly agreed two-directorate operating model, with Acute Medicine now sitting within the new Urgent & Emergency Care (UEC) Directorate alongside the Emergency Department and Same Day Emergency Care. Main duties of the job
Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in their charge, including all administrative dutiesassociated with patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and development of high-quality, patient-centred services within a busy and vibrant department. The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued expansion and innovation of our Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) and ambulatory gynaecology services, while contributing to the wider obstetrics and gynaecology consultant team.
Main duties of the job
About the Role
The successful applicant will:
- Develop the Early Pregnancy service, including the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit.
- Deliver specialist outpatient and ultrasound services for women experiencing complications of early pregnancy.
- Participate fully in the consultant on-call rota for obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching and service development.
- Support multidisciplinary working across women's services
We are looking for a consultant who is:
- On the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of CCT at the time of interview.
- Demonstrate expertise in the management of early pregnancy complications
- Have experience in early pregnancy ultrasound and outpatient management pathways.
- Show a commitment to excellence in patient care, education, research and service improvement.
