Channel Health Alliance is seeking an experienced and motivated General Practitioner (GP) to provide clinical leadership within our Integrated Neighbourhood Team, delivering high quality, patient-centred care to patients across our Primary Care Network (PCN).
This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who enjoys autonomous practice, multidisciplinary working, and supporting the development of innovative community-based services. You will play a key role in providing senior clinical decision-making, leading clinicians, and ensuring timely, effective care for some of our most vulnerable patients.

Main duties of the job
About the Role
As the Integrated Neighbourhood Team GP, you will:
- Provide senior clinical triage and determine the most appropriate response to home visit requests.
- Deliver clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to Advanced Clinical Practitioners and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Undertake home visits for patients with complex medical needs when required.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in their own homes.
- Prescribe medication according to national and local prescribing guidance.
- Carry out CGA, RESPECT and SMRs.
- Support service improvement, education, training, and clinical governance activities.
- Work collaboratively with GP practices, care homes, community services, and partner organisations.
- Ensure high standards of patient safety, record keeping, and professional practice.

Channel Health Alliance was established in April of 2017 providing a range of primary and community services on behalf of the NHS. We are delighted to have attained accreditation with the Care Quality Commission, and a CQC rating of good which only a few federations have achieved.

Medical Secretary - Part-Time - 21 hours per week - Permanent
Applications are invited from hard working and organised individuals to provide a high quality secretarial and administrative service based within the Gastroenterology Department within the Medicine Business Unit. You will be based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Main duties of the job
You should have previous secretarial/administrative experience, preferably within an acute medical setting. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential together with good organisational and planning skills. You should possess RSA/OCR III in Text/Word Processing or have the equivalent level of experience or be working towards this. You should also have knowledge of a range of secretarial procedures and software programmes. A working knowledge of CareFlow(Patient Administration System) is also desirable. You should also have an understanding of medical terminology. NVQ Level III in Business Administration or equivalent experience is essential. An Audio typing certificate or relevant experience is desirable.
The post holder will be expected to prioritise their work on a daily basis using a significant amount of initiative and discretion in the discharge of all duties.
Duties will include typing of clinical correspondence. Co-ordinating multi- disciplinary team meetings, booking appointments, data collection and filing of orphan data. You will also be expected to retrieve case notes and record patient activity and outcomes on Careflow.

We are seeking a highly skilled full-time Clinical Psychologist with broad experience to join our team at University College Hospital.
The gastrointestinal services division at University College Hospital is one of the largest in the UK, comprising clinical and academic consultant physicians working within the subspecialty areas of upper GI/laser medicine, HPB medicine, lower GI/IBD, nutrition, and clinical physiology. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Gastroenterology Psychology Service
We are a small skilled and varied multidisciplinary team of psychological professionals providing specialist gastroenterology psychological assessment, formulation and intervention to patients and teams within UCLH. We work directly with multidisciplinary teams across Neurogastroenterology and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), and into other cross-disciplinary teams across gastroenterology outpatient and inpatient services. Specialty teams include administration staff, gastroenterologists, clinical nurse specialists, pharmacists, dietitians, surgeons and other professionals. Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be the main Clinical Psychologist working with adults primarily with IBD and GI Physiology patients within GI Services Division to reduce/prevent undue psychological distress and promote recovery within the parameters of wider NHS, trust and professional governances and psychological evidence.

To greet all patients and relatives attending the Emergency Care Centre / Blaydon UTC in a professional manner.
To ensure all patients coming into the A&E / Blaydon UTC departments are registered efficiently and accurately on to the Trusts electronic computer systems.
To provide front line reception / ward clerk duties, answering telephone enquiries from GPs, patients, relatives, members of the public and other organisations
Answering face to face enquiries from patients and clinical staff within the department
Work as a team and autonomously delivering a comprehensive administration / clerical service to all areas within the Emergency Care Centre.
To manage appointment systems, patients registration systems and all other service software. In addition, booking, rescheduling and cancelling patient clinic appointments
Maintaining patient computer and paper records
To offer flexibility around the working patterns to ensure adequate staffing levels during all service hours. As an Emergency Department post holders will be expected to work on a 24hr rota including weekends and Bank Holidays including Christmas and New Year.
Liaising with internal and external agencies

We are pleased to invite applications for a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in oncology to join our dedicated and forward-thinking team.
You will be primarily based at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, with an expectation to work flexibly across Mid and South Essex (MSE) sites in line with service needs.
Our Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to women across the Mid-Essex region, including Chelmsford, Witham, Braintree, and Maldon. You will play a key role in providing expert clinical care, contributing to service development, and supporting multidisciplinary collaboration within a well-established team.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your specialist interest in oncology while contributing to a service focused on innovation, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated clinician with strong clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering outstanding care to our local community.
Main duties of the job
- Provide full-time Obstetrics and Gynaecology services, including labour ward cover, antenatal and general gynaecology clinics, and elective/emergency theatre work.
- Develop a specialist focus in oncology, supporting the oncology lead in managing cancer and complex benign cases.
- Deliver high-quality surgical care, with advanced minimal access (laparoscopic) skills highly desirable.
- Contribute to service delivery across MSE sites, supporting service change and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively within the team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care across obstetrics and gynaecology services.

Job summary
Applications are invited for a new post for a Specialty Doctor Physician in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine.
The Endocrinology Team currently consists of three Consultants (Lead Dr Rehman Khan), and one Acute Physician with interest in Endocrinology. The junior clinical team comprises two Specialist Registrars, two Trust grade doctors, one CMT trainee and two FY1 trainees. There is a Diabetes Specialist Nurse team consisting of four FTE and support staff.
The team runs a full range of diabetic clinics including weekly diabetic and endocrine antenatal clinics, 4 diabetes foot clinics per week, 3 Endocrine weekly clinics, a transition diabetes clinic (jointly with paediatrics), a monthly thyroid cancer clinic, insulin pump clinics (lead Dr Choo-Kang). Additionally, three weekly diabetic clinic are run with community diabetes service for general diabetes care. The community diabetes service is supported by regular Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings (3 consultants, 6 DSNs and specialist diabetes dietician) to discuss complex and challenging cases and to agree consensus management plans.
A twice monthly endocrine MDT meeting is held (endocrinologists, surgeons, pathologist and radiologists) to discuss appropriate cases.
Main duties of the job
There is a designated Diabetes and Endocrinology ward where patients with complications such as Diabetic foot disease, Cushing's disease, diabetic emergencies and other complications are admitted.
You will partake in acute unselected medical takes and clerk acutely ill patients and support junior doctors to manage such emergency admission patients
You will participate in departmental and Trust clinical governance and audit meetings, participate in CPD activity, engage in the appraisal process and maintain professionalism at all times.
You will actively participate in various Trust wide teaching and training events to junior doctors, medical students and allied health professionals.
You will participate in other duties as deemed necessary and directed by designated consultant for the care of the patient.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Glaucoma Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).
You will be responsible for providing expert nursing care and clinical leadership for patients attending the Glaucoma Service within Ophthalmology at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. Working across all MSE sites, you will play a key role in supporting the assessment, monitoring and management of patients with glaucoma and ocular hypertension, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care.
The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously within their scope of practice, managing nurse-led glaucoma clinics and contributing to service development and improvement. They will work collaboratively with consultants, optometrists, senior nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support patients throughout their treatment pathway.
The Glaucoma CNS will be accountable for the provision of excellent nursing care, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients while promoting dignity, respect and human rights through the adoption of person-centred care principles. They will also act as a clinical resource for patients, carers and colleagues, providing education, support and expert advice to improve patient outcomes and experience.
Main duties of the job
Be conversant with Trust policies, procedures and clinical guidelines, ensuring compliance with local and national standards relating to glaucoma care.
Act as a clinical expert within the Glaucoma Service, contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting service improvement initiatives.
Undertake comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring and review
Ensure patients are managed within recommended clinical timescales and national targets, supporting the prevention of avoidable sight loss through timely intervention and follow-up.
Provide clear, evidence-based information, education and support to patients, carers and families to enable informed decision-making and promote self-management where appropriate.
Work autonomously within scope of practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, making clinical judgements based on analysis of available information.
Initiate appropriate referrals to consultants, optometrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care and effective management of complex cases.
Supply and/or administer medications in accordance with Patient Group Directions (PGDs), local protocols, or the Trust's prescribing policy for non-medical prescribers where appropriate.
Provide advice and support to patients regarding diagnostic tests, treatment options, laser procedures and surgical interventions, ensuring relevant written and verbal information is provided.
