An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Consultant ENT Surgeon to join the Head & Neck Service at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, part of Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group. The successful candidate will join a supportive team of Consultant ENT Surgeons delivering high-quality elective and emergency ENT services across Lincolnshire. The role offers opportunities to contribute to service development, teaching, training, audit and research whilst providing comprehensive ENT care to our local population.
Main Duties of the Job
- Deliver high-quality elective and emergency ENT services.
- Undertake outpatient clinics, theatre sessions and inpatient care.
- Participate in the Consultant ENT on-call rota.
- Support the education and supervision of junior doctors and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Contribute to audit, clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
- Participate in the ongoing development of ENT services across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will provide a comprehensive ENT service, including outpatient clinics, theatre activity, ward care and emergency ENT provision. The role includes participation in multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical audit, teaching, research and service development. The post holder will work closely with Consultant colleagues, junior doctors and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care. Participation in the Trust-wide ENT on-call rota is required.

Ensure high-quality support for the Trust's Digital estate, systems and services, and device lifecycle/asset management across a regional multi-site Mental Health Trust.
Main duties of the job
Service Delivery & OperationsLead 1st and 2nd line support and field engineering, ensuring effective triage, prioritisation and resolution against SLAs/OLAs. Act as, or appoint, Major Incident Manager, coordinating stakeholders and overseeing clear communication and post-incident reviews. Monitor performance (SLAs, MTTA, MTTR, backlog, CSAT) and drive continual service improvement through data insights.
Stakeholder Engagement & Customer ExperienceAct as key liaison for service delivery across divisions and corporate services, leading service reviews and user forums. Improve customer satisfaction and ensure alignment with clinical and business priorities.

We are a well-organised, forward-thinking practice led by two GP Partners and an experienced Practice Manager. Stratton Medical Centre is a busy town practice on the outskirts of Bude. We have over 10,700 patients who are looked after by an integrated team of 9 GPs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, a Paramedic, 2 Nurses, 3 Health Care Assistants and a Phlebotomist.
As part of a wider Primary Care Network (PCN), our GP team also benefit from a clinical pharmacist, a home visiting paramedic, a social prescriber and health and wellbeing coach. Main duties of the job
The Post Holder will be a highly competent individual, who will play a key role in co-ordinating the Frailty Team activities and act as a Social Prescriber for patients and their families / carers as needed. They will work with members of the team and other health and care providers to share information to jointly plan care and provide a streamlined service.
The post holder will be performance managed with clear objectives designed to evidence your success in delivering excellent patient satisfaction and health outcomes, supporting the Frailty Team patient caseload, developing colleagues skills, and lastly supporting patients to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.

There are 1000+ adult cardiac surgical procedures per year currently being undertaken in three cardiac theatres at the SouthWest Cardiothoracic Centre with an increasing commitment to minimally invasive cardiac surgery.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to apply for this band 6 Specialist BMS role in the Clinical Biochemistry Department at Charing Cross Hospital Automation laboratory.
We are seeking a self-motivated and suitably qualified Biomedical Scientist with strong post registration experience, along with an IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Clinical Biochemistry or equivalent demonstrable specialist knowledge and experience.
Although we are recruiting for a Band 6 Specialist BMS in Clinical Biochemistry, if a suitable Band 6 candidate is not appointed, the post may be offered under Annex U, with progression to Band 6 on successful completion of the relevant IBMS Specialist Portfolio.
As both biochemistry and serology assays are performed on same platforms, you will be expected to rotate through Serology section upon completion of appropriate training and competency.
The laboratory is covered for 24 hours seven days a week and you would be expected to participate in the late/weekend shifts and contribute to the continuity and quality of care for patients in the Trust hospitals. Staff are also expected to work across our six hospital sites when required.It is an essential requirement that applicants are HCPC state registered with a significant post registration experience in an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory.

Applications are invited for a 6-month to 1-year Resident Registrar post in Paediatric Surgery within our department at Birmingham Children's Hospital, one of the busiest in the United Kingdom. The post will be on the Resident (1 in 8) tier of Paediatric Surgery and Urology on call rota (depending on the experience of the successful applicant). Main duties of the job
The Department of Paediatric Surgery and Urology consist of 14 Consultant Paediatric Surgeons and Urologists. We serve a regional population of over 5 million, as well as receiving supra-regional referrals for complex cases. In addition, two Paediatric Hepatobiliary and Transplant surgeons provide their training expertise.
The placement offers exposure to a wide range of Paediatric Surgery and Urology at tertiary level. Successful Candidates will join the team on the Resident Registrar Tier on the Paediatric Surgery and Urology on call rota (please see job description for a description of the tiered rota).

We are looking for an Operational Support Officer to join our Make Ready and Logistics services on a full-time, permanent basis, playing a key role in keeping our frontline services safe, compliant and ready to respond.
This is a hands-on, operational role with real accountability. This is a new role within Hywel Dda's growing patient facing, single point of contact service; The Communication Hub.

Job summary
The Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit experienced cardiac surgeons to join the middle-grade cardiac surgery team on fixed term contracts, with posts available for 6-24 months.
The applicant will join the existing team of cardiac surgical middle grade staff at Birmingham Children's Hospital, working on a 1:4 on-call rota.
Posts are available to start from October 2026 - April 2028
Applicants must possess GMC registration and License to Practice, or have acquired the requisite scores in the IELTS or OET to be eligible for GMC registration. The position is not recognised for training. Applicants from outside the UK not in possession of the requisite IELTS certificate to prove proficiency in English will not be shortlisted.
Main duties of the job
The fellow will assist in the operating theatre and perform some procedures under supervision, perform invasive procedures on the ICU, organize weekly MDT meetings, organize operating lists, conduct surgical rounds on the cardiology wards, and support the out-patient post-operative nurse-led clinic.
The on-call rota has been altered to comply with the provisions of the New Junior Doctors' Contract. There is a 1:4 non-resident rota, with the on-call fellow on-site until 2230. After this the Fellow may be off-site on condition that s/he can access the ICU within 15 minutes.
On-call commitments are principally in the day-to-day management of post-operative cases on the ICU, presentation on ICU rounds, conducting business rounds on the wards, organizing the operating list for the next day, and liaising between ICU and surgical teams. The fellow is expected to take an active role in the joint management of ICU cases, including those on ECLS.
The Adult Congenital Heart Disease Service is based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, and fellows will have the opportunity to participate in the fortnightly MDT and the weekly operating list. Fellows have no on-call duties at the QE Hospital.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Sunderland Talking Therapies to appoint a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. The position is full time hours (37.5 per week) for either a qualified PWP who holds a PWP accreditation or a Trainee PWP who is nearing the end of training due to be ratified, and wants to develop their skills and experience within our team. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.
The successful candidate should:
- Have successfully completed an academic course of study in line with the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and be qualified as a PWP (e.g. PG Cert Low Intensity Psychological Therapies)
- We are also interested in receiving applications from current Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners who are enrolled on a PG Cert in Low Intensity Psychological Therapies and are due to qualify. If you are a current Trainee PWP you would initially be employed at Band 4 and once marks have been ratified by your university examination board, and you have gained PWP registration this would be uplifted to a Band 5.
- Have a current registration with the BABCP or BPS, or be able to immediately apply for this once in post (PWPs will remain at band 4 until registration has been submitted and confirmed).
Main duties of the job
In this role you will:
- Undertake triage screening assessments and make onward referrals
- Provide a range of low intensity interventions e.g. guided self-help (both telephone, online consultation and face-to-face), psycho-educational courses and computerised CBT
- Have the opportunity to contribute to a number of innovative service improvement projects, champion roles and specialist interest groups
- Liaise with external agencies and services to promote Sunderland Talking Therapies
- Have the opportunity to act as a mentor to trainee PWPs
- Work closely with other PWPs to support one another and utilise skills and knowledge
- Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and engage in team huddles
