Job summary
We are looking for a creative, innovative and motivated advanced practitioner to support the delivery of Occupational Therapy (OT) within Long term conditions Neurology team, based at St Woolos Hospital.
Extensive clinical experience of rehabilitation and neurology is essential. Work as part of the neurology team and as the wider OT team across ABUHB, to deliver high quality, evidence-based OT intervention with individuals who have a neurological condition.
The post holder will deliver advanced clinical interventions along with the development of a consultancy model, utilising evidence-based practice, taking an active role in undertaking service/clinical evaluations, audit and research.
The post offers opportunity to deliver a wide variety of assessments and interventions with individuals in their own homes, community locations as well as in clinic settings. To becreative in treatment planning, and work with Individuals over focused periods of time to support them in achieving varied goals.
The post holder should show commitment to continually developing knowledge, skills and experience in condition management, complex moving and handling, adaptations, specialist seating and support the development of team members and students as part of their clinical leadership role.
Postgraduate experience of working with individuals with neurological conditions is essential as is the ability to work flexibly and proactively to deliver a prompt and clinically effective service.
Main duties of the job
Professional aspects of the Occupational Therapy role include:
Utilise advanced knowledge and skills from a varied clinical background, including in a neurological setting, to assess, treat and manage a varied caseload.
Identify and prioritise the people who will be most likely to benefit from occupational therapy intervention.
Independent, confident decision-making and clinical reasoning with a complex and varied caseload.
Work jointly with the multi-disciplinary team to optimise the impact of occupational therapy.
Identify and implement changes to support the development of this emerging role and service.
Utilise and implement the growing evidence base for occupational therapy practice using a consultancy model, contributing to this where possible.
Deliver a range of occupationally focused assessment and intervention techniques and will join a team that works with people in the community to deliver place-based support to prevent unnecessary admissions, maintain and improve the individual's functional abilities and overall quality of life.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job
To assist the doctors, other clinicians and management in the provision of a high quality service. Receive and direct patients on arrival in a courteous and efficient manner. Process and effectively signpost patients to the appropriate healthcare professional, depending on the presenting condition. Answering general enquiries, explaining processes and responding to requests. Answering telephone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers' requests appropriately. Process patient requests for appointments. Receiving and recording requests for home visits and messages for the doctors & nurses. Process repeat prescription requests in accordance with company procedures. Giving results to patients. Enter patient data onto the clinical system (EMIS) and code appropriately. Initiate contact with and respond to requests from patients, team members and external agencies. To provide cover for colleagues absences.

Join our friendly and dedicated Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Team (ED-ITT) as a Medical Secretary and play a vital role in supporting a specialist service that is currently expanding through a number of exciting new developments and recruitment opportunities. Main duties of the job
As a Medical Secretary within our specialist Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Team, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient delivery of patient care and ensuring the smooth running of the service. Working closely with clinicians, particularly the new to recruit consultant psychiatrist and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate a range of administrative activities, and help maintain effective communication across the service.
This is a new and varied rewarding role requiring excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage competing demands, and a professional, compassionate approach. You will contribute to a busy specialist service that supports individuals with eating disorders, helping to ensure patients receive timely and well-coordinated care while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our histology team who will carry out laboratory investigations on samples of tissue to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required:
- To participate in the provision of the Histopathology service, rotating in all areas of the department as required.

Job summary
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated Mental Health Professional to join the Wellbeing Team (Mental Health and Psycho-Social Substance Misuse) at HMP Eastwood Park.

You will be based with our multi-disciplinary team within the prison and will work closely with a variety of other professionals, including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Non-Medical Prescribers, Social Prescriber, Social Workers, Neurodevelopmental Practitioners and Recovery Co-ordinators.
NOTE: This post is open to newly qualified social workers. In line with AWP trust policy all newly qualified social workers (NQSW) will be recruited initially at Band 5 level, regardless of advertised role banding. All NQSW's are expected to successfully complete their ASYE within 2 years of employment, unless there are exceptional circumstances in which case it may be extended for a further 2 years.
If you have been appointed to an advertised Band 6 role this will be an automatic progression, following confirmation of your successful ASYE completion. If you have been appointed to a Band 5 post you will then be eligible to apply for a subsequent Band 6 vacancy upon successful ASYE completion.
Main duties of the job
This role is focused on providing appropriate, effective interventions and treatments to women with a range of mental health needs, and their carers (including friends and relatives) and their supporters in the community, enabling and assisting them to meet daily health, social care and wellbeing needs, in line with personal recovery goals, and facilitating engagement with mainstream services.
The post holder will work autonomously to undertake emergency assessment in a wide range of locations, planning and delivering defined, intensive, specialist interventions in line with the CPA framework to people with severe and enduring mental health needs, who maybe distressed and in crisis. Where appropriate the post holder will work alongside other services to plan, deliver and review effective "wrap around" intensive interventions to manage risk and prevent hospital admission for those with the most complex needs. This rolenecessitates working a shift pattern.
The prison houses up to 442 women. In addition to the specialist unit for substance misuse, the prison offers a Drug Recovery Community, Mother and Baby unit and health care clinic. The role offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about a variety of psychological strategies and the post holder with be involved in liaison with a wide range of external and internal agencies.

Experience of working within an orthopaedic setting is essential so candidates will need to be a band 5 with a minimum of three years' experience in this speciality. We are a pathway designed to assess and diagnose ASC/ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) within NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) standards
We receive referrals for young people who show possible ASC traits. ASC admin's role is to assist in helping this happen as smoothly as possible.

Processing referrals, creating, editing, using and up keeping various spreadsheets, documents and templates. Taking basic calls and passing on messages to the clinicians, contacting professionals and families on behalf of the pathway via letter, email and phone. Formatting & sending letters, gathering information from professionals, actioning and responding to a variety of emails both internal and external, booking rooms for clinicians and sending appointment letters, filing both electronic and physical paperwork. Sending resources to family, prioritising work & working independently and communicating with the team.

They will help manage and support the administrative team, coordinate workloads and ensure screening pathways, including call/recall, failsafe and higher-risk processes, are managed effectively and in accordance with national standards.
The candidate will monitor service performance, maintain accurate screening data and support the preparation, analysis and submission of KPIs, audits and statutory reports. Main duties of the job

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for motivated Doctors with an interest in Emergency Medicine to develop their knowledge and skills in an innovative and busy trauma centre. We have upcoming vacancy on our SHO and Junior Clinical fellow rota and are looking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced Doctors at ST1/2 level. The posts are suitable for Doctors who have completed Foundation Training [or the equivalent] to join the SHO rota, and at least be post F2, and with some additional Emergency Medicine experience.
The post will include regular teaching and with the opportunity to get involved in audit/research. The department is well supported with middle grades and consultants who work a 24/7 rota. UHCW is a major trauma centre and the Junior doctors have allocated resus shifts in order for them to get involved with acutely unwell patients and trauma. All Doctors are allocated an Education Supervisor on starting a post to support of their educational needs.

The post involves working a full shift rota, including nights and weekends

The Family and Clinical Support Services Division is one of three operational divisions in the Trust. It covers all aspects of Family and Clinical Support Services including Maternity, Child Health, therapies and private patients across the Trust's three hospital sites Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover. Total divisional budget to manage £168m and a staff group of 1900.
Main duties of the job
As the Director of Operations you will lead the day to day operational management of the Division, ensuring it meets the needs of our patients, and achieves set and agreed standards, financial targets and levels of performance. You will be responsible to assure performance in quality, operational standards and delivery by providing and ensuring robust and visible leadership to operational teams, ensuring safe, high quality and efficient service delivery. You will also seek, share and drive opportunities to deliver operational performance and transformational improvement, contributing to the overall success of the Division.

Main duties of the job
To support the Senior Clinic Nurse in ensuring the provision of the safe and effective collection of blood at donor clinics.
To support the Senior Clinic Nurse in all aspects of nursing and clinical care of donors, ensuring a safe environment for all when working on the clinic. Be recognised as a source of clinical knowledge for advice and direction to non-clinical staff.
There will be a requirement for all staff to flex through various teams and blood collection facilities such as bloodmobiles, static sites and community clinics covering a large geographical area.
There is a requirement that the post holder will undertake scheduled tours that will include overnight stays several times a year.

Patient Access Services at Broadgreen Hospital are looking to recruit 2 full time, fixed term Patient Access Clerks for our busy team.

A Catering Assistant vacancy has become available at Liverpool University Hospital. This is a part time post 18 hours per week, working 3 days from 9.00am - 15.00pm. This post is based in the Tower Block Kitchen of Aintree Hospital.
The tower block is the patient kitchen. Duties include collecting patient menus on the wards, stock issues, stock control, belt service, dish washing, pan washing and kitchen cleaning. There may be requirement for working front of house in retail units, which includes using the till. Training will be given. The role does involve standing for long periods of time in a hot and humid environment.
IT skills are required for all positions as the Trust does mandatory training and yearly appraisals online. You will be required to study for your level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, Level 2 Food Allergen training and NVQ 2. Experience of industrial catering is required.
We are looking for staff who are self motivated and can work in a team or on their own unsupervised. Although the jobs are primarily based in the unit advertised, you may be required to work anywhere within the catering department depending on the needs of the service. This could include the Royal & Broadgreen hospitals. You may also be required to work bank holidays, including Christmas Day.
