Were looking for an experienced and highly skilled Consultant General Surgeon to join our dedicated team at the Practice Plus Group Hospital Birmingham. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality elective care in a modern, brand new, purpose-built hospital.
Youll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering specialist care, with first-line cover provided by RMOs, the on-call responsibility is minimal and shared on a rota with colleagues.
Main duties of the job
As our General Surgeon, you will provide a full range of surgical diagnosis, treatment and care to inpatients, day patients and outpatients who require general surgery.
Whilst a full time working week will comprise 40 hours (10 PAs) , working patterns will be flexible and may entail an ad-hoc mix of late evenings and weekend work to meet the requirements of the unit. Part Time applications will also be considered.As a key member of the centres team you will be working closely with our team of Consultants across a wide range of specialisms and the hospitals Medical Director, and local Leadership Team.

Are you passionate about supporting people to regain their independence & achieve their rehabilitation goals in their own homes?
We are looking for a motivated, caring & enthusiastic Band 3 Home Care Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive Community Rehabilitation Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside District Nurses, Physiotherapists , Occupational Therapists and other members of the multidisciplinary team, providing person-centred rehabilitation and support to patients in their own homes.
As a Home Care Practitioner, you will support patients to maximise their independence and confidence with everyday activities following illness, injury or a period of hospitalisation.
You will work as part of the wider rehabilitation team, carrying out delegated rehabilitation programmes and providing practical support in line with individual patient goals and agreed care plans.
The ability to work over 7 days is a requirement of the post. The hours of work will be on a rota covering a shift pattern between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
ICCs aim to address the challenges of an aging population and increasing demand on health and care services by providing more out of hospital care and empowering people to take control of their health and wellbeing.
Main duties of the job
Cockermouth & Maryport ICC is a friendly multidisciplinary team, with staff who work together to facilitate early discharge from hospital or prevent unnecessary admission as well as providing palliative care support within the persons own home.
The team has close working relationships with all the local health and social care teams, and we pride ourselves on our flexibility and ability to respond to meet the needs of our patients.
The post holder will be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), undertaking personal care activities, delegated clinical care duties including clinical observations and specified clinical skills as directed by registered professionals and within clearly defined parameters, to provide healthcare and support that is individualised to the patient needs.
As a Home Care Practitioner within the ICC, you will work with patients in their own homes to provide short-term support, aiming to maximise independence and increase confidence and quality of life.
The ability to travel independently across a wide rural area is essential

There are 7 wards, 5 Medium Secure and 2 Low Secure.
Main duties of the job
To work independently and accountably as part of a team of clinicians offering 24 hr mental health access and information in the locality of the Trust. The service will be 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for 365 days a year working shifts in an in-patient low secure forensic setting.
To act as a role model to other Nurses and HCAs, supervising them to ensure high quality care is provided.
Work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team.
To deliver a high quality and effective operational service to patients with complex needs, in accordance with the principles and objective of the Trust and its vision as identified in the service.
To work collaboratively with others within the new organization to provide an exemplary level of care to service users and their Carers.
To complete the required clinical audits, ensure compliance with Trust and local Policies and Procedures

Main duties of the job
As a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity, safety and wellbeing.

The role
Lead the national delivery of elective recovery across the NHS. NHS England is seeking an experienced, credible and resilient senior leader to drive the day-to-day delivery of the Elective Recovery Plan. Working closely with the Executive Director for Performance and Delivery, you will lead a national programme team, maintain oversight of performance, quality and safety, and support systems to deliver sustainable improvements for patients.
The opportunity
This is a high-profile national leadership role with responsibility for programme governance, planning, assurance and delivery across elective care. Job summary
The Gastroenterology Directorate has an exciting opportunity for an Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Pathway Coordinator. This pivotal role is key to supporting the effective management and coordination of patient pathways within the Gastroenterology service. Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
As a Highly Specialist SLT / Clinical Team Lead you will hold your own clinical caseload in mainstream schools in the North West of Surrey, as well as providing secondary opinions for others in the team. You will have a management role in the West SLT Team which includes working alongside the other Team Leads to support and develop our enthusiastic and friendly team who work in mainstream and specialist schools.
Through a joined up approach with colleagues across Surrey, you will ensure the wider team is informed of current research and evidence base, and that clinical practice is of high quality. In your role you will provide clinical supervision and line management to members of the SLT Team and support with second opinions, observation, training and shadowing opportunities for colleagues.
In addition, you will also:
- Support student placements
- Work with management on the operational and strategic development of services to our schools across Surrey
- Provide advice at educational panels
About us
The School-Aged Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service is part of Surrey's offer to support the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities of children and young people within mainstream schools and specialist provision. The Service is part of the Early Intervention and Prevention Team in Surrey's Children, Families and Lifelong Learning directorate, working collaboratively with other teams such as Educational Psychology, Specialist Teachers, REMA and Behaviour Support.
We are a large team (over 180) of both qualified Therapists and non-qualified Therapy Assistants, with excellent supervision and CPD models. We currently work across the four geographical quadrants of Surrey, each managed by a Quadrant Lead. The teams in each quadrant are made up of Therapists and Assistants. There are a team of Highly Specialist / Clinical Team Leads in each geographical area who work together to support the team and support service development.
Our aim is for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs to receive the right support at the right time. We do this through assessment and intervention, equipping families and professionals with the skills and resources to work together to help and support children with SLCN. We work with children and young people with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plan) and those at SEN (Special Education Needs) support.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the PRIME-IF research team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, working collaboratively with academic and third sector partners.
PRIME-IF is a 30-month National Institute for Health and Care Research for Patient Benefit (NIHR RfPB) funded project developing and evaluating a personalised rehabilitation intervention for people living with intestinal failure receiving home parenteral support. The post holder will play a central role in leading the co-adaptation, evaluation, and refinement of the intervention.The role will involve leading the day-to-day delivery of the PRIME-IF research study, including regulatory approval applications, intervention co-development, participant recruitment, outcomes assessment (quantitative evaluation), semi-structured interviews (qualitative evaluation), data management, and study coordination. We are seeking a highly experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our supportive and highly skilled team of22SLT's and5 assistant practitioners. You will be working with neonate and paediatric inpatients at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. Energy,visionand clinicalexpertise within this field is essential. Paediatric Services:
UHCW has one of the largest paediatric units in the West Midlands. Services for children are entirely provided from a dedicated Children's Unit. At University Hospital there are 61 infant and children's beds including a 12-bed adolescent unit, 6 High Dependency beds, 19 infant beds and 24 beds for older children, as well as a 6 bedded medical day unit.
Newborn Services
The hospital has a purpose-built Neonatal Unit with a capacity of 16 critical carecots(intensive care and high dependency) 8special carecotsand 12 transitional carecots. The unit is one of the two designated level 3 intensive care units for the Central Newborn Network.
Main duties of the job
- Leading, co-ordinating and delivering a high quality, evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy service to the highly specialised and complex clinical area of neonates (working alongside Coventry & Warwickshire Neonatal AHPs Integrated Service) and paediatrics, requiring a highly advanced level of knowledge, skills and experience.
- Providing clinical supervision, training and support
- To work as an autonomous practitioner, providing comprehensive, specialist speech and language therapy assessment, differential diagnosis and treatment of children and babies who present with feeding and swallowing difficulties.
- Work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to team discussions and influencing decisions about patient care programmes, taking on the role of care coordinator where appropriate.
- To be a source of expertise and provide clinical support, where appropriate to other MDT colleagues, Health Care professionals including students and community services.
- To lead SLT policy development within neonates and paediatric Speech and Language Therapy.
- Use specialist knowledge to respond to urgent requests for input and ensure that referrals are prioritised and triaged effectively to ensure that high risk patients are seen urgently, and to expedite rapid assessment and discharge planning

Job summary
We are looking for a caring, approachable and patient centred hand therapy technician to join our established service at UHCW and Rugby St Cross supporting people recovering from injury, surgery and conditions affecting the hand and upper limb.
You will work mainly in our outpatient clinic, with occasional visits to the wards. Working alongside qualified therapists, you'll help patients follow personalised rehabilitation programmes through one-to-one appointments and potentially group sessions. You will play an important role in helping patients regain movement, strength, function and independence following injury, surgery or other conditions affecting the hand and upper limb. You'll also support a defined caseload, following agreed treatment plans and raising any changes or concerns with the supervising therapist.
The role offers the opportunity to develop practical hand therapy skills, including assisting with the fabrication, fitting and adjustments of splints under the guidance of a qualified therapist, as well as supporting with wound care. You'll also help keep our treatment areas prepared, safe and welcoming.
You'll play a key role in the day to day running of the department. This includes maintaining stock levels, helping with the triage processes, liaising with our admin team as well as other multi-disciplinary teams and keeping our data spreadsheets up to date.
Main duties of the job
- To treat patients, following protocols that have been delegated to them e.g. walking aid assessments, progression of treatments, participating in planned group work, activities of daily living, and individual activities as part of ongoing treatment. Only undertaking tasks that they have been trained to carry out.
- To independently develop and provide exercise programmes for individual patients, with the guidance of a registered therapist where appropriate.
- To use knowledge and understanding of common physical, mental and behavioural health conditions to recognise deterioration in service users. Respond by promptly escalating concerns to a registered practitioner.

Bexley CAMHS provides specialist mental health care for children and young people from birth to 18 years with their parents/families/carers. We provide specialist assessment and treatment for children and young people with severe and enduring emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. Specialist CAMHS has a responsibility to assist professionals working with children in universal services to enhance the capacity and capability of these services to identify and provide early intervention for children with mild to moderate mental health needs. This is provided through support, advice, mental health consultation, training and joint clinical work. Main duties of the job
These posts will provide:
i) Assessments and multi-disciplinary clinical interventions for children, young people, their families and carers with moderate significant and enduring mental health difficulties. The clinical work is short and medium term.

Job summary
We're looking for a highly motivated Consultant Haematologist to join our friendly and dynamic department at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, part of the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire Group.
You'll work alongside four experienced Consultant Haematologists to deliver comprehensive general and BSH Level 2b Haemato-oncology care, covering a broad spectrum of malignant and non-malignant haematology. This is a replacement post offering the chance to take ownership of specialist interests such as lymphoma, leukaemia, coagulation, or haemostasis.
Working alongside four Consultant Haematologists, you will provide consultant-led care across malignant and non-malignant haematology in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Main duties of the job
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, consultant-led Haematology services for both inpatients and outpatients across North Northamptonshire and neighbouring regions. Working within an integrated MDT framework, you will:
- Provide expert care across general and malignant Haematology, including Haemato-oncology, coagulation, and transfusion services
- Participate in the 1:4 consultant on-call rota, with appropriate middle-grade support
- Lead and contribute to outpatient clinics, ward rounds, bone marrow lists, and the Haematology MDT
- Offer clinical advice and interpretation of Haematology investigations to medical colleagues across the Trust and in primary care
- Take an active role in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, with opportunities for involvement in research and clinical trials
- Participate in service development, bringing forward ideas for innovation and pathway improvement
