Job summary
We are delighted to offer this opportunity to join our team of paediatric emergency physicians at Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales (UHW). These posts are aimed at middle grade doctors in Emergency Medicine or paediatrics with an interest in Paediatric Emergency Medicine.
The post is available from 4th August 2027 to 2nd August 2028.
Appointees can have up to 30% of their time devoted to one or more of the above activities which will be facilitated through links with the EMAC at Cardiff University with use of an office based in the university
Appointees will have 70% of their time allocated to clinical duties in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. They will participate in the out-of-hours rota.
Main duties of the job
You will provide a service in the speciality to the hospitals so designated, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of accidents and acute emergencies.
You will have responsibility for the care of patients in your charge and for the proper functioning of the department in line with the Department's Operational Policy.
You will be responsible for the professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.
You will be responsible for undertaking the administrative duties associated with the care of patients and the administration of the department in the UHB.
Excellent opportunities are available to pursue research, both those currently being undertaken in the Department and those of interest to the individual.

Job summary

Main duties of the job
You will support the effective implementation of current and new pathways that support patients being treated within waiting time targets or standards.
You will ensure the operational management of clinical administration support teams are effective for the Care Group, the organisation and the Patient.
You will build relationships within the team to support and motivate them, addressing barriers to change and transformation by actively listening and negotiating change to a wide team audience. Coaching skills will be required as team members adapt to new working practices. This will be on an ongoing basis to ensure the annual plans are met.
You will line manage and offer support to Team Leaders/Supervisors within the care group. Providing effective training, development and review of performance in line with Trust policies, recruitment and selection, resolution of disciplinary and grievance issues, and management of sickness absence.
You will ensure the implementation of relevant Trust and departmental policies and procedures and support the Team Leaders/Supervisors in their implementation.

We currently have an opportunity to provide a 1-year fixed-term maternity cover (0.8wte) for our Clinical Psychologist in a dedicated mental health service for older adults. The Trust's Older People's service has been rated as 'good' by the CQC. As the team psychologist, you will provide specialist clinical psychological assessments of individuals, carers and families of service users, using and interpreting complex psychological data from a variety of sources. This will include neuropsychological assessment and formulation. You will also provide formulation and implementation of formal psychological treatment and/or management plans, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the service user. You will play a key role in supporting and developing team formulation and the implementation of a range of psychological interventions for service users, and, where appropriate, carers and families.
Main duties of the job
You will need to make highly skilled evaluations and decisions about treatment options taking into account theoretical and therapeutic models and highly complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes and provide specialist clinical psychology expertise, knowledge, advice and guidance to facilitate the effective and appropriate provision of psychological care.
You will be joining a very warm, positive and psychologically-minded team who are strong in their own professions (nurses, medics, occupational therapists, support workers and social care), able to reflect on their clinical practice and contribute to formulations. The team are used to hosting Trainee Clinical Psychologists, as well as other students, and you will have the opportunity to continue to provide clinical placements for the University of East Anglia (UEA). The feedback from our Trainees is that the team is fun, welcoming and nurturing. We also have strong links with UEA in lecturing and research. Your role will include a mixture of direct clinical work, groups, consultation, supervision, training and evaluation/research to ensure the team has the widest possible impact.
About us
The team works with older people who may have a range of complex mental health difficulties, including difficulties relating to attachment issues, trauma, people with dementia, including Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD), anxiety and depression.
Within West Suffolk Older People's services you will join a small team of psychologists, psychology assistants and Trainee Clinical Psychologists who have experience in CBT, CFT, ACT and Neuropsychology and we are currently looking to expand the access to and range of psychological therapies on offer to older people within our services.
We have excellent connections with other Older People's services across the Trust. There is a Trust wide Older People's Clinical Collaborative to promote clinically-led, evidenced based, practice. We also have a number of QI Projects happening within our West Suffolk OP teams currently underway include improving physical health monitoring for older people, research into co-production, and improving referrals through training Care Home colleagues. We are also involved with the Trust's LiA project to promote Proactive Resolutions.
Clinical supervision will be provided by the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.

The appointees will join with the existing Acute Physicians in the Department of Acute Medicine at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.Though this primarily post is based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, cross site work may be required at Peterborough City Hospital.Specialists in Acute Internal Medicine or General Internal Medicine recognised by the EEC are eligible to apply. Appropriate office accommodation, secretarial support and IT support will be provided. The post holder will work across our Acute Medicine department on Acute Assessment Unit (AAU), the Short Stay Unit and the Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU). The AAU sees, assesses, and treats patients in our acute unselected medical take. Ambulatory care is overseen by a consultant and staffed by specialty doctors and by advanced nurse practitioners, Short Stay Ward receives medical patients likely to be discharged within 72 hours of admission and achieves a high turnover of patients per day.We are particularly keen to recruit and support candidates willing to develop a clinical leadership role.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist working 37.5 hours per week to join the Patient Services Team at Scunthorpe General Hospital. The working days will be Monday to Friday, with working hours between 8am and 8pm (normal working hours 8.30am to 5pm). Main duties of the job

- To act as point of contact for patients and their representatives who contact the modalities.
- To help book and arrange for patients to be seen at sites under the Community Diagnostic Community hub and in St George's Radiology.
- To ensure that the electronic appointment work list is updated and monitored, that all appointments are made within the specific waiting time requirements and that all relevant paperwork is correctly filed and retrieved from all sites where the patients are imaged.
- To ensure images are on our PACS system when scanned at other sites.

We are seeking an experienced Dietitian to join our diverse dietetic team. The post will also be suitable as a band 5 to 6 progression post as preceptorship, training and development can be provided.

In partnership with Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, West Kent Primary Care (WKPC) has established a community diabetes service as part of an integrated community diabetes service for West Kent residents.
WKPC would like to recruit a Diabetic Specialist Nurse or Primary Care Nurse with a specialist interest in diabetes to join our team.

The team is supported by an external lead nurse Consultant who is renowned nationally in the field of diabetes who provides professional development as needed by the team.

This is a dynamic, patient-facing, back-office, and digitally advanced customer service role that maximises the use of digital tools and automation to maximise patient care and the overall patient experience. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work 24 hours per week.
24 hours as follows: 08:00 - 18:00 Mondays and Tuesdays; 13:30 - 18:00 Wednesdays.

Job summary
We have a 2 permeant full time posts available for a motivated and enthusiastic band 5 Occupational Therapist to work on a rotational basis across acute and community areas Scunthorpe. Together we aim to deliver high quality services across a range of clinical areas with core rotations lasting for 6 months and currently inclusive of, medicine, stroke, orthopaedics, and intermediate care/community settings. In addition, we offer the opportunity to gain exposure to specialist clinical areas such as hand therapy and pediatrics.
This is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified or experienced band 5 occupational therapists to gain skills and experience working across both acute and community services.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will receive formal support from senior staff within the team together with preceptorship in your first year and regular supervision and Appraisal. You will be responsible for the day to day management of your own caseload of patients and participate in quality assurance processes for the allocation of the work.
The rotations include community settings and outreach therefore you will be required to be able to travel across the county within your duties. You will have the opportunity to work very closely with social care staff and nurses.As a junior clinician you will hold a standard case load and you will have the ability and support to make clinical evidenced based decisions across a range of physical patient conditions. You will be expected to work as an autonomous practitioner, manage and prioritise your case load.
