Job summary
We currently have a vacancy for a carer to support a child /young person in their own home.
Care is required after school for 3 days per week 16:00- 20:00, and during school holidays, hours to be confirmed.
The vacancy is for 14 hours per week, with hours being spread over the year, working more hours during the school holiday period.
As a Home Support Worker, you will be delivering care to child /young people within the home environment. This involves being trained to competently deliver specialist care procedures dependant on individual needs.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will include -
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team involved in the assessment and care of children with complex nursing needs.
To communicate at an appropriate level for individual children, young people and their carers
Undertake nursing duties, as agreed with the Orchard Service who are responsible for the child/ young person.
To understand individual plans of care to ensure appropriate action is taken in the event of a change in condition or problem occurring.
Assist with the personal care and comfort of the child and to always maintain the child's dignity and privacy, including manual handling when necessary.
Assist in maintaining a safe environment for the child, family/carers and staff, including safe use of equipment, reporting any malfunctions urgently.

Main duties of the job
We pride ourselves on maintaining cleaning standards to a star-rated audit process.
Join our teams, we pride ourselves in providing outstanding care to patients across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We will provide you with resources to develop and progress a long-term career to include flexibility, continual professional development as well as a wide range of wellbeing and support.
Working alongside clinical teams and infection control, housekeeping teams ensure the cleanliness of the Trust's estate in accordance with national standards and the Trust's strategic cleaning plan.
You will be responsible for delivering a fully comprehensive and professional cleaning service, to meet NHS standard of cleanliness and other housekeeping duties in accordance with schedules and procedures and will work within local community hospitals/other inpatient settings/health centres/clinics and administration areas. You will also be required to relay information that may impact on other clinical/non-clinical services. The role will provide you with variety as no two days are the same.
In return, you will receive full support, training, and guidance to enable you to undertake a range of cleaning duties to include, general cleaning tasks (bathrooms, kitchens, wards, clinics, theatres, office areas, etc.) as well as specialised cleaning processes to include machines, with some specific tasks being tailored to the needs of a particular service and around patient care.

Main duties of the job
The Sunlight Project is a structured group work program of 8 sessions set within primary schools for children aged between 7-11 who are affected by someone else's substance use. The project aims to move any sense of blame or guilt away from the child, increase their skills of emotional regulation, provide age appropriate information, and helping them to identify support networks.
The Sunlight Project sits within WithYou in Kent for Young People, we are the commissioned provider of substance use support for young people aged between 10-25 years old.
The role will require you to facilitate small groups in primary schools with children affected by someone else's substance use. The groups will be focused around age appropriate discussions and therapeutic activities with the aim to promote self esteem and improve their emotional wellbeing. You will use outcome tools to measure any progress and liaise with schools to achieve the best outcomes for these children. This role will cover the whole of Kent, with groups running in approximately 6 schools per 2 school terms with mileage costs contributed towards by the service.
This position is offered on a full time (37.5 hours), fixed term until 31/01/2029 working Monday - Friday. As a Young Person's Worker, we offer a starting salary of £26,250, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £30,900 per year. Could you identify if a detainee is suffering from a mental health condition? If they are uncooperative or lacking diabetes medication? If they are a substance misuser or suffering from a head injury? Our Forensic HCPS are responsible for assessing and addressing the health needs of detained persons, as well as conducting forensic medical examinations gathering evidence for use in the criminal justice system.
Main duties of the job
You will be conducting clinical assessments, identifying, and implementing appropriate interventions and collecting forensic samples. Providing advice and guidance to ensure appropriate care is maintained and keeping detailed and accurate records to ensure the health, safety and welfare of detained persons held in police custody.

Main duties of the job

To be proactive in ensuring that all patients receive rapid assessment, treatment and clinical decision making, whilst ensuring that the Emergency Access Standards are adhered to, ensuring that we deliver safe, high quality care.

Bowel Cancer Screening has been provided at NCIC since 2008 as part of the Cumbria and Morecambe Bay Screening Service. We look to continue our quality service by recruiting an additional colonoscopist. You will join us at an exciting time following the opening of our new £15M, 5 room, State of the Art, JAG accredited Endoscopy Suite. A full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including ERCP, are available.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for committed Doctors to become an integral part of the GI team. The post holder will provide dedicated colonoscopic screening lists and together with their gastroenterology colleagues will contribute to inpatient and outpatient care.
The gastroenterology consultant team share the responsibility of "Consultant of the Week" on a rotational basis to cover the GI inpatient work and contribute to the GI bleed rota. The team is supported by deanery trainees, Trust doctors and specialist nurses.
The post holder may be expected to fulfil some of their clinical commitments on other sites in the Trust.
We are passionate about teaching, and you will be able to play your part in teaching the next generation of doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals. Currently, NCIC provides paediatric assessment and inpatient services at both CIC and WCH,with 38 beds across the two sites (24 general and acute beds at CIC and 14 beds at WCH).CIC operates as 16 inpatient beds and eight assessment beds from 08.00 to 20.00 hours and 18 beds overnight. Paediatric patients with acute surgical problems are being admitted at CIC.The 14 beds in WCH operate as seven inpatient beds and seven assessment beds from 08.00to 21.00 hours; they function as a 14-bed area overnight. Elective surgery in children isperformed on both sites.We are currently in the process of phasing changes to the way we deliver the short stayPaediatric Assessment Units across both sites with a plan to move to a more extended SSPAUhours with the support of experienced and newly qualified nurse practitioners. The SSPAU isbeing developed and supported by close collaboration with A&E department. Trust Registrars work alongside Paediatric Consultants and junior trainees in a rota thatincludes day and night shifts and is fully EWTD compliant. As a Lived Experience Support Worker in Cornwall youll join us on a salary of £27,250 per annum pro rata (this includes a £1,000 per annum allowance). This role is permanent and part time working 18.75 hours per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Senior Administration Assistant within Neurodiversity Services.
The role is embedded within the Adult Autism Diagnostic Service; however, the successful applicant may be required to offer cross-service support to our colleagues in Children's Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Long-Term Health Conditions, including some reception duties. The role will include working alongside our independent and charitable partner providers and supporting service delivery.
We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our administration team who has excellent communication skills.
The clinical team operates between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. The administration team is expected to support the clinical teams during these hours.
Main duties of the job
You will provide administrative support to the service, supporting junior staff and contribute to the planning and development of the service as a member of the team.
The role will include:
- Working with the other Senior Administrator in the day to day running of the service, prioritising work and delegation
- Good communication skills
- Being the first telephone contact for emergency and urgent referrals
- Updating Trust/clinical systems and supporting waiting list management
- Work part of admin team and independently
- Work closely with the clinical team
- Providing leadership and supervision to Band 2 Admin Assistants
- Preparing and editing letters, reports and emails
- Covering reception if required
- Managing the room booking system
- Ordering and maintaining clinical/non-clinical stock
- The role is highly challenging and there is an emphasis on in-house training
