An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Applied Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) to join our Neuropsychology Service within the Shropshire Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team, based in Shrewsbury.

Main duties of the job
This role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to manage a specialist caseload, delivering high-quality psychological assessment and intervention for adults adjusting to life following acquired or traumatic brain injury, as well as a range of neurological conditions. You will work therapeutically with individuals experiencing cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and psychosocial changes, helping to support recovery, adjustment, and quality of life.
The postholder will also provide specialist psychological advice, consultation, and training to colleagues and other professionals within the multidisciplinary team, contributing to integrated and holistic care.
In addition, there will be opportunities to contribute to service evaluation, audit, research, and policy development. The role includes offering appropriate clinical and/or research supervision, supporting the development of peers and less experienced psychologists, and actively promoting psychologically informed practice across the service.
You will join a friendly, supportive, and dynamic team of psychological professionals, working closely with Consultant Clinical Psychologists and fellow Psychologist colleagues. The wider multidisciplinary team includes specialist Neuro Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Neuro Physiotherapists, ensuring a collaborative and comprehensive approach to neurorehabilitation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a clear understanding of issues relating to management of clinical research in the NHS to join our Clinical Oncology Research Team at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre

Main duties of the job
The main purpose of the role is to support the clinical research team with all aspects of clinical trials administration, according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), standard operating procedures (SOPs) and trust policies.
The post holder will provide support to the Research Nurses and wider Clinical Research Team and undertake Management of Band 5 Snr Clinical Trial Coordinator(s).
The post holder will be responsible for the administration of clinical trials from feasibility to archiving including (but not limited to):
Responsible for the efficient and timely set up of clinical trials.
Responsible for maintaining databases/spreadsheets and production of monthly progress reports on recruitment.
Workforce planning to manage trial activity ensuring case report form completion and amendment processing meets internal and external deadlines.
Oversee quality assurance of all trial related documentation in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
Working closely with the Head of Research and Research Governance Lead to ensure preparation for audit and inspections within assigned teams.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen at Broomfield Hospital for someone to join our friendly team as a Echocardiographer in our Cardiac Department. You will provide Echocardiography in both an inpatient, outpatient and community service in which you will be based in our PFI wing where we have the latest, most up to date equipment and facilities. We are as BSE accredited department, we perform a range of Echocardiography services including Physiology led stress echocardiography and Physiology led valves clinics. Please note we are unable to sponsor this role, as this is a fixed-term maternity cover post and part time, 28.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within the echocardiography department as a highly specialist clinical cardiac scientist/echocardiographer, independently performing and reporting routine and complex echocardiograms both in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The post-holder will hold accreditation with the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) in adult trans-thoracic echo (TTE) and will be expected to hold or be working towards registration as a clinical scientist with the Health Care Professions Council or RCCP registration. The post holder will be expected to provide training support and education to students and colleagues.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Care Assistant to join the specialist palliative care team working both within the community under hospice at home and the inpatient ward at the Macmillan Unit and Forest Holme. We provide palliative and End of Life Care to patients with life limiting disease. The successful candidate would need to be compassionate and demonstrate a keen interest in Palliative care. They would also demonstrate the ability to provide a high standard of quality care to our patients. The candidate needs to have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work flexible hours. Previous NHS experience of working in palliative care environment is essential.
You will need to drive and have access to a car for this role.
The role covers shift work 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
New starters to the trust will have to undertake a numeracy and literacy test.
This post is being advertised as a Band 3, however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3

Main duties of the job
The Care Group Manager with the Senior Matron is expected to support the Care Group Director to deliver the effective integrated clinical, operation and financial performance of the Care Group.
This role is responsible for ensuring national and local access targets are achieved, along with ensuring all aspects of people, performance and financial objectives are delivered as per the Care Group and Trust business plan. The Care Group Manager will provide strong leadership at a Care Group level, ensuring that there are appropriate systems and processes in place to deliver objectives and drive forward the service to improve the operational effectiveness of the Care Group.
To enable them to execute this responsibility the post holder is expected to provide proactive and visible leadership. Leadership will span four key areas; service leadership, people and personal leadership, quality leadership and collaborative leadership.
All senior leaders are expected to work as part of a cohesive team and, when necessary, to take lead responsibility for corporate issues outside their immediate sphere of responsibility in order to achieve the corporate objectives of the Trust.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Nurse. Candidates should have excellent clinical skills and a General Practice background to lead our established nursing team of 6 Nurses and Health Care Assistants. We are seeking a whole-timeConsultant Virologist or Consultant Medical Virologist and Infectious Disease Physician post for Public Health Wales (PHW) Infection Services, Cardiff. The successful applicant will work within the Welsh Specialist Virology Centre (WSVC), Cardiff. Depending on qualifications, the candidate may agree to spend some time within the Infectious Disease service.
In this role, you will join the expanding Clinical Infection Team delivering services to Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, but also specialist services to the WSVC and supporting the wider Public Health Wales network.
